Cons: Because of recent snow the drive was extremely muddy but Dave worked tirelessly to make it better. There was plenty of room but beds were not extremely comfortable.

Cons: For us personally, the bed was too soft. But probably everyone has different standards. Also the bed sheet always slide from the mattress.

Pros: The owners were really friendly and helpful. Room was very nice. We loved letting the kids play in the snow right outside the room. We saw plenty of deer and fed them.
Cons: Just running out of necessities. We stayed 6 nights and needed more coffee/toilet paper/trash bags for our stay. Kitchenette didn’t have enough utensils/cookware. However we asked for more coffee/trash bags and of course we got more and they had extra utensils. These are minor things but the only things that could be improved.

Cons: The room was a little bit cold. I think it was expected as the temperature outside was close to zero degrees.

Locked out of the lodge the next afternoon. Had to call for someone to come let us the building. Choices for the continental breakfast very limited.

Cons: There was no air-conditioning. This is understandable at such high elevation. But almost all the window were sealed shut. It was 51 in the morning but the temp in the room was nearly 80. We could get no ventilation. Give me working windows!

Flat screen TV with free videos and comfy couch. You could stay here a week and fish and hunt. We had an excellent stay. I was somewhat concerned that there was no A/C but there was a fan and the room cooled off very nice.

We ended up paying over 100.00 more than last year plus the toaster was broken, the DVR didn’t work, the kitchen sink dripped all the time, the bathroom sink drained slow and no clean towels were given to us. I’m sad to say that we will not be coming back a third year. Way too much money for what we got.
