the staff was always very pleasent and helpfull, the spa experience is a good thing to enjoy after a hot day at the temples also the large and very clean pool, the room service is active and helpfull at any hour of the day or night, very impressed by the fact that they sent the driver to wait for us even if we did not asked for it - we were travelling with a 6 months baby and it was amazing that finally in Cambodia we find a hotel that sent us a car at the airport - in Bali and Langkawi we asked for a car but did not got one the breakfast was pretty poor as choices
The hotel is in a great location and within 10 minute walking distance to Pub St (main bars / restaurants area). The Pool is very nice and the hotel offers internet terminals for those travelling without computers. The rooms have a walk in shower. While the rooms are large and clean, they can be considered a litle on the dark side. With the decor being Khemer it cannot be regarded as modern and bright. For the rooms that do not face out onto the pool (Standard rooms) the noise from outside can be annoying,
The beds were wonderfully comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. The spa was very relaxing too. Plenty of space to hang clothes but not enough drawer space for other clothing items.
Beautiful place to live in with greenery all over, staff was very humble very cordial very polite always smiling always ready to help i wish i had spent some more days there no regrets
very clean,good location,near old market,
Great location, easy waking distance of night life. However - although the hotel is exactly as described, it's utterly forgettable. It could be any hotel you've ever stayed in anywhere. The staff are great if you can get their attention ....you normally have to go ask for it! I gave up and went looking for a drink after sitting by the pool for 45mins. Beds are hard (but we found that everywhere on or travels ...except the Hanoi Metropole which is amazing).
The staff was very friendly, good breakfast selection. You cannot beat the price for the location, a short walk to Pub Street were all the action happens. Great pool to hang at, room was comfortable, even had a balcony The lobby is never really "cool". The AC doesn't pump very well, but the room AC was just fine
Spacious and clean rooms. Great location in the city centre and walking distance to shopping, restaurants and bars. Friendly personnel, very good breakfast buffet. I still don't understand how the "spa" works. We booked a massage at the hotel but ended up going to a small, old, rather "dodgy" massage place around the corner. Not recommended!
Good location of the hotel closed to "Pub street" only 6 mn by foot, some restaurants nearby (I recomend you 'Nest' just in front), good price during low season, breakfast quality is ok bad insonorisation of the room, not possible to sleep after 7 am due to the noise but you should normally wake up to visit temples at this time so not a big deal, decoration is a little bit 'old fashion'
The staff is outstanding--one of the best I've ever encountered. All of them couldn't have been more helpful. Rooms are comfortable. Pool is delightful. Overall, a very good stay and an excellent value. Wifi is way, way too slow. I'm talking sometimes 607 kb/sec. It was frustrating to wait and to sit close to the door to get a better signal. The lobby was only marginally better.
The hotel is located close to the center of Siem Reap. The breakfast buffet was good and offered a wide range of food, from asian noodles to french bread and omlettes. The prices for the drinks and the food in the hotel was pretty high for cambodian standards. But never the less one could get cheap food and drinks from outside in the direct vincinity of the hotel.
Overall satisfied. Internet is 25$ per day which I think is expensive
Defenitly, the location in town. Very close to the Old Market and the Pub Streets The staff needs better english
Helpful staff, around the corner from Pub St- easy walk, clean and comfortable rooms, quiet restaurant. We enjoyed our 4 night stay
Close to market area but quiet. It has all the necessary function in hotel. Laundry service and bicycle just few houses away. Convenient location. Mosquito is a big problem as they don't provide mosquito net. We had be bother by the mosquito for all night and end up not getting good sleep. It is a problem for all hotels in that area.
Very good location of the hotel; front desk staff are nice and helpful. Housekeeping is so so. they forgot to reload toilet paper and free drinking bottles when they cleaned the room.
Fantastic!! I could not use enough complimentary words to describe the excellence of our stay at this great place. I cannot think of anything degratory about this place.
The location was perfect, the staff very courteous and the facilities were quite nice.
One of the best we hotels we had on 3 week trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. Well built, quiet rooms! Spacious. Balcony (but too hot out to use). Clean. Friendly staff. Large breakfast buffet. Very convenient location. Pool. Hard bed, but not as hard as other hotels on trip.
Convenience - Very well located, steps away from the main streets (pub street, old market) yet quiet. Polite staff
Regular type of hotel with simple amenities . Too pricy for a simple looking hotel Overpriced
Great and friendly staff. Room was awesome. Location was close to everything (airport and Angkor Wat were about 20-30 minutes away from car/tuk tuk). Pool was quiet and serene. Laundry service was great as well. Overall excellent stay and would stay there again.
The design of the hotel. The blend of nature and the modern architecture provided a balanced mix that felt homey and welcoming, but above all the Cambodian essence and culture still remained within, from the staff to the food to the art work. As for experience, fantastic! this magnificent staff allowed us to thoroughly enjoy, exploring the Angkor temples as well as the hotel itself, from booking our bikes to handing out refreshing towels after a long sweaty day. Great, hospitable staff. Always friendly and very helpful to ensure your stay is the best.
The hotel is within walking distance to many of the tourist areas. There is a great selection of restaurants within a few blocks. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They provided great suggestions on things to do and helped organize tours. The large room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. They provided 2 free bottles of water daily. I would definitely stay here again.
They forgot our wake up call and we almost missed our plane. They offered free soft drinks at the pool but refused to open a can of coke light and instead would only give you coke from a 2 litre bottle that was opened days earlier and had no fizz left in it. And ordering breakfast was a night mare.
The swimming pool is excellent during very hot days.
Wonderful staff and management. Great location.
The position, the piscine, good breakfast, pleasant staff trying really hard to cope with Western tourists who are often very demanding! Excellent value for money. Bed a bit hard.
good location, clean room the price of local call is high. 30 Cents/minute. (we used the phone at reception to call Siem Reap airport, because our check-in luggage was missed by Bangkok Airway).
Beauty garden, perfect house keepeing Small territory, not easy to find
Hotel environment is good, have many plants, a swimming pool, and balcony of each room. The room is also very clean. the location was not good enough. I thought it was ok, since I was not meet rain during my trip. Maybe in rain day the road in the front of the door will be harder.
Lovely pool and gardens. Tasty breakfast, pleasant staff, free internet. I would love to go back!
The hotel is located within easy walking distance of the town center although the side road the hotel is on is in really bad shape. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is also very nice. The rooms where uncomfortable. Hard bed, noisy air-conditioning, waiting 20 minutes for hot water, shower too low to stand under. This hotel could be very nice and good value if they would upgrade their rooms.
The food served in the hotel is excellent for Cambodian standards. The swimming pool, and the surrounding trees and plants make you forget about the filth in the city. Superb hotel. Great value for money...
staff were friendly. breakfast good. room was very spacious. Whirlpool tub in room was fun. Pool area is lovely. The staff were very nice but had very limited English so that was difficult to get advice, directions, etc. The really bad thing was no light at front doorway the morning I was leaving at 5 am to go watch sunset at Angkor Wat. Staff gave me wake up call then went back to sleep on bench in lobby. When I walked out front hotel door, I tripped on uneven paving stones (no light so pitch black) and twisted my ankle. The rest of the day my walking was very limited. Manager was apologetic when I finally found in later in the day, but the damage was done and I still have a sore ankle. Keycard controlled electricity in room so frig went off during the day, so was useless. very hot in Siem Reap and blanket was too warm. By 3rd night I thought to ask for extra sheet to cover with instead of blanket.
The room was fantastic. Large, spacious, and clean. Hardwood floors and stone showers and fixtures, simple but elegant. The staff was very helpful, and there was a pool (that I did not use). The placement was good, a short walk from the busiest parts of town. In an ideal world, it would have more facilities. But that would really be asking too much given the price.
