Pros: Nothing bad. The “Rotenburo” is wide enough and has nice view.
Cons: Nothing. If the guests who want to drink from breakfast can be separated, it could be better.
Pros: A brand new, yet reasonably priced facility - super modern!
Cons: Location: It is good that the hotel is located close to the station but at the north side, and having to cross the long station to the south side where most tourist attractions are was problematic.
Pros: The hotel was spotless, the staff were incredibly kind and their English was very good. We were in one of the deluxe rooms and I'm so glad I decided to go with the deluxe, the room was standard size, a really large bed, massage chair and large TV. What made it for me was the bathroom, it was a lot larger then other bathrooms in Japanese hotels I've stayed in, the bath was more like a western bath so I could lay down in it but was still quite deep like Japanese baths. There was a handheld shower and an amazing waterfall shower. There were also all the amenities you could need in the bathroom, much better stocked then the hotels back home. The staff let us leave our bags with them before check in and if we'd needed to we could have left them after check in too. They also gave us a complimentary sheet mask upon check in, we felt very pampered! Numazu is a lovely city that I will certainly be returning to and when I do I won't hesitate to book a room at this hotel again.
Cons: Wish we could have been on the other side of the building as that side had an amazing view of Mt Fuji!
Pros: The location was brilliant, pretty much central to everything, and if you like Love Live you will love it here too.
Cons: Not much I didn't like, loved every moment in Numazu
Pros: Superb location. The hotel is located within 5 minutes walk from the station. Between the station and the hotel, there’s a shopping mall with arcade open till late :) There is a small Lawson below the hotel, and a huge 7eleven store opposite the road, so fear not if you want to buy anything at night. The check-in procedure is high tech and fast. The room size is huge for the price we paid. Service staffs were really nice and able to speak relatively fluent English. The counter staff, oshima, was really proactive in helping out when she found out that I left my luggage key in the room, and even updated me that they found the key via email afterwards.
Cons: The hotel is located at the other side of numazu. Thus, if you want to go to the big shopping street, you will need to walk a bit to the underpass. Not a big issue though.
Pros: The location is good and near the train/bus station. The price is reasonable and the breakfast is generally good.
Cons: There is not a safe box in the room so you have to keep the valuable belonging with you.
With a stay at Izu Mitsuhama Syoutoukan in Numazu, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Izunagaoka Hot Spring and Izu-Mito Sea Paradise. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and luggage storage. A train station pick-up service is provided at no charge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Unique ryokan experience with beautiful views of Mt. Fuji
Cons: No place to walk around near hotel.
Pros: The staff of this Ryokan are the epitome of “Omotenashi”! A big thanks to all and especially Mai!
Pros: Gorgeous views of Mt. Fuji, excellent service from the entire staff. The dinner and breakfast were excellent and delicious, a feast for the eyes and stomach. Highly recommended onsen.
Pros: The service was impeccable, the food was superb and the facilities were more than one can hope for. We truly enjoyed our stay as it gave us the chance to relax and experience local culture. What topped it off was the personal touches such as the hand drawn birthday card and gifts as my partner and I were celebrating our birthdays.
Pros: Omotenashi at its best
Cons: We do not speak Japanese and therefore communications was a bit of a challenge.
Pros: It's totally an incredible onsen hotel. The hotel staff are very professional and friendly who make our feeling so pleasant! Meanwhile, the Japanese-cuisine dinner and breakfast are very delicious with many options. My family enjoy the meals a lot! Also, the room is spacious and comfortable where you can have tatami or western beds to choose, so that it's better for those who can't sleep on tatami. The most amazing point is the experience of onsen. The room has the in-room onsen amenity where you have marvellous view of Fuji when enjoying the onsen. Indeed, you can choose the public onsen on the top floor where you have widespread view of the Ocean and Mountain. Last, I believe that I'll come back to this Hotel again, perhaps in Winter when the onsen experience will be more unique and enjoyable!
Cons: The region of the Hotel situated is the countryside where you can't have places for shopping or doing sightseeing, so that it might be boring for those who enjoy shopping. Furthermore, the shuttle bus from the Hotel to the Railway Station only operates three times a day which has to be pre-ordered. If there's more schedules of the shuttle bus, it will be more helpful!
Located in Izunokuni (Izu Nagaoka Onsen), KONABESSO is a 4-minute walk from Izunagaoka Hot Spring and within a 5-minute drive of Katsuragiyama Ropeway. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very friendly staff. Perfect dinner and breadfast. Comfort and big room.

Pros: They having big bathroom, Good Breakfast Near From Numazu station and convenience store having compliment bath stuff
Pros: Restroom great , Localization good, place modern !
Pros: The bathing area is separated from the toilet which is nice and spacious. The facilities look new.
Cons: The sunlight leaked in to the beds early in the morning. It could've been better if the beds weren't situated under the windows or if the window shades could be tightly sealed. Windows cannot be opened in the room so there's an unpleasant odour even with the air filter turned on.
Pros: Location and comfort
Pros: Good, well equipped room. Very good location, both in city and as centre for exploring the area.
Cons: Restaurant only provides breakfast.
Pros: Location is very near to numazu station and close to convenient store only 2 mins walk. Room was cleaned and all staff have a great service mind. Breakfast have both western and japanese style main course plus buffet with salad and etc. which the taste was good.

Featured amenities include luggage storage and an elevator. Planning an event in Izunokuni? This ryokan has facilities measuring 1658 square feet (154 square meters), including conference space. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Design of the building and the Garden.
Cons: Breakfast is too expensive and no more choices.
Pros: Loved everything about it.
Cons: A bit pricy. Thats all.
Pros: The park and pond that are part of the facilities are beautiful, and the location is easily accessible by car. The outdoor onsen is nice and well-maintained. The ropeway about a 25min walk away is worth a trip.
Cons: Definitely outdated facilities and rooms, and the service very forced and half-hearted. The request for a dinner without shellfish made at the time of reservation was ignored and not really replaced on the spot by the obviously stressed staff, either. For the price, service and facilities were really not up to par. Lack of a private onsen really did not help, which for 800$ a night is often part of the package.
Pros: the park was amazing; the room was really big.
Cons: 70s style hotel, need some renovation, especially the carpet and the wall paper.
Pros: From the kindness of the staff to the amazing garden. It was just amazing. If you come by train, make sure to properly plan.
Pros: Incredible. Best place I have ever stayed in my life. A work of art.
Pros: Garden design and the staff are very useful and nice.
Cons: A bit overpriced.
Pros: The dinners were generally good and the room was large and comfortable. Our quadruple room had a private bath which was a pleasant surprise. Generally attentive service. Very large and attractive Japanese landscape garden that was available for guests to wander around freely in. I would say that the gardens are the best part of the stay.
Cons: Sanyo-so is rather far from the station (Izu-Nagaoka). It takes about 20 minutes on foot to brisk walk to the station, and if you have to drag your luggage with you, add 10 minutes more to your journey. While shuttle service is available, the timings are so inflexible and the staff are rigid, regardless of whether you are checking out with your luggage. The earliest shuttle you can book is 10am, but that is really not helpful when we wanted to catch the 9.57am train on the day of our check-out. We ended up dragging our luggage to the station instead. Also, most, if not all, of the staff could only speak Japanese which was surprising for such a large ryokan that is part of the Prince hotel group. This made communication tougher for us.
With a stay at HOTEL SHOWMEIKAN in Mishima, you'll be within a 15-minute walk of Mishima Taisha Shrine and Sano Art Museum. Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Rooms are quite large for japan. I really liked the Japanese style breakfast in the morning. It is very complete. Note that breakfast ends at 9.30 and check-out is strictly at 10am.
Pros: This hotel is tremendous value for money. It's clean, modern, close to the train station and downtown and the staff were very nice. Fantastic! Will definitely return there.
Pros: Very convenient location. Room is comfortable with plenty of space and all necessary facilities.
Pros: The room is very big.
Cons: The color of the sofa is a little bit wired.
Pros: Wonderful friendly staff. Very quiet.
Cons: I wish there was variety at breakfast. Same item every morning. But wonderful breakfast and staff.

Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Planning an event in Mishima? This hotel features 0 square feet (0 square meters) of event facilities. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: Onsen with view on top floor, free coffee and free evening noodles, 5 minute walk from station
Cons: Small room, toilet seat not properly fixed
Pros: noodle is yummy
Cons: location is not good
Pros: Nice breakfast. Nice facility. Small but clean. Excellent location with walking distance from the train station.
Cons: It is a bit noisy with the train's sound at night. But I was fine with an earplug. The other thing I don't feel good about is my sister come with us for a chat but she would leave after dinner for Tokyo. She walked in with us with her luggage since it's a family trip. I was asked several times if the reservation is only for 4 people( We are a party of five, including my sister) And I felt being watched through the whole time when I was in and out with my sister to buy train tickets. The counter is suspicious about me and I dont' feel so good about it. I don't know how on earth such small room can manage to put in 5 people.(it's a 4 people family reservation).
Pros: free spa and ramen, great views for Fuji mountain.
Cons: a bit noisy while train passing
Pros: The location was very convenient being very close to the station and local shops and restaurants. I stayed to goto Gotemba premium outlet - you can catch a bus from outside the station. There was a bath facility on the roof which was clean and lovely.
Pros: The hotel is at a very central location. The north entrance gives you the shortest way to the hotel. The onsen facilities are great. Separate men and women facilities, no options to rent one for couples. The price of the hotel is a big high but I guess it is also for an onsen. The sushi/ seafood restaurant at the south side of the station was absolutely great. This was also the side where the bus for the skywalk left. The hotel is nearby some laundry place, two convenient stores and quite a lot of restaurants.
With a stay at SANCO INN NUMAZU-EKIMAE in Numazu, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Izunagaoka Hot Spring and Port of Numazu. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: this hotel is located near the station around this hotel, there are so many restaurants also, the breakfast is not bad
Cons: if I have to say one bad thing, it will be the size of the room. But, considering the price, it can't be helped
Pros: The front desk person was very helpful
Cons: Price high with such location
Pros: Price, free breakfast, and kind staff. Good area for anyone who likes Love Live! Sunshine!! For an affordable price.
Cons: The bed felt a little hard and the pillows were strange with the beads in them on one side. That's a personal thing for me who loves soft beds and pillows. The lighting was a little dim but that's a minor complaint.
Pros: Close to the station, inside Nakamise basically. Clean room, free tea bags. Good alternative hotel for Love Live Sunshine Fans!
Cons: The elevator stops at the lobby (3rd floor) every time you want to go to your room or out of the hotel which was very annoying.
Pros: Very friendly staff, extremely clean rooms, good breakfast, wery close to Numazu Train station.
Cons: Having to pay to use the washing machine, Numazu is ugly. Nobody speaks english but thankfully they to anything to try to help.
Pros: Complimentary coffee until 12 midnight and delicious free breakfast. Very helpful staff.
Cons: It took me a while to find it. Maybe they could tell us exactly how to get there from the Family Mart convenience store?
Pros: Excellent friendly service and very clean rooms as almost anywhere in Japan. There're a free printing and copying service and free coffee in the afternoon.
Cons: The air conditioning isn't state of the art: You can't adjust the temperature, just the amount of airflow, which is blown in at fixed temperature. Additionally, it gets very loud and it doesn't seem to add enough fresh outside air. Breakfast is sufficiently good enough, though nothing special. The room was small, the bathroom very small.
Pros: The hotel is situated in a very good spot near the station, some shopping and even a convenience store right next door! Included breakfast is a very big plus and their breakfast is of really good quality. There's also a free 3-hour bicycle rental, but not everyone seems to know that. Numazu is best explored on a bicycle, so please enquire about it!
With a stay at Shoheiso Ryokan in Izunokuni (Izu Nagaoka Onsen), you'll be a 1-minute drive from Izunagaoka Hot Spring and 6 minutes from Awashima Marine Park. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great relaxing stay after travelling around Japan. A break from all the walking around, its so peaceful and relaxing.
Cons: Not much options for food and I didn't under which was the female and male open bath
Pros: Polite and helpful staff.
Pros: Our room was very comfortable and personal onsen futon was amazing :) The water is too good to take a bath and also everything in the room was very clean and neat. The best part of this ryokan is staffs kindness. They were extremly thougtful and really trying to make customers feel comfortable. I highly recommend this ryokan!
Located in Izunokuni (Izu Nagaoka Onsen), Kouyurou Ikawa is a 3-minute walk from Izunagaoka Hot Spring and within a 5-minute drive of Katsuragiyama Ropeway. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, luggage storage, and an elevator. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Private bath was beautiful and relaxing, massage sevice was great
Cons: Only one person on staff spoke English, dinner was delicious but servings were a little on the large side
Pros: The half board and spa package. The dinners are 10 course and great variety
Cons: Front desk staff could do better and is the week link with the rest of the hotel.
Pros: Staff at the resort was very friendly. Sangeeta at the restaurant made our stay very special
Cons: Room upkeep was not very good. Room was not properly maintained and looked run down
A clean and safe, public inn. You can enjoy the view of the Amagi mountain range from the large public bath on the seventh floor, while you have Kano river running beneath you.
Pros: staff cannot speak English well but they are very helpful. There is a free shuttle bus from Izu-Nakaoka station to the hotel. Dinner was a lot and delicious.
Pros: Nice onsen (public bath) although the location is about 15-20 walk from the nearest train station. However, pick up by the hotel shuttle bus can be arranged and the front desk staff sent me to the station upon check out. Excellent breakfast set provided in the hotel restaurant.
Cons: Could not think of any.
Pros: No coffee, just Japanese tea. Otoriso was hard to find especially at night. The Kanji on the small sign at the street did not match the Kanji on the Booking.com website, and there was no Romanji. Location was pleasant but not very accessible - far from major streets.
Located in Susono, COUNTRY HOTEL RED FOX is within a 5-minute drive of Jurigi Kogen Observation Deck and Fuji Safari Park. Featured amenities include luggage storage and an elevator. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The food for vegetarians was impressively fancy and delicious! Actually all the food was very good! The staff was very patient and friendly even though we do not speak nor understand English.
Cons: Nothing. I loved it.
Pros: Dinner and breakfast were out of this world amazing. Also staff was exceptional.
Best rooms in Shimizu
We offer a Japanese and Western breakfast buffet; our hotel-made dishes are very popular. Free Wi-Fi connection available. A 3-minute walk to the convenience store and we offer complimentary parking! You can park a large size bus upon advance reservations. Kakitagawa Wakimizu-gun springs are popular sightseeing spot where the spring water of Mt.Fuji overflows.
Pros: Don't count on my score, I guess I would not be the best person to rate this hotel - I arrived here after riding a bicycle for 140km so the shower and warm bed was just so amazing. Any hotel could have been heaven for me though. My personal experience was perfect here. Oh and I could see an amazing view in the morning looking at Mt.Fuji!
Cons: Nothing to complain!
