The environment was great, better recommendations from the staff would've been better than just normal key issue, staff to busy talking about each vice given the customer the attention needed.
Excellent service and food. Staff issuper nice! Small rooms.
Staff was amazingly helpful and friendly. Having food included in the price made a world of difference and made it that much more tempting to re-book next vacation! The bathrooms were kept clean, cabins were clean, an overall pleasant trip thanks to the sweet staff and clean facility. You guys rock, keep it up!
The room was very nice and staff did a good job at keeping it clean. The location is very good. The walk from the parking lots to the room buildings. There are no elevators in the room buildings so luggage has to be hauled up and down stairs.
Location, Service, rooms
The place was wonderful, the location, the Sequoia National Park, your meals are very good and the costs are OK. No, everything was fine. I suggest you to organize trips to visit the beautiful Kings Canyon, it colud be more interesting than the Sequoia NP for some people.
Location is great, restaurant was very nice. Great winter get-away. Rooms need updating and upgrading.
location in middle of the park
The location in the park was great however it was a 10+ minute walk to the lodge. The room was sub-standard Needed a remodel was circa 1970. No ac only a ceiling fan and a small window fan, no elevator and a steel Climb to the lodge & parking areas. Extremely expensive, we have stayed at luxury hotels for less. Staff was Totally Unknowledgeable, with the exception of Roman. There were No adult management only foreign College students who could have cared less about the guests...I guess they were "cheap" help. I would say There were no ammmenitues at all! But it was the only real hotel in the park. See above
It is a beautiful place to enjoy your winter vacation. If you love snow and nature, this is the place to be. Food is a bit pricy but excellent service and delicious.
Everything The walk from parking lot to lodge was tiring.
The location in a National Park Internet was unusable, food expensive with limited vegetarian options, and some rooms were very noisy.
The crystal clear nigts sky & the myriad of gleaming stars !! Erm?
Beautiful area Lack of food options, costly food options
Location and Friendly + Helpful Staff Beds are uncomfortable, heating/cooling system is noisy and blows the window curtains up compromising privacy a little bit, facilities are adequate but shows of minor deferred maintenance (some lights don't work, towel hangers in bathroom dangling and unusable, etc), rooms looked and seemed clean but didn't make me feel they were clean.
Comfortable and clean. Bathroom had no vent and door did not remain open. Had to prop open, blocking front door, for air.
Big bed and big TV! That's all I want after a massive hike. The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast, but that's not the franchise owner's fault; that's a reflection of the whole chain/empire. The last thing I want to eat before a 10 mile hike at 7500 ft is fake eggs and frosted flakes. It's 2015, people! The hotel was fine, but for $70 I'd like some eggs that knew a chicken, once upon a time. I don't expect all diets to be accommodated, like gluten-free or other "special needs," but what about the special needs of my stomach to eat real food?
Front desk staff were super nice and solved problems with kindness and efficiency. Couldn't hope for better service or attitude anywhere. The rooms and facilities badly need upgrading. Furniture, carpeting, bathrooms look worn and old. Two buildings but even the newer one is very outdated. We used 3 different rooms in different locations and none were clean enough.
Full continental breakfast. Small workout room, but Comfort Inn in Yosemite didn't even have one. Clean. Close to park. Helpful n nice staff. Didn't like the small town its in. This hotel is the most commercial in town too. No elevator for second floor
Really good breakfast, waffle maker was awesome
The location is close by the south entrance to the park, about 5 miles away, so it is fairly convenient. There are some restaurants and a convenient store next to the hotel. The room is decent. We stayed at the bottom floor near the back of the hotel. There were many bugs crawled through the door crack during the night. We stayed in November time so not sure if It is supposed to be like this in spring or summer. Maybe second floor would have been better.
Attended a wedding in the area and the location of the hotel was very convenient. The options were limited in the area so really this is the most reasonable of the options in price and quality. Our bathroom had seen some solid wear and tear. Clean but pretty beat.
Bed was firm and comfortable. No elevator. No fridge in room. Cheap furniture. Filthy laundry room with leaking ice machine and broken equipment. This place is a Fleabag. They charge a hefty price because they are near Sequoia. Lousy breakfast foods. Noisy.
The price is unbeatable. The shower head was completely disgusting
Very cheap to stay here, rooms are big and clean, very close to Sequoia National Park, breakfast was decent, overall just a great deal. We got a lot for what we paid. There were flying insects in the room, including mosquitoes.
It's near the Kaweah River. You can walk to it and have spectacular views and get close to the river. The playground is great for children. There was no hot water! At best it was lukewarm, for the first person taking a shower, then the warm water ran out. The pool was unusable. It was full of leaves when we got there, then when it got "cleaned" it was cloudy.
Close to the park's entrance. Poor maintained rooms. Extremely slow wifi. Bad quality breakfast Minuscule bathrooms Expensive
1 hour drive from Sequoia National Park where Sentinel Tree and General Sherman Tree are Staff very friendly. One of them was a ranger and provided a lot of information on visiting Sequoia National Park. Location: -2 hour drive from Grant Grove, Kings Canyon National Park -3 hour drive from Cedar Grove, Kings Canyon National Park Room was not "ready" when we checked in -only 1/4 roll toilet paper left -Kleenex container empty. Next day they left a Kleenex box on bathroom counter and did not put in the container -Spa was not turned on the 2nd night we were there -no WiFi in the room -dark room
The flowers and smell of Jasmine, pool, location, spacious rooms. Keys kept discharging.
Mini Fridge Microwave Close to small markets Dirty looking pool weird smelling room
It was near the sequoia and King canyon park. The smell of the room, bad water pressure, and thin walls; hear other people in their rooms.
Close to the park
close to town and Sequoia Park. It was quiet A/C in bedroom was not working. We registered as 4 adults but only bed space to sleep for three person.
Location Location on route to three national parks with a good local restaurant recommended by the hotel reception. A clean and bright over night stop.
Corner room mountain view Poor parking, sliding door entrance
great welcome, good information about Sequoia National Park and neighborhood
Very close to Sequoia National park. The price is good also. Restaurant with drinks is rather far away (can be reached by foot, but along the dark road, where one can meet the wild bears, as hotel staff said). The breakfast is scarce.
Location The fact that we called them to check availability and thy told us that they were all booked. After that we used kayak to book and we got a room. As we got there the Vacancy sign was on. So, there is some business thing between them and booking sites that sucks. Don't trust when thy say hat they are all booked. Just drive to tv hotel and you will see that lots of vacancy.
Clean and comfort hotel. Nice decorated rooms, easy access and very friendly staff. Free WiFi is a good addition to awesome olf fashinade rooms. Very good choice if you want to go to national parks. Breakfast is quite simple, coffee, tea, porridge and some baking.
good place, nice bed
This is not a Lodge, these rooms are converted attics tiny rooms with a shared bath! The dirt on the stairs as you walk upstairs is a clue of what is waiting for you. Countless people have signed the guest book noting that they had no ideal that this is a Bed & Breakfast. This is a rip off, dirty small place! No TV in your room & you have to share a bathroom! My credit card was charged $250 & you will not be able to get you $$ back! Don't make the mistake I made! I left after seeing this, I didn't stay night, but still had to pay. $250 for a dirty attic converted tiny room! Hopefully I have saved someone some cash & stopped them from making a mistake!
The hotel is in a fantastic location and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.
The location to everywhere we wanted to go. It was also nice and quiet. Sink was backed up for 3 days. Told the staff on day 1, nothing happened until day 3. Low water pressure and large spiders in room.
close to Sequoia park, free breakfast, fridge and microwave in the room, overall good experinece smelly AC (change filters), and please change your detergents, because linens and towels have strong chemical smell, maybe do some updates to the room interior - change old arm-chairs and the hotel will be close to solid 3 stars.
Nothing Small, old, lots of bugs.
Locataion, the park-like grounds and the friendly staff were all great Matice was not so good.
location, short walk to Kaweah River mattress needs replacing
The room was very spacious. The bed was comfy. There were plenty of pillows to choose from. The bathroom was very well lit and it has a make-up mirror. Had small breakfast offerings which were ok but pick-up hours were inconvenient. The carpet was worn out. The dvd/vcr player was ancient. Had to ask how to get a movie to show up on the TV. The remotes were worn out too. Windows need room darkening curtains as the sunrise shines bright very early in the morning.
Nice location. The property was pretty and surprisingly quiet for being off the main road.

No vacancy left the night we stayed yet it was a quiet night in our duplex cottage. Had to drive to get dinner. Glad the backyard of our cottage was not the goat yard, it could have been

It was the best hotel in the area, although the TV worked poorly and it was very old but it was clean and the price was right
Comfortable enough. Good shower. Great location in relation to Sequoia National Park. I am by no means a snob when it comes to crashing in a town that I don't know well, BUT as soon as we got to our room the toilet did not work. Since there was no telephone in the room to call the desk I walked over and they told me to keep trying it until it worked. That was actually their advice.
Was a beautiful lodge we throughly enjoyed our stay, the hotel is beautiful with the wooden structure and the property is stunning, only downside was the restaurant though the food and service was excellent the decor left little to the imagination , was hoping the restaurant would have a more lodgey environment rather than the plainess it was but overall very very happy!!
The staff is very friendly and the lounge area is roomy and well arranged with several tables and chairs, couches, single comfy chairs with lamps for reading and a large fireplace. In the summer, there are nice benches and chairs for sitting on the porch areas in the shade. The lodge is perfect if you don't want to camp, but still enjoy hiking and outdoors of Sequoia and Kings Canyon. The pillows are not very comfortable and plush. There is no internet in the rooms.
