Cleanliness, good staff, comfortable beds. Bar prices were "through the roof" expensive. Coffee packet had only one coffee and one cup. Not all advertised health facilities were open or available. Others rooms in party got complimentary breakfast, but we did not.
Very close to the airport and convenient when arriving late or flying out early
Very close to the airport (less than 3 minutes by car) Excellent and spacious rooms. Quiet and clean. Excellent breakfast.. Very friendly personnel. Nothing..
Close to airport, reasonable cost Nothing
JW Marriott Quito is an excllent hotel in all aspects. The staff are very polite and they are always available for suggestions. The restaurants are great specially for La Hacienda. The room is clean, big and very beautiful. The executive lounge has excellent food and it is very comfortable. I really recommend JW Marriott Quito.
Staff was very nice Didn't feel the cost was worth the stay not sure if I would stay there again at her hotels closer that are just as nice and less expensive
Swimming pool, sauna, Turkish bath.
I loved the facilities, great gym, spa and pool Prices for food are way out of line. A juice was $10! Breakfast was $21 the cheapest one and not even Buffett. You could hear buses running by just outside the window, partying on the mezzanine was so loud you could hear the bass in the room.
The Staff are incredible! Every single staff member from the front desk, to valet and cleaning personnel are smiling and eager to please. The hotel itself is stunningly beautiful. There was a floral arrangement in the foyer with at least 6 dozen long stem roses. amazing. The rooms are clean, large and outfitted with every amenity a traveler needs.
Great location! Nice breakfast and coffee available 24/7. Beautiful relaxing hotel and rooms.
Although I made an online reservation, the front desk attendant decided that he would give priority to other people who walked in and paid him cash. They did not give any reasoning why they did not think my online reservation was valid and simply dismissed us. I was left stranded with my significant other having to look for a different hotel. If you are in Old Quito, I would recommend Hotel San Francisco, which is just down the block from this one.
Location was very good and staff were friendly and helpful. Design of hotel caused it to be noisy sometimes but after midnight it was quiet.
This is a colonial-style building completely refurbished as a hotel in the old city, with an extremely willing staff. Hotel pick-up at the airport was handled very well, even though my plane was several hours late (after midnight). Staff very helpful and anxious to please, and they do not charge for using their computers in the patio (Business Center) There is no elevator, and you have to go up to the 4th floor for breakfast, which can be a real feat given the altitude of Quito, at least the first couple of days. They serve only breakfast. Although there are several restaurants a couple of blocks away, I wished I could have eaten something at night, say, right in the hotel or closer by. Single room was very small (but very new and well-maintained), and the closet pole was out of reach, 7 feet up or more.
the cable tv and the excellent hot shower no
The hotel was comfortable and very clean. The staff was helpful. It is located in Quito's old section and very close to many of the sites we wanted to see. The courtyard in the center of the building was a nice quiet place to relax. The hotel provided eveerything we needed-- comfortable beds, hot water, a good breakfast and free wi-fi. I was sorry that there wasn't a restaurant in the hotel. (The information I received when I made the reservations said that there was.) Quito is not very safe at night and we didn't feel comfortable going out at night. The hotel has a refrigerator and we were able to use that which helped.
Breakfast was nice, served in a beautiful setting with a view of the city. Good location, close to LaRonda for nice restaurants and shopping and sightseeing. It's noisy in the mornings because most rooms face the enclosed courtyard and you can hear the guests leaving for breakfast and checking out. Not a good hotel for sleeping in.
