Pros: Charming place, very modern and up to date
Pros: Our small bedroom was very well eqiupped to store our luggage. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen is organized perfectly. Everything is very clean. The staff is very polite and helps to organize tours or gives recommendations. We loved to stay here and hope to come back.
Pros: What a great place. We only stayed one night but wished it had been longer. Caught the bus from the car ferry which was easy. Had dinner at marenanna which was great. The rooms and bathrooms were super clean and we loved the cinnamon buns in the morning. Easy walk to A and into Reine.
Pros: I don’t know where to start because everything was great! The host was very friendly and provided great recommendations. My room was clean, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. The kitchen was spacious and clean. I also appreciated the common spaces and the bulletin board when you walk in with useful information. Overall, GREAT stay.
Cons: Nothing! Seriously. My only regret is that I didn’t spend more of my nights here.
Pros: Simply amazing! Great self check in/out system, clean and beautiful rooms, kitchen and other facilities! People are nice and helpful. Free coffee is available all the time! (Plus pastries from Nusfjord cafe)
Pros: Nicely furnished rooms and common areas. Bathrooms have a very high standard. Kitchen is perfectly equipped. Everything is very clean. And on top of all you get free and delicious cinnamon buns in the morning!
Pros: Everything was way beyond expectations: hotel design quality and comfort, public spaces and atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Pros: Cozy, trendy room and interior. Excellent kitchen and dining area. Very good showers. Everything looked brand new and was well thought out. Check-in is very convenient with access codes to the building and room. Free parking on the spot. A perfect go-to place after the ferry to Lofoten. Nice sweet cinnamon rolls in the morning. Friendly owner who gave good advice for hikes and other excursions.
Cons: Small room is really a bit tiny.
Pros: great, excellent, nice, ! ! ! our best accommodation in Norway very cozy, good equipment in the kitchen absolutely great cinnamon roll every morning incredible place !
Pros: Really nice, cute place! Good location, clean, comfortable, great kitchen and lounge areas, friendly and helpful host. Loved the warm cinnamon rolls which were in the kitchen in the morning, nice touch. :)
Cons: Rooms are small and not much space for two people, but it's fine for one night. I think the price is a bit high for such a small room with shared bathroom.
Sakrisøy Gjestegård is housed in a former manor house dating back to 1880 and is located in the area of Moskenes. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property and free private parking is available 70 metres away. All rooms feature a sea view. Certain rooms have a seating area for your convenience. Bathroom facilities are private or shared. Guests can cook their meals in the shared kitchen. Bike hire and car hire are available at this guesthouse and the area is popular for cycling and hiking. Leknes Airport is 62 km from Sakrisøy Gjestegård.
Pros: Our window is toward to mountain & sea view, it is so beautiful & amazing. The room is very clean.
Cons: We live at the third floor, no private bathroom, it is better if there are tissue paper for wiping some pouring tea or water. No need to climb up & down more! And it is better for providing hot pot, tea & coffee outside the room at the third floor.
Pros: This place was our favorite place we stayed in Norway. It was very updated and even though you're sharing a house with other people it doesn't feel like it. Beautiful location and even offered laundry which we desperately needed. Staff was responsive.
Pros: It's an awesome place!! Very stylish and excellent facilities, great host! Free car park and a very good location to explore the surroundings.
Pros: The view from the terrace is fantastic. It worth everything. Do not read the drawbacks.
Cons: The one bedroom apartment is very small, the bathroom and everything are very small, it is good for a young couple, and not very tall. The pictures in the site are accurate but do not give the feeling of how small it is. The staff was not kind. The apartment was not ready at the time of check inn. The terrace furniture is located with the back to the fantastic landscape.
Pros: What a lovely house! Clean and nice. Check-in (and out)was easy.
Pros: Great house remade as modern but with keeping its old house charm. Very clean and functional. I felt like home as soon as I entered since the atmosphere was so welcoming. The common kitchen is very handy. The balcony facing the sunset in the summer is also great for dinner outside. Sakrisøy is also a much better place to stay than Reine center where there are too many tourists. The bus can drives you close to the accommodation.
Cons: Nothing special to mention
Pros: Great location; cozy house, very nice place
Cons: Room was at the attic with steep stairs to toilets and bathrooms; not enough facilities
Pros: Loved the view ! Great location very peaceful. Has ample parking space. We stayed on the first floor in a Great big room with wonderful view with and a large and very comfortable bed. The very well equipped kitchen that we shared with other guests was great. We cooked two great fish dinners , somehow timing was good and a few other guests got to use it without interfering with each other. Paula was very helpful and efficient answered all our questions without delay. We loved our 2 night stay.
Cons: We liked everything.
Pros: The place is clean and comfortable
Pros: The staff are enthusiastic, well-positioned, well-equipped, very clean, etc. The island is very, very beautiful.
Cons: Because of the wooden structure, the room has poor sound insulation. The public bathroom is slightly inconvenient.
The Eliassen Rorbuer provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. According to our trusted guests, the facilities at this hotel are first-rate.
Pros: It is very close to the Hamnoy bridge. Takes only a few minutes to walk there.
Pros: Comfortable beds. Very scenic. Slept five easily. Easy check in. Great location.
Cons: Tiny shower.
Pros: Nice location Clean and comfortable hut with a complete kitchen A lovely place for a long stay
Cons: Fire alarm went on just for the bathroom steam
Pros: Beautiful location, very spacious cabin, great Wifi, easy to get in with the code the place provided, plentiful, free parking.
Cons: I wish they provided breakfast!
Pros: The beds were comfortable, location was fabulous
Cons: The toilet was not clean, had stains. No body wash in the shower. No coffee or tea supplies
Pros: Incredible location and wonderful place - idyllic! Basic cabins but authentic and beautiful could be improved by having seating outside on the rocks (benches/tables to sit at if you don't have a water facing cabin)
Cons: bathroom - shower didn't work properly - had to hold it as shower holder was broken whilst beds were very comfortable, they were very narrow for adults lounge/kitchen decor was very tired some of the cutlery and crockery was dirty and required washing before using oven was very dirty
Pros: The apartment is comfortable and homely.
Pros: Many things
Cons: No 24 hrs receipts
Pros: Beautiful location in a typical Northern Norway landscape.
Pros: Great location to see Lofoten !!!

At Lofoten Rorbuhotell you will find a shared lounge. An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including cycling, hiking and diving. The property offers free parking. The area is known for the Northern Lights and for fishing. The property can help arrange activities for guests.
Pros: Amazing view! Comfortable beds.
Cons: Dirty dishes in the cupboard. I had to wash every item I needed before using them.
Pros: Position was great
Cons: Air conditioning didn’t work so hot at night
Pros: This hotel saved the day when my booked cottage was uninhabitable. The location is beautiful and the staff very nice.
Cons: For the price I would expect breakfast.
Pros: The staff was very nice. Upon checking in, we were very hungry and they sat us right away in their restaurant so we could eat something before going to our room. Our cabin
Cons: It was very difficult finding our cabin. They did not seem to have a map on hand and preferred we opened Google Maps on our phones to show us where the cabin was (a short drive away). It was not easy to do, as our service was very spotty. Additionally, breakfast was not included with the room. We decided to not pay the $20 per person rate for breakfast, so I cannot speak to how good it was.
Pros: The cabin was very clean and newly refurbished. Quite comfortable. Very convenient location if you have a early ferry in the morning (the cabins are 5 min from the ferry departure).
Cons: We have been granted with Cottage n°1 which view is half the harbour / half the parking lot (and bins!). Considering the expectations, the description of the cottage we booked (Superior Cottage (2 Adults) with Sea view) and the price (200 euros per night) we were clearly disappointed. In addition, the TV was not working and we had to really insist to have it fixed.
Pros: We were a big group but we’re able to rent a big house. The house was more spacious than expected. Very clean and new. Very well located, in the port with amazing views. Got to do some hikes without taking the car. Great for family or friends.
Cons: We missed a washing machine in the house.
Pros: Huge modern bathroom.
Cons: No clothes hangers or shelves in the room.
With a stay at Å Rorbuer in Moskenes, you'll be a 4-minute walk from Norwegian Fishing Village Museum and 6 minutes by foot from Stockfish Museum. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Guests may use a ferry terminal shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Freezing all night! I wish i had the code for wifi, although it was included. Wish I stayed longer, beautiful setting and rugged! Pleasant staff when talked over phone for late checkin
Pros: Location was beautifull
Cons: Cabins are old and need maintenance, beds where very small difficult to sleep in, Wifi is terrible does not work Cabin was not clean
Pros: The staff were so welcoming and friendly upon our arrival, even though we got there relatively late in the evening. The cabin we stayed in was the oldest in Lofoten! It was a really great experience from start to finish and would gladly recommend!
Cons: The stairs leading from the entrance to the main floor of the cabin were a little steep, but nothing we couldn't manage, though I could imagine this may be a difficult task for some guests.
Pros: Location was fabulous. Cabin was well equipped . Staff were very helpful. WiFi was good .Would definitely stay again
Pros: Perfect location and acomodation. The restaurant is excellent
Pros: Staff was terrific
Cons: We had expected to have a view and a deck and were disappointed
Pros: Great location, fantastic atmosphere, stylish and comfortable. Good bathroom, nice and warm.
Cons: I would add a bedside table to the bedroom and bigger mugs for tea and coffee.
Pros: The experience of living in a rorbu is amazing! It’s very authentic, with all the necessary comfort, and makes you feel instantly like if you were home! We saw auroras from our window, as well as a nice view on the water during the day! The restaurant of the hotel is perfect for lunch and diner, and regarding breakfast, during touristic season, there is a buffet and if outside of tourist season you can get your breakfast plate directly in your rorbu, so it is quite practical (we had the last option, variety on the plate could be improved a bit but it does the job)! You also have a little kitchen in the rorbu, so you can cook something yourself (you need a car to go to the store though) Last but not least, the staff is great ! They helped us with everything: from late check-in to recommendations of places to visit, etc, along with simply nice discussions :)
Cons: The house were i stayed wasn't the one I booked. It looked like an annex and not a house in the water as seen in the photographs.
Pros: amazing and comfortable apartment. quite big. Staff was very helpfull
Cons: It is difficult to find plugs to connect coffe machine etc.
When you stay at Brygga restaurant Bed & Breakfast in Moskenes, you'll be by the sea, within a 5-minute walk of Norwegian Fishing Village Museum and Stockfish Museum. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Guests may use a ferry terminal shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The accomodations were located in a good area, but had limited parking. The host was pleasant and was there when we arrived for a late check-in. The place was clean and had new wood flooring, but that's about all the good things I can say about this establishment.
Cons: First, this is not a bed and breakfast by any standaards; this is a hostel for druken fishermen. The room was small, the beds were uncomfortable, and the shower only had cold water. Lastly, we paid for $30 for breakfast and all they gave us was a few items in a small fridge to make a sandwiches in the morning. This place should be removed from bookings.com.
Pros: The staff were helpful and the location was great. Shared bathrooms were kept clean. The shower was tall with good pressure.
Cons: This is not really a bed and breakfast and not really a hostel in terms of what is provided. Breakfast is extra and quite expensive for what you get compared to other places. There is no kitchen so you cannot make your own food either. It is my opinion that either they should make this more like a hostel (it currently feels a bit this way with shared bathrooms and no double beds and not very comfortable/wide twin ones) or more like a hotel and provide more services.
Cons: Share bathroom
Pros: Very nice hotel in Å , great view over the whole village and beyond, the restaurant is very good and cosy. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and professional.
Cons: The rooms are a nice but a tad small, facilities are very clean but can get quite busy if the hotel is fully booked.
Pros: Excellent and very helpful staff, great location and nice, clean comfy and cosy rooms. Super clean and bathrooms spakling new. Right on the waters edge and above a restaurant. Common room for guests
Cons: Restaurant closed at 17:30pm, walked 40 minutes to Sørvågen and back for dinner, normally not a problem but it was a near gale. Perhaps include restaurant times at time of booking. Rooms and beds are cosy, warm and comfy but the width is about 70cm. Pushed two singles together.
Pros: The location, the staff, the bathroom and the atmosphere
Cons: No kitchen, no double bed but two simple beds. We had to manage the room
Pros: The bedroom was nice, beds a bit small but fine, really comfortables. The bathrooms were always clean, you almost think it is a private bathroom. In the common room there are some sofas and tables where you can have some time when the weather doesn't allow you to go out. There is also a common fridge, where you can leave your food (we didn't have breakfast included, so we used to buy things in the supermarket and leave them in this fridge to have for breakfast the next morning). It is really near to Moskenes port, only 10min away with the car.
Cons: Norway is expensive, so even though this bed and breakfast was the cheapest place we found, I think the price of it could be a bit lower, taking into account that you share bathroom and that it does not include the breakfast.
Pros: The room was not big, but quite bright with plenty of windows. Very nice to be surrounded by water and to hear the seagulls. Nice location next to traditional fishing village and impressive nature. It was more quiet than usual as the restaurant was closed.
Pros: The location and the atmosphere
Cons: Breakfast is very Nordic, with a lot of fish. Some cakes would be appreciated
Pros: The staff were extremely helpful, they bent over backwards for us as we were held up for hours behind a stuck lorry. Leena was calling me and giving us updates as we were stuck, she really went the extra mile!
Located in Moskenes, Lofoten Bed & Breakfast is on the Strip, within a 15-minute drive of Dagmar's Museum of Dolls and Toys and Stockfish Museum. Featured amenities include luggage storage and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Completely everything you want. Great location, great views, right in the heart of Reine. Breakfast was excellent too.
Pros: Because we left very early in the morning, we requested breakfast boxes to take to go. The boxes were in our room when we arrived and were filling and tasty! It was wonderful to have a private bathroom, and the check in process was simple and straightforward (note that there is no real person for reception, though; it's all done through email). The location in the heart of Reine is ideal, and especially close to the ferry pier.
Cons: The room and bathroom were a bit small, but still big enough for us to repack our gear after two weeks exploring Lofoten!
Pros: I like the hospitality of Agatha, the lady who manages the kitchen and do some receptionist work also (well, the place has no receptionist.) She was just so friendly, kind and accomodating.
Cons: I dont like that the place has no receptionist. Before we arrived, i already asked them for early check-in. We were informed to just wait in the place until our room will be ready. We were not able to get in in the apartment immediately when we arrived. We waited outside in an early chilly morning until we were able to contact them again and open the door for us.
Pros: The room is clean with modern design. The location is great.
Cons: The room is a bit small for three persons.
Cons: A puddle after a shower, which there is nothing to remove. But it’s not big problem.
Pros: Centrally located in Reine, walking distance about 2 min to restaurants.
Cons: It might be the bed and breakfast policy but through out stay of 1 week the towels are never automatically changed. I asked for change of fresh towels, it happened but without asking the towels stay the same. So does garbage bin and toilet paper, shampoo and soap. There is no automatic renewal.
Pros: Location was good and staff very helpful.
Cons: No complaints.
Pros: Great location. Spacious living room and kitchen. Breakfast was great.
Pros: The location, and view.
Cons: The wifi provided was as good as useless. It droped out and would not continue, even on just emails. No reception business model meant, there was no one to ask.
Pros: Great location. The whole town of Reine is located inside a very scenic area. Depending on the room you get you might or might not get a view. View from the common space of the first floor was stunning. Shared kitchen is a big plus, as food options are few and expensive there.
Cons: Had to change room for technical reason but owner handled the situation well by upgrading our room.
With a stay at Salteriet Hostel in Moskenes, you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Stockfish Museum and Norwegian Fishing Village Museum. Featured amenities include luggage storage, laundry facilities, and an elevator (lift). Guests may use a ferry terminal shuttle for a surcharge, and free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Beatyfull location
Cons: Everything was allright
Pros: Location View from lounge area, but the window was dirty
Cons: Thin walls View from our room
Pros: The rooms are quite big, the kitchen well equipped for self-catering and a lot of longe space to hang out.
Cons: The thrash bins in the communal kitchen and the bathrooms should be emptied more often or there should be a bigger bin - the thrash was constantly overflowing. Also, we were given a different room than the one on the photo - the room had a very small window near the floor - eventually it worked out ok because it reduced the amount of sunlight, but it was not the rooms we got allocated in booking.com (you can see your specific room there).
Pros: Located in one if not the most beautiful village of Lofoten. Very clean and traditional. Well equipped kitchen. Reasonably confortable beds.
Cons: Sub-optimal soundproofing makes you hear cracking floor and doors during the night. Not enough hot water for all the guests.
Pros: the kitchen wares and other facilities are great, especially for a slightly big group of travellers (family).
Pros: The location is great! And the surrounding amazingly beautiful! The room and bathroom were clean.
Cons: The soundproofing is low. We could hear people outside the room, but it was not that bad as we were in low season and the place was not busy. There are only 2 bathrooms.
Cons: We have been charged twice for one night (once through booking and once at arrival). Almost one month later and after a long series of emails and complains we have not been refunded yet. The most disappointing experience in Norway by far.
Pros: Well located hostel, room was nice, went there on a not very touristic period so I was almost alone in the whole salteriet, got lucky :)
Pros: Nice location.
Cons: Noisy rooms. Useless kitchen.
Pros: Excellent view
Cons: The bed is too small.
Sørvågen INN offers accommodation in Sørvågen, next to Sørvågvatnet lake. Hiking is popular in this area. Moskenes town centre is 2.6 km away. Certain rooms feature a seating area to relax in after a busy day. Sørvågen INN features free WiFi. The nearest airport is Leknes Airport, 38 km from Sørvågen INN.
Pros: Bed was comfortable and with the nice view from the window! Green area and lake around, it’s calm enough to have a good sleep. Place is very close to the ferry terminal so when you have a morning booking it’s good to stay here - just 5mins drive! Be careful as you have to take keys from the restaurant at the main road - Maren Anna. Parking lot is just besides the building. It’s nice to have a small kitchen for everyone’s use.
Cons: The smell from the bathroom was not nice - especially in the last room on the right.
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. Common facilities were ok. Free parking in front of the building. The location is very close to the Moskenes - Bodo ferry which was important to us.
Cons: The price of the accommodation is higher than other options for what it offers - not good value for money. The reception is at a restaurant several hundred meters away, but that's not a problem if you are prepared.
Pros: Twin room, good to have an extra bed to dump luggage on. Venetian blinds as well as curtains good to make room dark enough to sleep in. Hot water tank/drying room very small but fine. Shower pressure and temperature excellent. Food at Maren Anna restaurant was outstanding, but expensive
Cons: Bathroom was not that clean, limp fabric shower curtain could not contain water from spilling all over bathroom floor, which would have been fine if it had a wet room floor, or even without the pointless dividing ridge between shower and toilet floor. Also the toilet seat was very loose and slipped sideways.
Pros: Comfortable bed, adequate space in the room. Lots of natural light. Close to the ferry dock. Had a small community eating space with a small fridge for all the guests, a sink, a few dishes, a microwave and coffee pot.
Cons: Mostly quiet guests, but could hear the person snoring in the next room. Parking was spooky, because someone working in another part of the building blocked in two cars and refused to move her car. Bad when you need to catch a ferry. Had to walk all the way back to the restaurant where you pick up the keys to find out where it was legal to park overnight.
Pros: Very comfortable bed. Good enough place just for one night and nothing else.
Cons: Bathroom is low quality with bad smell of humidity. No information in the building that you need to check in the restaurant 200m away from the Inn.
Pros: Cheap , but meets all requirements, great Wi fi
Cons: The tap was left running in the bathroom, and leaking when I arrived
Pros: Location and value.
Pros: The environment is good!
Cons: It is better if the wipe cloth is on the floor of the toilet
Pros: Nothing at all
Cons: The Check-In is done in another site and there is no personnel on site. The bathroom equipments were cheap and old, and the little "warning" by e-mail doesn't excuse anything There was a lot of dust and hair and such under the bed (although high and easy to clean under..), but also on the carpet and the bed cover. The room is on the ground floor just in front of a hiking path and a pick-nick table, which intrudes our privacy if we do not close the curtains all the time and cause a lot of noise. The price is just prohibitive for the quality. The only reason they have guests is because there are too much tourists in the area for too few lodging. This is just outrageous.
Pros: I loved the stay at Sørvågen Inn, was hard to find tho, it's kinda hidden, but the price/quality comparsion is very good. Was expecting something very worse. Also Maren Anna beautiful place, good beer, personal and food! Can only reccomend 5/5
Cons: Breakfast would be nice ;)
