Pros: Really nice hotel with very friendly owners and staff. Nice bar and outside terrace to relax with a drink, the breakfast and the one evening meal I had were good. Sotres had a nice relaxed feeling about it, lots of walkers of different nationalities but we all managed to chat in Spanish.
Cons: Nothing negative to say about the hotel but the road up to Sotres was a bit dodgy on a motorbike in the rain.
Pros: A lovely place to stay in a lovely quiet village, a beautiful place with the mountains, good friends people and staff, as I'm a biker leave the bike in a safe place was almost but can say it was left in the car park it was safe also, would go back there to
Cons: There was nothing I didnt like
Pros: Lovely dining room. Excellent service.
Cons: Inadequate pillows.
Pros: Great location. Very friendly staff. Beautiful bar & breakfast/dining room.
Cons: Only thing that was a bit disappointing was the breakfast: no hot option such as eggs. No cereal. Only pre packed Muffin / Biscuit or Ham. However there was freshly made toast.
Pros: Exceptional and outstanding services received by Manuel. Room and bathroom were spotless clean room. Fresh and delicious food served at breakfast and dinner time.
Cons: The incredibly rude and patronizing approach received by of one of the waitress who spoke to us as if we were second class citizens.
Pros: Perfect location and very clean rooms.
Cons: Possibly because it was towards the end of the season there were a lot of things on the menu which were not available.

Pros: The perfect hostal for exploring Picos. I will definitely be back again.
Pros: Comfortable bed, excellent shower, good breakfast, friendly family.
Cons: Soap was empty in bathroom
Pros: In the heart of the very pretty and traditional mountain village. The dorm room was generous in size and in great condition. The bathroom was also in perfect condition and spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A very welcome place after a long walk in the mountains. You can get the train up to the village from Poncebos but we chose to walk through the spectacular gorge.
Pros: Good value for money, really welcoming host/staff. Great backdrop in a quaint village
Cons: No floor mat in the bathroom and it got wet very easily
Pros: simple hostel without much comfort. Friendly and cosy
Pros: The location is really good if you want to go hiking and enjoy the mountains. The owner put a lot of effort into it. Everything was clean and really modern.
Cons: Kitchen is only open for one hour and there isn‘t a common area. The owner just speaks spanish. One shower and one toilet is a little bit to less for 10 people.
With a stay at Taberna de Tresviso in Tresviso, you'll be 12.2 mi (19.6 km) from Picos de Macondíu and 14.1 mi (22.6 km) from Cares Trail. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Absolutely beautiful accommodation set on a mountain. Very friendly staff who welcomed us. We ate in the restaurant. Limited but good food.
Cons: Long drive to get to Tresviso! It's very remote.
Pros: Everything. The location was the most idyllic, spectacular and perfect.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect.
Pros: Outstanding location, friendly staff, very comfortable bed and good local food. Being in the mountains at the end of the only road felt very special, we hope to be able to return next year.
Pros: Beautiful location. The dinner was simple and delicious.
Cons: The sat nav postcode does not take you to the place. Just use Tresviso as the destination and not the postcode.
Pros: Amazing location! The staff, local patrons — everything about this place was great. I wish I could’ve stayed longer! Highly recommend!
Pros: An amazing remote location yet with high quality facilities and helpful staff.
Cons: Drive in was a bit daunting. Government has upgraded infrastructure but locals treat it as a bit of a farmyard. National park spending has been used to promote walks but they have not been brought or kept up to a reasonable standard.
With a stay at Hotel Balneario La Hermida in Penarrubia, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Sotama Visitor Center and Millennial Chestnuts of Cillorigo de Liébana. Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Great breakfast. Beautiful location.
Cons: Staff really need to smile a bit more. Breakfast waiters excluded.
Pros: Amazing spa ... great hotel set in a amazing area ...
Pros: Absolutely nothing, the experience was completely disappointing
Cons: • Hidden fees • Unpolite and unfriendly Service • Very poor food • Old installations needing renovation
Pros: The breakfast was above average.
Cons: The toilet seat was unconfortable. The taps were outdated and were stuck in some cases. The drapes got wrapped in the open window and it was hard to unwrap them. My companion wanted to have an ozonotherapy session, 2 different persons at the balnearium desk gave us different information about it and finally a 3rd person simply told us the machine was out of order. Some parts of the balnearium are not properly cared for, namely the wet souna. It is quite uncomfortable for me - being used to do sauna in Germany - to use sauna with bathing suit. You should consider allowing nudity in the Sauna. If necessary define specific hours for that or even specific hours just for ladies. You will have to do that if you want to have customers from the North of Europe. Also in the dry sauna there was a bucket with perfumed water but I could not find the hot rocks over which I should pour the water to produce vapor. Also there should be towels for the sauna so we do lie directly on wood.
Pros: Facilities, location, food and service
Cons: Room wasn’t really a 4 star quality
Pros: The balnearium was fantastic, the water was warm and a pleasant experience.
Cons: The price of the food and drinks were far too expensive especially when the food is mediocre at best. Desk staff were pleasant and helpful but one member of the staff serving in the bar was the cause of a very unpleasant experience which has now resulted in me having a negative attitude toward this particular hotel. The obvious lack of managerial representation at the hotel is what probably caused certain staff to be unaccountable for their unprofessional attitudes and subsequent lack of actions concerning a certain misdeed. When a manager doesn't care about things, certain members of staff don't care either. But their were other members of staff who were totally professional and pleasant without fault.

Pros: Bruno is a very welcoming host. We learned much about the local culture and wildlife. The village is very quiet. Wonderful walks.
Pros: Beautiful place, breathtaking views, very genuine staff, nice vibe
Cons: Rooms are a bit dark (but that is the case in all traditional building in the area)
Pros: Had a wonderful stay here in May. We loved the tiny traditional inn and the beautiful old farming village of Cicera. Very comfortable room with outstanding views, good shower, tostadas and great coffee for breakfast. Bruno made sure we had everything we needed and told us where to find the best walks....and they are spectacular. He is a really friendly guy who speaks fairly good English. There is a lively local taverna serving good food. The Escuela was a special place and we look forward to visiting again.
Pros: Owner very pleasent, nothing too much trouble. Setting in the village was excellent. The room was very clean, bed very comfortable and had a great ensuite. Obviously geared for walkers and for that use it is ideal. The hostel is set in absolutely stunning scenery on the pilgrim routes. So all in all cannot fault the prices and what's on offer.
Cons: It could do with a little updating but saying that it's a very old building. Breakfast needs more than the toast and jam and the owner could offer more.
Pros: Situated in a beautiful hamlet
Pros: Location, Querky accommodation
Cons: Sparse Breakfast
Pros: Personal service and feeling (like being at home), nice mountain village and extremely friendly owner. Breakfast was of good quality.
Cons: Breakfast variety and quantity could be a bit larger.
Pros: Stunning location in a fabulous mountain village, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Great value.
