Pros: The setting was lovely in a large garden with plenty of sunloungers tables etc. Pool was very welcoming after a day out in the hot sun. Nice breakfast. Good to have a fridge available.
Cons: We had to climb to the top floor to our room but at least. we had air conditioning. Perhaps needs a better system with the gate locks as were locked in on our departure after already handing in our key fob.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed our stay! The owner couple Saskia and Martin (and even their dog) just fantastic. They are very welcoming, warm and helpful people. Our room was huge, clean with a big comfortable bed. The breakfast was really nice with fruits, bread, cheese, ham, homemade jams, drinks and croissants. There is very nice garden. You can sit here to admire the nature and silence and drink a glass of wine. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Saskia and Martin!
Cons: Nothing except we had to leave.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Le Prieure was delightful, with beautiful garden viewed from the breakfast room. Our room was spacious, comfortable and attractive. Our hosts were charming and helpful, and booked us into an excellent restaurant.
Cons: We would have preferred a refrigerator with a freezer.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very large rooms with high level of comfort. Old priory converted into B&B oozes charm and has wonderful gardens. Near to the town of Souilliac and close to all tourist activities, including great restaurants. Saskia and Martin are you hosts and are lovely people, with plenty of time to chat and direct to to great outings. Great breakfast and very quiet rooms.
Cons: Nothing to not like, however, it is some way out of town so a hire car is a must with local taxi service not available at all times. You need a car to really enjoy the local sights and restaurants.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hosts, excellent english spoken, spotlessly clean, good breakfast, private parking, very tranquill. Nice pool to relax after long walks.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great position and such friendly hosts. Nice to have a pool and such lovely gardens with plenty of space to have lunch, coffee with friends or just read a book. Visiting friends were rather jealous about the gem that we had found.
Cons: Couldn’t get the aircon to work but, to be honest, I didn’t bother to ask as it was cool enough without it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful hosts, great location and just a splendid experience overall - just wonderful. I will be back for sure!

Pros: Cottage in country side. Lovely breakfast.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The owners were very friendly and extremely helpful and gave us good advice on places to visit. The room was clean very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely and served outside beside the pool as the weather was very nice during our stay. The B&B is in a quiet rural location but it it is quite close to Sarlat and quite a few nice castles and gardens. There are a number of restaurants quite close to the accommodation and the owners were happy to make reservations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I highly recommand this place. The standard is higher than I expected. - Thomas and his family are lovely and helpful, - there is a chimney, - the bathtube is amazing, - there is plenty of room, - The breakfast if complete with local products, REAL croissant, REAL pain au chocolate, etc... - It is in the countryside. So there is no noise at all! Thanks to that, I had an excellent sleep. I didn't know it before I book my room, but they have a Hoobit Room and a SPA in the same site! I think it worth checking (Samsaget Hobbit House)

Overview Reviews
Located in Salignac-Eyvignes, Domaine des 3 Vallée is in a rural location, within a 15-minute drive of Louis Roque Distillery and Souillac Library. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Our hosts were delightful and most welcoming. AnnMarie even helped us with our baby in the mornings allowing us to enjoy our breakfast-something of a rarity these days! The setting is tranquil and the buildings have been beautifully restored in the period style.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location inside the walls is great and Connie had a parking space out front. Rothenburg is a fun place to visit but the buildings are all old so do not expect to find a Ritz. The Pension is more than adequate and having a kitchen is a must for us as we are in Europe two months touring. I would stay again. Curt
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: remote, crazy beautiful, exactly what we were looking for. our little fairy land tucked away in land time has forgotten and is rediscovering.
Cons: Wi-Fi was only strongin the main house
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location in а small village. very pleasant and helpful hosts. Great breakfast
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The pool was a bonus and very nice. Beautiful surroundings Very peaceful
Cons: Letting our Sat Nav take us down a dirt track for nearly 4 miles. Not really doable without 4 wheel drive. Don't let this put you off, go into Souillac and head towards Salignac on the D15 then D62 and turn off on the D47 very simple and a real road.
6.8 Good
Pros: Quirky little place, ideal for a couple of nights to break a long journey, lovely homemade preserves for breakfast
Cons: Single beds in quadruple room more suited to children.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The gite - lots of space with a separate bedroom, kitchen and sitting area. The private, big terrasse with bbq with a lovely view. The owners, the area, the peace and quiet, the wildlife, the breakfast.
Cons: Clear information from Booking.com relating to the accommodation. Breakfast, towels and bedding was included. On the information on our booking form it said it wasn’t. We were told we had paid 25% deposit but we had not apparently.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Do you look for a small piece of heaven on earth? Don't look any further! The staggering piece of architecture that was all done by the owners is overlooking the surrounding valleys and hillsides creating a tranquil nest. You feel like you are visiting a hundreds of years old manor with with all the comfort of old and contemporary. The owners are showing that good old excellent hospitality that you immediately feel like visiting some much prefered far relatives. Mornings you are woken by smooth singing of the birds and the heartwarming smell of the homemade fresh sweet bread or cakes, and all the different jams of the house.
Cons: Wifi connection is poor and only available in the main building. (But that doesn't matter here!)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic hideaway gite, delightful owner, fab stay
Le Pavillon Saint-Martin - Souillac - Building

9.1 Excellent (589 reviews)
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hotel itself was beautiful and tastefully furnished. Room was of a good size and clean. Great location, overlooking a small square with a bar. Breakfast was very nice, consisting of local produce. This hotel was a good find and good value.
Cons: When we stayed the weather was not too hot so fans worked well. Might struggle on a really hot day though without AC.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely friendly and accommodating hosts. Location was excellent and the best possible place in the center of town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic hotel in a great location. Very central. Lovely big room for a family of 4. Comfortable beds. Nice big bathroom with fluffy towels and toiletries. Great breakfast.
Cons: Would have been nice to have some complimentary water in the room or tea and coffee making facilities.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: OK
Cons: Served stewed coffee, not told about 'proper coffee'
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely setting and owners were great, always willing to help.
Cons: We arrived in the middle of a heatwave, air con in the rooms would have made the stay perfect.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Everyone was very friendly. Love the location of the hotel. Room was perfect size for two. It just gets a bit hot in the room at night, but other than that everything was great, including the nice breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was lovely, catering to all tastes and the location is just stunning, right in the middle of the old town. The room was spacious and comfortable with a view overlooking the ruined church. The owners and their staff could not be more helpful, The parking facilities were first class and only a few yards from the hotel. 3rd time stayed at this hotel and will not be the last, Do not consider staying anywhere else when in that area. Centrally located for the Dordogne and the Lot areas We were there in the hottest week of the year but we had an air-conditioning unit in the room to make our stay comfortable.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful building with gorgeous lobby right in the heart of town. The hosts were wonderful and were welcoming and accommodating. Room was small but lovely. There may have been other rooms that were larger, but this was perfect for me as a solo traveller. Breakfast might be a little more than other hotels but they had a wide assortment of items and excellent coffee.
Cons: Absolutely nothing. Would highly recommend.

Cons: We only stayed three days!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was super!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a fabulous find! Catherine was so welcoming and the room was perfect - beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. Le Fleuraguet is in a lovely location close to Martel, Rocamadour and other sites - we went canoeing from Saint-Sozy, right at the end of the road. Breakfast was delicious, served in Catherine’s beautiful kitchen. We would definitely recommend this B&B, it’s perfect for other couples exploring the Dordogne.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Warm and helpful welcome from Catherine and Ray in a delightful town. Wifi was good and access to a small shared sitting room for tea and coffee was a bonus. Very quiet location but a short, easy walk in to town.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful place ..a must see .. real Historic Chateaux and beautifully kept.
Cons: But be ready to carry you luggage up a spiral stone staircase ....fabulous ..but a bit hard going for older bones !
6.8 Good
Pros: Second visit to the Chateau. Prior 3 years ago. New female owner lovely and very welcoming. Breakfast good although included in room cost on the previous visit. Room tidy and a good sleep.
Cons: Male owner not so welcoming, said hello but otherwise not wanting to engage in conversation. The opposite of his lovely wife. The once beautiful gardens are run down and in need of maintenance. The male owner needs to put some gardening clothes on and start trimming hedges. The chateau is beautiful but has lost the special feeling that brought us back for a second visit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This was a wonderful experience from start to finish.Your hostess Cecile, whose family have occupied this wonderful house for generations, was gracious and friendly, and, she went the extra mile to sate the hunger of 4 travellers, whose night of arrival sadly coincided with the closure of the restaurant over the road. We two couples shared the Rose suite which was beautifully furnished with large and comfortable beds. What a splendid sleep we all had. Our tasty and creatively prepared breakfast was served on a marvellous terrace by a lovely member of staff who added to the ambiance of a memorable all too brief one night stay. By the way if you don't enjoy the views across the lake from the garden then I guess there is no pleasing you.
Cons: Now this is a tough one!! We have thought long and hard and the only thing we can think of is maybe availability of some sort of tee/coffee making facility in the bedroom might be nice, but maybe your hosts would not want to take the risk of the room furniture being stained or damaged so in all honesty were happy to go without!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cecile (owner) and Elodie could not have been nicer and more welcoming. It is still a family home although vast and we were welcomed like family. Very tastefully modernised and not spoiled.
Cons: Nothing
6.3 Good
Pros: Conveniently located near to Brive set in tranquil location overlooking a lake. Beautiful garden area to relax. Delightful hosts who were very obliging.
Cons: 85 steps of a steep spiral staircase to get to our bedroom ‘Orchidee’. You need to be fit and active as it is a long climb and difficult with luggage. This needs to be made clear as some less able people would really struggle. Weather was hot and room quite stuffy but a fan was provided which made it more bearable. Servicing of the room was not automatically carried out, in fact after two days without a service, we had to ask to get clean towels and bins empty etc. This was done on day 3 but only one lot of toiletries provided for the 4 day stay so make sure to bring your own shampoo and soap. Paying in cash only is an inconvenience and potentially a security issue as the room does not have a secure box or safe. Whilst a unique experience to stay in such an old castle, from our perspective it was not what we were expecting for the price and based on the reviews made of the property.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff. Beautiful castle. Beautiful setting. Excellent breakfast. Clean rooms. Modern day bathroom. Impossible to be The Ritz because it’s a castle. Great value.
Cons: Bed not comfortable.
9.5 Excellent

9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old château with all the mod cons. Plenty of room with lovely decor. Massive kitchen, dining and salon. Terrasse outside with beautiful views of the lake. Lovely hosts. Got to see wild boars!
Cons: Nothing really
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is an amazing chateau; beautifully furnished and in a delightful area close to the lake. Made very welcome and breakfasts on the terrace were very memorable. The latitude and longitude on booking.com is not accurate - but if you get to village you can't miss the chateau opposite the restaurant. Lovely and cool inside in hot weather.
Cons: You have to climb a minimum of 50 steps to get to your room. It's well worth it - but bear it in mind!

Pros: The food was excellent, especially the breakfast.. Very quiet, pretty setting/scenery. Nice rooms with shutters. Friendly staff.
Cons: a bit more remote than expected and had some difficulty finding it. No bottled water in rooms.
7.0 Good
Pros: Lovely two start hotel the food was lovely but absolutely extraordinary expensive for what it is. €11 for a cold buffet breakfast was ridiculous. Burger and chips €22 ridiculous and the À la cart meal while lovely was €29 and parts of it was cold. Additionally the cheapest bottle of wine was €22. This is not what we expected for a small two star bed-and-breakfast.
Cons: The food was ridiculously expensive as discussed above. €11 for breakfast which was cold buffet, €22 for the cheapest bottle of wine burger and chips was €22 not good value at all.
8.3 Excellent

Pros: This is a little gem. We were greeted warmly and went straight to the pool, which was ideal after a long drive. The village was pretty and peaceful. We had the family room and it was absolutely huge. The dinner was really excellent quality. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back if we pass through the area again.
Cons: We would have appreciated some cheaper options for dinner as there are not many options to eat in the village.

Pros: We have stayed at this hotel many times and find the rooms lovely, the restaurant food is very good and make our stay one to look forward to. We are able to leave very early without too much disturbance and would stay again.
Cons: Everything was good.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A comfortable hotel with helpful staff. The continental breakfast is very good.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent restaurant and it wasvery busy the night we stayed -in a town with lots of other good restaurants Lovely breakfast too . Would have liked another night to explore area
7.5 Good
Pros: The restaurant attached was amazing
Cons: Reception. There was one lady who I think didn’t like us. She had a sour face I think she was the manageress. The rest were brilliant and especially the guy who sort of managed the garage, pool and the drinks around the pool.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Restaurant was amazing typical French quisine lovely food great wine
Cons: No air con
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location in Souillac and good for town access, supermarkets, other restaurants and the speciality Distillery. Easy access to many tourist sites such as Rocamadour, Martel, and Château Milandes. The motorway is minutes away (1hr30 Limoges airport), and only 1hr40 from Bergerac airport following scenic drive beside R.Dordogne. Train station also nearby for a quick visit to Cahors. Rooms a good size; all have balconies overlooking either the pool or the lovely old rooftops of the town and wooded hills beyond. Rooms nicely appointed as well as very clean and fans available for when weather very hot. Bar and patio seating opposite a historical ‘lavoir’. Continental breakfasts good; including fresh fruits. Restaurant serves excellent food at prices to suit most pockets; local wine good too. Staff friendly and always helpful. And it was really good to have access to a swimming pool. Few 3* hotels offer that! A real pleasure to stay at Le Quercy.
Cons: Didn’t like other guests smoking on their balcony- the smell pervades rooms of fellow guests: the same non-smoking policy applies to all! Thought breakfast a little overpriced especially as hot drinks self-serve from a machine although coffee was good.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is very traditional and a little old fashioned but that has some charm. The restaurant is good, if very traditional, and opens late on a Sunday which can be unusual in France.
Cons: A little old fashioned. Decor is clean but dated.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great surroundings and hotel
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful room and pool
Cons: No red wine at the Quercy bar. The barman made everyone drink white, surely he could have got some from the restaurant.

7.0 Good
Pros: The locality to the town. The staff were friendly.
Cons: The secured paid parking was too tight and they wanted your car keys in case they had to move it, but if they damaged it, not their fault! The socket which held the shower head was missing, hence had to hold it whilst trying to wash! The street light was directly into the room, blind was not 'black out'! Had to walk through one of the dining areas to get to our room.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Updated room in an old auberge. Very good restaurant. Friendly staff. Central location for exploring Dordogne Region.
Cons: No lift.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: lovely well maintained old building right in the centre of a nice little town. secure offstreet parking extremly good restaurant on site serving local produce/specialities. Foie gras three ways highly recommended as a starter ......Saddle of lamb one of the best I have had anywhere
Cons: Unfortunately, the logis has no ground floor rooms, so a bit of an expedition up the stairs on crutches. but not really a dislike
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable bed
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: The hotel is centrally located in a quiet road near the old part of town. Our room was spacious and reasonably comfortable. The dining room in the hotel was full on a Monday night in April, and the quality of the meal was very good: mainly local & regional fare, accompanied by a good choice of local wines (we followed the sommelier's recommendation, which was ideal for our menu choice)
Cons: The hotel is very dated, and appears in need of refurbishment. The breakfast was not particularly good value: why do French hotel breakfasts always offer a wide choice of pastries & carbohydrate based food, yet lack healthy options (eg in this case, muesli)?
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Only passing through Souillac on a long journey but had a comfortable stay. Good dinner and breakfast. Great location close to the main town.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent Food for Dinner in the restaurant
Cons: n/a
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Room was pretty big, new and very clean. Quality of the stay was definitely beyond our expectations regarding the price. Would recommend to go there for sure.
Cons: No elevator, but understandable as it is an ancient (but super clean) two stories building.

7.0 Good
Pros: The room was very clean and recently refurbished, as was the bathroom. No air con but there was a ceiling fan so not too bad on a very hot day.
Cons: We received a message saying our room would be available from 3ish in the afternoon, we arrived to find the hotel closed until 17:30, it was Bastille Day! There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room either which after a six hour drive was a little irritating!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The welcome on arrival was very friendly and the bedroom was roomy. There was a swimming pool adjacent to the car parking area which was well kept and clean. The dinner in the restaurant was excellent and again the staff were happy and friendly. Breakfast was another very good meal which set us up for our onward journey.
Cons: Nothing

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Small guest house in an old building of the village. Traditional style, very simple but enjoyable. Staff is super welcoming, nice and accommodating. Our quadruple room was big enough for the 4 of us, with kind of two small rooms. The bathroom was large with a big window. Very quiet, good comforting breakfast!
Cons: You can get a bit of noise from the other rooms as this is an old house, but this is normal and expected in this type of guest house. Nothing else really...
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Home -like very charming, in a very good location near food, shopping, bank, etc. Good breakfast also.
4.3 Okay
Pros: nothing much
Cons: We didn't really like the spot, difficult to find. Breakfast was just about acceptable. The owner when clearing the bread noticed we had't eaten the baguette said he would put it in the freezer for the next day. Bed was not made
5.8 Okay
Pros: The room was cute but would be cramped for four people. The decor was nice, the towels good and the bed comfy
Cons: I couldn't sleep because the guest upstairs snored so loudly and it felt as though he was in my room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay at Coeur de Souillac! Don was a wonderful host & we felt really welcome. Our room was clean & had everything we needed & breakfast was delicious. We would love to return!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The location and friendly staff
Cons: The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Don was a great friendly host. It was very central which was great as we were able to park the car and easily stroll around the corner to enjoy a meal. A lovely en suite room with a super French bed.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly host, very spacious room. Clean, all facilities. American host, but typical French breakfast with fresh jam (for the enthusiasts, not my cup of tea as a savoury man). Souillac is a nice small town, quite lively with gags during this period. The surroundings are very beautiful, as well to the east (including Rocamadour) as to the west (including Lascaux).
Cons: I had the upper room, which can be very hot I suppose. I slept with the windows open (at the street side and in the bathroom), but I don't know if that's enough when temperatures rise as much as a couple of days after I left (I read they reached 42° C). There's als a ventilator and a mobile airco, maybe that will do. You have to be able to do some steps too.
7.5 Good
Pros: We both thoroughly enjoyed talking with Don, a great host. The continental breakfast was good, ample, all I wanted.
Cons: Just a bit hard to find, but that's part of the charm.
