Pros: Absolutely loved staying here. The apartment was well appointed, clean, cozy, and had a nice ambiance. The window/doors were fantastic for letting in fresh air. The European breakfast was perfect. Parking right on the side of the building. Easy to find and walking distance to the main area of the village. I had a late arrival and Evelin was great with accommodating me, and gave helpful recommendations for dining, etc. Super quiet and the views were amazing. Great place to relax after exploring.
Cons: No complaints! Would definitely stay here again!!! Evelin was a great hostess!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was only a few minutes walk from the town centre. The host met us on arrival and was very welcoming and informative with regard to restaurants for eating and directions to them. The room was very clean and comfortable and had a kitchen area with fridge and cooking facilities (don't know if all rooms had this facility). The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was continental with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend.
Cons: No negative comments.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place in the middle of nowhere but close to Stelvio Pass. Comfortable beds and very clean but relatively basic. Great for an overnight if you are passing through. Very nice restaurant. Good breakfast. We also enjoyed dinner but largely meaty dishes though a nice salad bar.
Cons: Church bells till 11 pm quite loud
9.6 Excellent
Pros: the location, the food but especially the Gallia family who made you feel at home
Cons: there's nothing I didn't like
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms with large, comfy beds. Excellent location for short stay + fantastic view from balconies. Tasty, generous breakfast. Kind and helpful staff. Great restaurant on-site.
Cons: One of our rooms was large, bright and airy, whilst the other one quite small and gloomy. Considering the price I wouldn't stay for more than one night in that smaller room. Church bells ring every 15 minutes from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. The bus stop you can see on pictures right in front of the hotel was moved few hundred meters up the street. We had to change our plan for the day because we missed the bus.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything about this delightful hotel . The owner is charming and the staff very efficient dressed in lovely traditional outfits. We arrived in the evening after a long journey and were upgraded to the Romantic bedroom free of charge which was a beautiful large room . Dinner was excellent and the best food we have had all week . Amazing soup starter and prawn main course . Breakfast excellent, good coffee. Wonderful scenery and beautiful hotel exterior .
Cons: All delightful .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was really clean and we had a great view. The beds were super comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and the meals, including breakfast, were delicious. I was there to bicycle the Stelvio Pass, so the location at the foot of the pass was excellent.
Cons: There was no mini fridge in the room; though I'm beginning to believe that this isn't a basic for European hotels. But that was minor given all the positives of the Hotel Gallia. They are very economical with bathroom towels.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Big comfortable rooms. Great restaurant serving local dishes and top breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel was perfect and the staff who wore traditional attire made the ambience even better. The food was of a very high standard.
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff. Dinner at the restaurant was a treat, so was breakfast. Nice views both up and down the valley from the balcony. Spacious room.
Cons: For coffee lovers it would have been good to leave a pot at the table in stead of having the waitress running back and forth from the kitchen with single cups.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Positioned right at the foot of Stelvio pass, it is a perfect place to stay to have an early beggining up the pass. Nice, comfortable room with a big bathroom, balcony with an awesome view (but without any furniture outside!!). The parking is on the side of the road (which starts getting busy early in the morning) but they offered me closed garage space for the motorcycle for no extra cost. Amazing dinner at the restaurant and at very reasonable prices. Good Wi-Fi.
Cons: Narrow stairs without an elevator, could be a problem for some people. I would expect the breakfast to be a little better, especially after the amazing dinner we had.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything- the staff were friendly and attentive, they couldn't do enough for you , the decor throughout the hotel was first class , the rooms were very comfortable and nicely laid out and beautifully clean, the food from start to finish was excellent couldn't fault it in any way , it was a wonderful place to stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel if your looking for quality
Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like , everything was excellent

Pros: The staff were very friendly, and even managed to get our cars into the limited car park. The dinner was excellent and extremely reasonable. We would not hesitate to come back if visiting the area again.

Pros: Family owned, small, clean, pretty pension. Convenient for short stays. It has a good cafe / Restaurant in front.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Firstly the welcome was amazing! The owner, Fabian knew us by name so made a refreshing change from anonymous hotel staff greeting you. All the family who own the hotel are very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us, even accommodating storage for our expensive bikes. The room was excellent, more an apartment really and was ideal for our needs. The whole hotel was extremely clean and very tidy. Breakfast was good, continental style but more than suitable. Good coffee too! The location for anyone wanting to use it as a base for cycling is spot on. Right at the start to the Passo dello Stelvio. And all other major climbs easily accessible in the location. The village is excellent also for coffees and evening beers. I would highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning.
Cons: Nothing at all!!

Pros: Wonderful setting in the Alps. Family run hotel. The owner Fabian was very gracious and attentive - we felt very well cared for. We arrived earlier than arranged on a Sunday afternoon and he opened the hotel for us and booked us in, which we were grateful for. The room and bed were comfortable and the breakfast was good. Great value for money too.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was to our liking. The room was spacious with remodeled new bathroom. We had our own terrace and the hotel was quiet as it's on a side street where you have no noise from the main road. The breakfast offered was varied and perfect for all tastes. The owner was always available and caring to our and other guests every need. The position is perfect to visit Prato allo Stelvio town and venture to various restaurants and shops close by. In half an hour it's easy to drive to various skiing possibilities giving us a nice selection in Italy and in Austria considering all skiing resorts cost the same and it was nice to go to one place one day and another on the 2nd day. Highly recommended for the hotel itself, the owners who are very caring, the location!

Cons: The beds were too hard (personal preference).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is the perfect resort for a luxurious stay in the Alps. It was incredible!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: If you wanna have a rest outside of cities it is one of the best options you can find. Extremely quite place, perfectly managed, clean. Great views from the room and restaurant. We stayed in January, the room is comfortably warm - not standard in Italy this time. I can definitely recommend the hotel for people who like hiking and strolls - great routes are available, even in winter (I saw a map with routes - much wider range in summer). Perfect breakfast. And SPA! You have there everything you even can imagine for leisure and pleasure.
Cons: It may be comfortable to place electric kettle to the room. And it is usual in Italy and not question to the hotel - but if you prefer to eat earlier you cannot find place - almost all restaurants, including the hotel one, open their doors at 7 pm. We found great pizza restaurant which began working at 5 pm.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel, in a strategic location: Solda, Watles and other ski areas are easy to reach. Fantastic wellness center: bio sauna, panorama sauna, hammam, relax room and even special chairs with infrared. Good breakfast, with many alternatives. Thanks!
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: Very basic hotel. Breakfast limited to bread and a lot of cornflakes. Watch out for additional charges on the bill. Very disappointing.

7.9 Good
Pros: Perfect location
Cons: No wifi
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We loved our overnight stay here, half way through the drive down the Stelvio Pass in August. The views of the road are great, and if you like watching (and hearing) sports cars and motorcycles, there is plenty of action on the nearby corners. The room was simple, but quite large. The best part for us was the dinner. We recommend you go for the set option - it's a buffet salad followed by 3 courses. All the food was amazingly tasty and really good quality. Breakfast was also great. Would definitely stay here again.
Cons: The pillows are really flat (which seems quite common in Germany). Wish we'd brought our own!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: What a view! Location was just great. The staff was friendly and the dinner was great! Pool was nice but we arrived late so the sauna wasn't warm anymore.
Cons: There was only 1 babychair, had to share it with others. There was no kettle in the room - to heat up baby food.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is great, they have breathtaking views, very friendly, multilingual and helpful stuff/service, tasty food and nice rooms :-) I do recommend a stay in this beautiful place :-)
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I highly recommend this hotel. It was a cozy and cute place with amazing views, the staff were very friendly and very kindly waited for us to check in late (12 at night as we got very delayed)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was typical European fare....bread / rolls / cold-cuts / fruit / vegetables / yogurt....very healthy. There were also boiled eggs and the server offered me fried / scrambled eggs which were good. Coffee, water etc.
Cons: I would have preferred if they focused more on a spa experience. Sell it to me. They have a nice sized pool which was heated and good. Also, they provide a nice robe and spa-like towels. The sauna was not turned on which was disappointing. Also, perhaps look into offering massage services. In my opinion, a good massage makes the whole hotel experience better. Maybe look at having a separate contractor provide massage services.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There is not better place to stay if you'd like to drive Stelvio pass more than a few times going up and down. With an authentic mountain spirit is one of the most stunning places I've been. In fact really I love to travel between the mountain passes. Special thanks to the hosts who manage to prepare me a breakfast as I wanted to leave very early in the morning. I would definitely stay again!
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, great staff and service. The views are amazing. The room was spacious and clean and the food was superb.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: If you are here to do the Stelvio you cant go wrong. Stunning location and food was great. there is also a nice indoor pool and Sauna. A little tip for you if you come here, try and arive here late afternoon 5pm on and leave before 8am to avoid the trafic. You will have a much better expeiance.
Cons: Bedrooms were just ok and the room we had was at the back of the hotel. but don't let that put you offas you are here for the stelvio not the room.

Pros: Cosy , huge and very well furnished modern rooms! We arrived quite late but the owner organized very easily so that we could access the room by ourself without proper check in. The owner is lovely , we will stay here again !

Cons: At night with opened windows under certain circumstances increased traffic noise.

Pros: Everything!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly, and even managed to get our cars into the limited car park. We had one of the new rooms, which was fabulous; our friends had a room on a lower floor in the older part of the hotel, which was a little more basic. The dinner was excellent and extremely reasonable. We would not hesitate to come back if visiting the area again.
7.9 Good
Pros: Good clean and service
Cons: Sauna is open just from 3 to 8. It would be good to have spa open from 09:00 to 12 and from 3 to 10:00
