Horrible bed. Staff so so. Lazy valet parking
I sent this to the hotel to: This place is mediocre at best, the views are your saving grace. Your ‘Tahoe King’ with an image of the lake view felt like a huge bait and switch considering the cost was $570/night and I can’t begin to express the disappointment when I first got put right next to the elevator and then once I asked to be moved had a view of a parking lot for $570/night???? The staff said that there were no other options and then once i was in tears and said I would rather leave after immediately getting there from my 4 hour drive then stay, they all of a sudden had a lake view available the next day. I stayed the night thinking I would be upgraded and yet you still required I pay an additional $150 more/night?? All that just to feel like I was getting what I paid for. Beside from your room cleaning, Edgewood restaurant & sports bar staff- the other staff was curt, had no sense of urgency and inconsistent in their service. One day the pool service came around to your lounge the next day they required you to order from the bar (and yet some guests got served their food and drinks to their lounge...inconsistent). Ordering room service with your lobster roll on a ‘brioche bun’ it’s a hot dog bun- I took a picture and showed friends who laughed. I was there for 5 days 4 nights and there wasn’t even a single memorable staff interaction, oh but I did love getting barked at by a staff member in a golf cart for trying to go for a walk but supposedly I wasn’t allowed to go that direction because of the golf course (NO DIRECTIONAL SIGNS). The cost to value is not here and either your staff don’t know how to provide a memorable experience or they’re not empowered to.
Great setting and large beach area
The lack of hot water in the shower. The first night we did not have hot water after an hour and a half of them trying to fix it we took cold showers. The next day we moved to a room with hot water and got a small credit for the lack of hot water.
Had an absolutely amazing stay. From the moment we stepped into the breathtaking view from reception to our fantastic, comfy room. Staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. Grounds immaculate and the views fantastic.
Wonderful resort located on the beautiful lakefront of Lake Tahoe. Lots of amenities, including private beach and dock with a variety of water sport rentals. Rooms are very spacious and clean.
