9.4 Excellent
Pros: My fiancé and I stayed at Bayside Inn & Marina for 1 night. It was a lovely stay. The room was ready for us when we arrived, check in was simple. The room was immaculate in terms of cleanliness which was huge for me. We walked down to their beach/picnic area and it was beautiful. The views of the lake and the lake water itself - gorgeous. We just sat outside for most of the evening. When it was time to get dinner, we asked for a recommendation of light fare and got a great one, came back to the hotel and ate by the lake. The next day we were able to get up and borrow one of the hotel kayaks for free and take it out on the lake for an hour, so beautiful! When it was time to leave, we asked for a recommendation for brunch and were sent to the Double Day cafe in Cooperstown and had a wonderful meal. Overall a great experience, I would definitely go back!
Cons: The hotel isn't within a reasonable walking distance to Cooperstown center but it's an easy price to pay for the gorgeous lake views and access.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely friendly staff, well kept grounds, clean rooms, quiet, beautiful lake view, will stay every time i go to this area!! Had a fire in the firepit out by lake at night and met new friends. Took their kayak out in the morning at sunrise. Beautiful!

5.7 Okay
Pros: The friendly staff and the views (minus all the telephone and electric lines) made the stay memorable... upon request we received an iron and an upgraded remote control for the tv-cable box... the indoor pool-sauna room was acceptable (tho' it closed at 9pm, nightly).
Cons: Small accommodations - no desk; the bath needed to be refurbished; the wi-fi service was 'spotty;' the entryway light went out; too many wires visible and gave the impression they were improvising ways to receive electric current - contrived to simply get the job done; the entertainment and meeting rooms were uninspired, tired... while we felt safe, we never felt we were in a space physically nearest to one of America's highly celebrated music festivals.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice location near the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. Two pool, one outdoor and one indoor. Continental breakfast included.
Cons: I really liked everything but for the purpose of this section Id say some stuff is a bit dated but well kept.
8.0 Excellent

7.4 Good
Pros: Reasonably close to Cooperstown village and Dreams Park baseball fields. Across the street from fishing docks and swimming in the lake. Very reasonable prices during peak season. Strong AC window unit. Nice staff.
Cons: Musty smelling room due to lack of bathroom ventilation so all of the humidity is stuck in the room. Old tube style TV (some rooms have flat LCDs). Beds are terrible....lumpy, squeaky and old. Wifi was very sporadic and slow. Parking can be tight for certain units next to the entrance.
The Tunnicliff Inn - Cooperstown - Building
8.5 Excellent (710 reviews)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful location, right in the middle of everything. Never used the car for 3 days. Rode the trolley to other locations. Enjoyed the provided breakfast buffet. Hotel and room were very unique. Town of Cooperstown was a treat.
Cons: Window air conditioner drove us nuts at night. Bathroom was a little tight.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Right by Baseball Hall of Fame and it is a wonderful old house turned into a charming inn. The downstairs restaurant was good too.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, can't beat it right in downtown. We looked into hotels outside town and they were a hair cheaper but it was without a doubt worth the extra money to stay here if only for the value of not driving or paying to park. We stayed right in the middle of baseball lovers paradise in easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, bars and of course the Hall. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, staff was friendly. Highly recommended.
Cons: The breakfast was meh. Can't complain too much and we got there late but that was the one thing if I had to add a negative. Overall our stay was amazing though.

Pros: Location to Omegang good
Cons: Old run down overpriced motel
8.2 Excellent
Pros: We had a medical appointment in Cooperstown. The Red Carpet Hotel was very convenient and more reasonable than others of equal quality. We will use your hotel again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was safe, clean and friendly. Also a great value and getting a continental breakfast was a good bonus that I didn’t expect. I’m always looking for a deal and this was the best in the area.
6.2 Good
Pros: The location was ideal.
Cons: They claimed to have free wi-fi and breakfast, but there were neither. The rooms were decently clean, but I found some dirty socks on the floor and a hole in the wall when I arrived. Shower didn't drain properly. It was way too expensive for what I received. And there were only double beds, no queen beds!
4.2 Okay
Pros: They had rooms available less than $200/night.
Cons: Outside of town, small beds, no breakfast, wifi was totally unusable, way too much money for what you got.

9.1 Excellent
Pros: Great location walking distance to Cooperstown Main Street, clean hotel with clean rooms.
Lake Front Hotel - Cooperstown - Outdoors view
8.3 Excellent (694 reviews)
6.5 Good
Pros: Visited this hotel in Winter and the heat was not controllable in the rooms as the regular heating system was malfunctioning requiring heat to be pumped through the central AC. The result - some very high temperatures and major discomfort in the rooms. The staff was great and very apologetic and the rooms were otherwise very clean. It would've been nice to receive a discount of some kind (not sure if it was already baked into the price online) to account for the heating issue. Overall, the location, staff, and cleanliness of the hotel balanced out the heating issue.
4.2 Okay
Pros: The location is ideal - less than two blocks from the Hall of Fame - and it is right on the edge of the lake.
Cons: It was dark, uncomfortable, the bathroom fan sounded like an air raid warning, the walls were bare, and the sofa rock hard. At $150 a night this might have been okay - at $300 pretty much unacceptable.
7.3 Good
Pros: The hotel is right on Lake Otsego and it is a beautiful setting. The entire facility is updated and very clean. The proximity to town and other local attractions is very convenient.
Cons: The room was a litlle cramped. There was an exhaust fan in the bathroom that sounded like a jet engine. It didn't have a seperate switch so it went on every time you turned the light on. VERY annoying. Be aware there are NO cancellations. We were going to leave one night early to visit old friends we hadn't seen in 30 years, and they would not refund the one night. The woman at the front desk was not very personable, however the other staff members we met were all friendly.
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff, perfect location
Cons: Rooms a bit too cozy but not terrible
4.5 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: It was way too expensive for what the hotel offered. The only rooms left were ones listed as "lake view" which means a 4'x10' concrete area facing a cove with two lawn chairs. You can hear the people who dock their boat there at night and the morning. It's a fairly decent motel room that is priced at least twice as much as you would pay anywhere else. With taxes and fees the two nights cost about $600, quite a surprise for upstate NY. Only choose here if it's one of the last places available, which we did.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Great place and walking distance to museum
7.1 Good
Pros: Beautiful lakeside, downtown location.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was beautiful on a lake. This two story hotel is withing walking distance of Main St. in Cooperstown so the location is perfect in every way. There is a restaurant on the property and the breakfast was very nice. There is ample parking. The room we stayed in was very, very clean and tastefully decorated.
Cons: The room was simple and on the small side. There was no microwave and no coffee maker. The bathroom was small but adequate. The fan in the bathroom went on when you turned on the light and was very loud. I would recommend that if you stay there, you bring a night light as turning on the light( and the very noisy fan) is disruptive if you are sharing the room with anyone.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: My trip was just an overnight stay - with my 22 year old son. I chose this venue because of its location to the Baseball Hall of Fame Museum. It did not disappoint - it was within a few blocks walking distance. Our room was right on the lake - very nice setting, as was the dining area outside the hotel restaurant. Complimentary breakfast, and boat tour on the lake was included. Very clean, but smallish (queen size) room. Free parking was nice (not much parking in Cooperstown). I would definitely stay again.
