Return @ Stuttgart airport was an absolut nightmare: almost impossible to find the return location - so I called AVIS customer service and the condescending lady on the phone almost called me stupid for not being able to find it instead of explaining. But the worst was yet to come: when I finally got to the return point I get a guy with no identification that demands the key of my car and says he is not able to give me a receipt of returning my car because it was a car coming from Switzerland and that I had to just trust him...5.6 Fair

Counter help was unable to fill out a contract but promised that it would be ok. Ended up costing 300euros more that she quoted stupid me for leaving without a full computer generated contractHertz

Not enough to outweigh the bad experience.Cons:
I was charged more than the rental contract stated. I was charged for fuel when I returned the vehicle with a full tank of gas. I was also charged fees that should not have been charged. This is very disappointing and I formally reached out to Hertz to complain.7.2 Good

Flight arrived early staff said my vehicle wasn't available, nor were any others in the class, tried to up-sell for 3 times the agreed upon cost. Told me I would need to wait for 2 hours until my reservation. At reservation offered me my choice of 3 vehicles and when I went to pick it up there was an entire row of my class of vehicle available. Definitely walked away feeling like the desk clerk I first spoke with chose to inconvenience me because I wouldn't accept the up-sell.4.0 Mediocre

Pickup did not hold the vehicle. They claimed I needed to provide my flight information (what form??) so that they know I'm coming. Why make a reservation if you don't KEEP the reservation?!Sixt

Pros:
Staff were pathetic. MR PINTO AND HIS MANAGER MS KUHLMANN, were extremely rude and incompetent. They didn't even supply the car I booked, overcharged me more than double as they didn't have a car and now refuse to refund me or reply to my calls or emails. Worst car rental ever.Cons:
Sixt is useless, it's no wonder they are called Sixt and not First..... Absolutely will never do a rental with them again.6.0 Okay
