A place that will give you limited miles
Pros: Great service
Cons: Cheap, but they only gave me 200 km for free. So after 200, they charged me around $1 USD per km.

Mileage overcharge
Pros: Ease of pick up and drop off at the airport.
Cons: The car had a mileage limit, which I didn't read. The price of my car rental more than doubled when I drove over 200km.

Pros: We booked online from the baggage claim and picked up the car 5 minutes later. It was a great price in a very expensive place. They included a device which automatically paid tolls. No line at all to pick up or drop off.

rental was fine, but hidden fees were a nightmare
Pros: Everything worked as you'd expect other than the hidden charges we didn't notice
Cons: ... until the final bill arrived in my email with "super collision prevention" and "super theft prevention" that we had never asked for included and paid for. They must have slipped then into the contract without explaining them to us. I asked the branch manager repeatedly to remove them, explaining the circumstances, but he repeatedly refused. Stay away from Sixt, particularly in Stavanger in Norway, particularly if you're accustomed to American brands and how they represent and communicate charges. I feel bamboozled out of hundreds of dollars.

$50 dollar rental cost $200
Pros: car was OK
Cons: hidden charges - only 100 km free and then 75 cents (USD) per km after that plus a 25% tax on top of everything. They were also late for the pickup - they arrived almost 30 minutes late. I should have gone with Hertz where I'm a gold member. Luckily my lesson only cost me $150.
