An excellent stay all around
Very elegant old inn, great staff, superb dining, rooms comfortable with very well equipped bathrooms. A real gem in a pretty little town/ the narrow halls and different levels makes it awkward to handle large luggage.
The country setting Food much overrated. Too expensive. Food was cold. Staff was young and immature and inexperienced.
Excellent hotel, facilities and food Price, considering it is in a small town
quiet and confort surrounding countryside
A nice enough hotel but in a poor location a half block from a main road and opposite a large modern concrete building. A disappointment. see above
everything was great could use better signage on the road - it was a bit hard to find
Our stay at La Bonne Etape was the highlight of our travels to Provence. I only regret is that we did not stay longer. The accommodations, service, and food exceeded our expectation. If you can afford to stay here do not hesitate to book! Nothing. At first I was unhappy that the scale in the bathroom did not work. However, after tasting the food the chef was turning out it turned out to be a good thinkg.
Location and ambience. Great restaurant (expensive but tops off a great stay)
Swimming pool. View of mountains. Mainly, the photos of the hotel do not reflect the truth - no outside dining (all run down + broken chairs), swimming pool is tired (broken equipment, ugly fence) and the rooms are ridiculously small!! It rained, and we were stuck for 2 hours in a room for 3 no wider than 3 meters!
Beautiful location, peaceful and pleasant. Excellent staff, very helpful. We liked everything about this place.
Restruant food good....as was breafast Tired needs upgrading....but that takes money and fees go up.
The hotel has a good location, nearby climbing and mountain biking spots in Orpierre. Horrible food. The vegetables looked like they came from a tin can or something. You are better off eating in Orpierre of Laragne. Staff unavailable even after ringing the bell a dozen times.
