good location, clean room, free parking, free wi-fi, breakfast included, microwave and refrigerator in the room Wi-Fi signal a little weak in my room, on/off connection
Ease of check-in, open & ample parking, am breakfast, great location.
Easy access, large room, comfy beds Breakfast was not so good. Egg yolk in boiled egg was overcooked and almost green.
Friendly service, clean and functional rooms at an affordable price for the location within walking distance of the convention center and old town.
A quick walk to the Pasadena Convention Center, old town, and parade route. A half-block from Whole Foods. Mattress way past its useful life. Breakfast bar is all sugary and processed food.
quick procedures, thick walls, i.e. no noise from neighbouring rooms breakfast monotonous
Breakfast was ok. Dowtown at 5 minutes by feet. During the night, the noise of the air conditioner of the neighbor room was too loud.
Location to rose bowl Room was a little dated and not super clean.
Our stay there was great, other than the fact that TWO TIMES the cleaning staff opened the door, without even knocking, prior to checkout time, the first of which was 9:30am while my boyfriend and I were still in bed, asleep.
Room's were clean and the beds comfortable. They advertise a pool, but its more of a large bathtub, don't expect to go swimming. As mentioned in previous post, the staff is not friendly..
It was cheap in price. One of the housekeepers stole a water jug from my room. When I asked where it was, the hotel did not try to help or willing to pay for my stolen item that was worth $10. I will never stay there again!!!!¿¿
Its location. Towels weren't in the bathroom.
It was available and conveniently priced for when I purchased the room. I do wish the lights were all working and had a coffee maker- but all things considered, it's fine.
This guest did not leave comments about this hotel.
Location on the main street Do not provide breakfast. I have to drive 10 mins to Taco Bell for breakfast.
The access to a television My wife noticed one of the pillow sheets had two small sized dot shaped stains.

Scary looking area of town. Had bars on my room window that faced the alley. But I MUST say the employee who helped me Friday afternoon was excellent! Definitely no frills here but it was acceptable. See above.
We were over charged for this type of hotel. $----per night than normal rate
There was a huge HDTV in the room with cable. Room was a decent size. At least it was cheap. The room smelled like cat urine. The shower had a permanent rubber mat in it that was at one time clear, but had become mostly black. Luckily we had flip flops to wear in the shower. Room did not get cleaned during the day.
Old and not updated. Clean and alright for the price.
Nice small refrigerator, nice flat screen TV, fairly clean. The price was very good, but I got what I paid for and next time I"m going to pay a little more and get a little more hotel. I can no longer say I have never been to a hotel that prominently displays a sign in the office window forbidding prostitution. Not that I've stayed in hotels that allow prostitution... this just has never been an issue. This is not a family friendly hotel. The room was extremely small, the beds were doubles (not queens), the bathroom was teeny, and we kept tripping over ourselves the entire time. This hotel is apparently ran by a family on a very tight budget. We were supplied with two bath towels and two washcloths (for four people); the single hand towel turned out to be the bath mat. The toilet paper was so thin it stuck to anything once it got wet (... you see the problem), and the only toiletries provided were two small cakes of soap that broke once you touched them. The night clerk (to whom I spoke to through a plate glass window with a speaker, where the "no prostitution" sign was posted) apparently was on loan from Disneyland's Snow White adventure--he was Grumpy. It was only 9:30 pm when I checked in; I'd hate to see how he treated a late check-in. I stood outside shouting into the speaker and ended up spelling words so he could understand. He freaked his shiz when he found out I had children. Again, not a family friendly place.
Clean and spacious room. Good value for money. Breakfast area was small and options limited.
Just an ordinary motel - nothing bad but nothing extraordinary good as well. A quiet place and clean bed to sleep - just what I needed. A coffee machine is a pleasant bonus ) Despite the fact that it was the cheapest motel in North Hollywood I could find it's still overpriced - like all accomodation in LA. Wi-fi signal isn't so good.
Everything was great... The size, the bathroom, the noise was non-existent, a fridge and microwave.. The check out time is NOT noon as stated on the bill, email, receipt, etc. It is 11am. I even asked when I got there to make sure and was told even by staff that check out is noon. I was out most of the night with my girlfriend and got back around 3am, went to sleep at 4am. I woke up to a phone call from staff at 10:45am that 11am is check out. I checked the receipt and told him it's clearly printed that it's noon. He said "no" that the maids need time to clean the rooms and check out time is always 11am. This is the same guy that when my girlfriend arrived to the hotel before me refused to let her check in (despite both our names were a part of the guests and later got resolved by the next guy's shift. (She sat in her car waiting and the next employee was happy to let her check in and doesn't know why the previous guy didn't.) This is the only experience that I'm really pissed at is that I paid for a given time and that it was abruptly changed without warning. (And through no fault of my own).
No ice or vending machines.
Neat and spacious room. Parking space was not clean.
Overpriced. Pictures don't reflect the rooms. It's definitely false advertisement
There was a bus line out front, so you had a safe way off if you choose not to rent a car. Being safe in an unknown city is everything. And once I learned the area if was really nice. That it had no microwave, or fridge. And not enough outlet. These few thing would have made for a better stay,
Location seemed safe. I love the painted walls and ceilings. Check-in was quick and easy. Road noise. Cheap, rough towels. Uncomfortable bed. Single-ply recycled toilet paper thin enough to see through. Tight parking areas with too few parking spaces made me wish there was food closer to the hotel so I could walk instead of risk losing my parking space. Soda machine was sold out of most beverages and never refilled while I was there. No snack vending machine. Bottom sheet was a flat sheet, not a fitted sheet, so it kept coming off the corners of the bed.
Staff seemed to want to take care of problem . My bed had a bunch of what looked like dead skin from someone's feet/head. There was a dead ant and hair in the other. Pillows had dried blood spots (alá bed bug). It was a horrible experience. Neck and neck with the worst place I've stayed at save front desk.
Nothing It is used as residential living and their tenants were questionable. There was trash left in the hallways. There was roaches in the bathroom. No clear direction on how to get to the second floor. Their idea of a dinning area had folding metal chairs and plastic tables. Not worth staying there again.
The only good thing about this hotel is the location. There's plenty of shops and places to eat nearby, and it's located near two major freeways. They do offer free wifi, but that is something that I expect at all hotels these days, so I don't really consider it a plus. The connection seemed to run fine with the little that I used my phone during my short stay. I was very disappointed with the hotel seeing that they do not offer what you pay for. I called an hour before arriving to confirm my reservation and the man who answered was not very professional. I was about to hang up thinking I dialed the wrong number when he answered with a rude "Hello". When I arrived, the lady at the desk was not welcoming at all. She didn't even want to let me check in early, even though I had gotten the okay to do so (with an extra $20 fee) from the man over the phone. I never got a smile or thank you from that lady. Even though there was an obvious language barrier, a smile or nod would have been enough. They still have not upgraded their check in system. I was required to pay a $30 deposit - cash only! - and was given a regular key (not the swiping, more secure credit card types). Once I got to my floor, I had to take a guess at what room was mine since the room number was missing from the door. The room itself is terribly outdated and dirty in appearance. The carpet had many stains, including a large bleach stain (who knows what spilled there..), and the blanket felt grimy. I didn't even bother lifting up the sheets. I laid on some of my extra clothes instead. The bathroom appeared to be clean, but still was outdated with rusty faucets. Looks like nothing has been done to it since it was built in the 70s. Worst of all was the non-functioning air conditioning unit. It turned on just fine, but it never gave me the cool air I set it for. Even after giving it a chance to kick in, the air still came out too warm. Although it did help with some circulation, especially since it was quite humid that day, the vents were stuck pointing up to the ceiling. I had to move the round wooden table directly over the vents in order for it to force some of the air downwards. That was the only way I felt any relief. It didn't feel like the hotel's management would be responsive if I complained or asked for a different room, so I didn't bother. I checked out after only four hours of being there. Had I paid $50 or less dollars for the room, I may have expected to see what I saw. But for $84 a night, much more is expected. I've stayed in hotels in Pasadena, just 5-10 minutes to the north for about the same price, and received much better service and better quality rooms.
When I first arrived, the manager handled a confrontation situation with drunk occupants rapidly and restored order. Also, the renovation of the hotel was very well done compared to many budget hotels I have stayed at. Complements to a management staff that cares. I find very little of that these days. I would recommend staying at this hotel if you need to go to Pasadena.
The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable..the breakfast was a little sparse and the juice was room temperature. Would of loved a fruit tray and ice cold juice, especially for the price of the rooms. I was really pissed I had to pay a $30 early check in fee for a room that was already available. I can see them doing that if none of the rooms were not clean and they had to call someone to clean. I had been driving for three hours on no sleep from the night before. I asked the staff to tell me what the fee was for. I was told " I dont know but its been that way for 5years"! Check in time was 2pm!!!!!!! ARE U SERIOUS!!!! If I make a reservation I want my flipping room now no matter what time I arrive. I felt the man at the desk was rude by passing me off to someone else when I started questioning him about the fee and the check in / check out times. I don't stay in hotels so I don't understand how it works. In by 2pm out by 11am, that not a full 24hours!!!..other than that my trip was a pleasant one.
Typical no-frills motel. Bed was comfortable and room was reasonable. Refrigerator didn't work and wifi is so bad as to be unusable.
Manager lacks customer service skills. He is rude and condescending. Whatever happened with "the customer is always right"? Breakfast had very limited options.
Distance from the business I needed to conduct was close. Surrounded by roses...lots and lots of roses. TV-Yes, Cable - Yes, remote-yes (with deposit) Air conditioning in room made the perfect amount of noise to drown out the TV sound and occasional police siren in the area. I really enjoyed having to wear my socks all the time because the rug felt like wool. I learned that had I spent $15 more a night I could have been at a hotel nearby with far better ratings. Do your homework! Pool out of service, was not mentioned until after I checked in. Poor WiFi service- it kept going out The "Non Smoking" room smelled heavily of smoke 3 towels in the room - that's it! Tables and chairs were extremely dirty - PLS do not sit on them. 3 items plugged into one extension cord - looks very dangerous The freezer part of the mini fridge seems to have never been defrosted- more ice than space in the freezer section. So much trash around the exterior. Parking area could use more lighting at night.
The bldg was being remodled, The AC unit did not work. Staff was not available after 8pm.
Location, price, cleanliness, staff was nice. Really nice bathroom. And the toiletries were cruelty free! Thumbs up! No alarm clock in room. Wish there was a coffee maker. Plastic chairs and cheap table were odd.
Convenient to my meetings the next day. The images of the hotel on the website were far nicer than anything I saw in my one night stay. There was a dog in the next room that had been left alone and barked for a couple of hours until the resident came back to the room. There was no iron in the room. I had to call down to the desk and it took three phone calls to finally get one sent to my room. The continental breakfast shown on the website was a complete fabrication. The real breakfast was a coffee urn and a few pastries wrapped in plastic.
My stay was overall good A little old fashion and sheets had cigarette burns on themn
Staff was friendly, and the price was very reasonable. When I checked in, everything was a little hectic. And there were frightening noises throughout the night. Not that I felt I was in danger, but I didn't feel particularly safe either.
Next to the freeway, decent price, and there is free HBO. There was one staff member that my friends and I felt very comfortable around. He tried to start a conversation with us about where we're from just to end it with that where we are from are where a lot of "weirdos" are. Maybe he was trying to be funny but we felt like he was making us feel inferior. We asked for a refund on the WiFi (BTW It does not work!!!) and we had to go in and out of room three times to finally give him everything he needed to finally refund us and also after he has helped everyone else. Definitely need to have A LOT of patience with him. The other staff members were more helpful, quick, and efficient.
The price. Clean overall. WiFi isn't free. Little gnats were present in the room. Shower head is too low, and the water pressure isn't great.
The wifi was the only thing I was satisfied with. Walls are were way too thin! The couple next door woke me up a couple times thru the nite. The bottom of my feet were black after just a few minutes of walking barefoot on the carpet. The staff was very hard to communicate with and reeked of b.o.
Absolutely nothing!!!! The staff was very rude and the room smelled. The bathroom window didn't closed all the way and there was a hole in the bathroom window with some kind of paper stuck in it. There were also bugs in the room. We dropped our stuff off went to the park and came back and just left. We didn't even stay there. Will not stay there again!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The carpet was not vacuumed.
Price, it was fairly cheap even on high season and it was decently close to Universal Studios. Everything, don't even know where to begin, here's a bunch of the key points: - Every single sheet/towel had stains on them, from mascara to who know what else. - Even though the room stated non-smoking it was very clear they didn't enforce it as they all had ash trays and on one of our rooms we had a cigarette butt near the door of the bathroom which brings me to the next point. - Dirty, the fact that we found the cigarette, stains and carpet were I didn't even want to take off my shoes says enough. And this is considering I have a very high threshold to dirtyness. - Shady, all sorts of things happening. There were all sorts of shady behavior going on. Crazy people getting pissed at cars that weren't theirs to what I'm 90% sure a few prostitutes either live or work there. Couples fighting and what not. - We only stayed one night(thankfully) and on one of our bedrooms we found fleas and 2 of my nephews had bites all over them. - When we walked in one of our bedrooms door was open, and never locked neither did the window. It also looked like people would crash on it. - Oh god I don't even want to remember, I'm trying to forget... - I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy... - Please stay away from this place.
NOTHING, absolutely nothing. I asked to change rooms 3 times because the sheets were not changed in the first room, there was a big ass roach I the sink at the first room the secon room was the sAme!! And the air conditioner was not working! Then I had an argument with the old owner cuz he was being really nasty about giving me my money back. So I was given another room. It looked better but the sheets were not clean!!!!! So they gave me clean sheets ant told me to change it my self! That's when my girl got furious and told them to change the sheets and bring new ones them self. Worst service EVER DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!! Everything dirty! Worst service ever! Nasty bathrooms. They don't change the sheets between guests AND INFESTED WITH ROACHES
Nothing i can think of. Worst hotel i ever stayed in my life. Its not even worth $20 par day. Bed bugs, shitty blankate and dirty room. Horrible staff.
Nothing!!!! Very bad service. We got our room and the AC didn't work, I called front office and they daid they would come check it and they never did. When I turned in my key and I told the lady at the office she was really rude and said " Well you booked the room right" whatever that was suppose to meant. Super bad service would never recommend this place to anybody.
Close to restaurants, freeways, and places other than this motel. Shabby, unclean room; long black hairs on sheets and towels; hooker in parking lot. $74 a night?!? They should've paid ME to stay here!
