Clean, spacious, great location and great value. Pillows could stand replacing. They were clean but no support.
Overall standard motel, good pool, standard rooms, great location, great service. Had a room that smelled terrible. I asked the front desk and they were willing to swap rooms, or go in to thoroughly clean it. I swapped rooms, with no hassle and no questions asked.
We checked out two days early cause it just wasn't what we wanted. Wifi was weak. Breakfast was over by 9 but when I wet at 850 it was already over. Overall experience lacked comfort.
good location for ASU. It is what you would expect for a budget hotel. reasonably clean and comfortable. Good for a place to sleep when you are out all day. no free wifi.
Price / Location The smoke smell and the fact that the lights would flicker.
Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Room was spotless and had a brand new tv in it with all the channels free. Not loud or crowded, even had a nice sized pool. Great place and perfect price point for a nice stay. Nothing.
The breakfast was delicious, hot and fresh. The room was mice on first night. Housekeeping brought us clean towels only and did not Service our room for two days out of our four day stay. When the housekeepers did clean our room, it was very sloppy cleaning. Staff made me uncomfortable, they were always watching us....i was hoping it was not a black thing.
The proximity to the event I was attending. I was put in a smoking room when I had asked for non smoking. This was fixed with some trepidation only because one of the guests has a heart condition and can't stay in such a room.
The cost and location by the mall Two cramped for two beds. should only have one
Staff was very kind, they did solve every problem Once the room was not maked up
A good motel in an attractive part op scotsdale for een good price The size of the room could larger
Conveniet location. Bed very comfortable. Bathtub was extremely slippery for showering/ no mat.
Good location, free parking, free coffee in the morning at the front desk. Small swimming pool with long opened hours. I have booked nonsmoking room, but the tobaco smell I felt during all 3 my nights staying in the motel. The very first day of my staying I asked for a hairdraiyer, but unnfortunately all these days I didn't see it.
no coffee or tea machine in the room; everyplace has that nowadays.
The motel room was very reasonably priced and covered the bases of what we needed
Location was good for what I needed No, most everything was fine.
I liked the wood floor instead of carpet. No microwave in room, ice hard to find.
down town location,inexpensive,great staff,
Close to the downtown area. Within a few minutes walk to ballpark, arena, and convention center
The room was supposed to be smoke free, but reeked of smoke including bedding, towels, etc and the smoke alarm had the battery removed. The place was so dirty I had to was off the light switch and the phone before touching either. I asked for a different room, the manager told me no, I checked out one hour later because I couldn't breathe in all the smoke.
Our overall stay was decent. Quiet, never any interruptions. What I didn't care for, the pool was absolutely disgusting. After taking a shower, we discovered our feet were dirty. We discovered it was the carpet making our feet black! Also dropped some jewelry between the bed and night stand, reached down to grab it and pulled back a handful of what appeared to be cookie crumbles..upon further review there was tons of food crumbs, some hair accessories and other items, that were not ours.
Staff was friendly. This was the dirtiest room I have ever stayed in. The carpets, doors, comforter, even one of the towels were dirty! The continental breakfast was a joke, and there were only 3 tables with hardly enough room for 6 people to be in there at a time. The neighborhood wasn't very nice, but I was trying to find something cheap within walking distance of the convention center. I walked it, but it was a bit of a hike. You get what you pay for, and at least I didn't pay much.
The room was clean but had no wastebaskets. Toiletries provided were lotion, lotion and conditioner. The plumbing produced lots of noise when I or the room next door tried to take a shower, and the water was only lukewarm. Breakfast was pretty good compared to other Super 8s I have stayed at.
Bad Wi-fi condition, breakfast with minimum menu. If you are looking for relatively cheap accommodation, it's fine, but I still think I overpaid.
The room was a complete DUMP! Ripped chair, and old rotten food in the refrigerator. I was afraid for my life, and that I would wake up and my car would be gone...
It's close to where I'm going The location is creepy
It was cheap and staff were friendly. There were a lot of lingering people at all hours. Someone called our room at 1 am. The second night someone knocked on our door after midnight. Overall, a very sketchy place.
nothing dirty sheets, crappy pillows - you had to dodeg the pimps and drug dealers to go to and from your room
The lady at the reception desk when we checked in was fantastic, very sweet and super helpful. She is the only reason we stayed in this disgusting motel and didn't immediately go back to Flagstaff. We would have been a lot more upset and probably would have left demanding our money back had she not been so kind to us. The lady who worked the evening of March 15, 2015 deserves a raise! The lady when we checked out was also nice but was unprofessional and more concerned with what was on her phone. Overall, we did get what we paid for I suppose. The location was super convienent, it was 10 min or less away from everything we wanted to do. Just glad we only stayed for one night. I will also admit that the bbqs by the pool are a genius idea! A familiy staying there was bbq-ing up a storm and it smelt AMAZING. haha The hotel resturaunt was also actually really nice! The room was disgusting. Utterly disgusting. Cheetos stuck to the carpet, all of the trash cans full, all the towels were damp, no toilet paper, used soaps, dirty mirrors and counter tops, smelt like dog pee, cigarette burns in the sheet/bed, beds were super questionable, pillows smelt mildewy, and only half of the outlets worked. We ended up using our clothes for pillows and ended up sleeping on top of the comforter just because we didn't want to sleep inside. The most staff seemed overworked and underpaid. The rest seemed lazy. And by internet they do not mean WiFi, they mean a tiny computer from the 80s in the lobby... That may or may not work.
Closeness to the airport. Very dirty. Very rundown. Extremely dodgy people walking around the hotel at all hours of the night. Loud from the passing interstate. Lots of places where your car might be rocked. Women of loose morals knocking on the door very late and offering their services. Stay away!
Price Close to the airport Almost all of the surfaces were sticky! Stains on the pillow cover. Noise of the adjacent highway! Noise of the 18 wheelers that park there. Homeless people around there.
Expedia either screwed up booking or they overbooked and we got screwed. Booked a room 3 months in advance and they were not helpful at all
Nothing First, when I went to go check in the clerk made me wait for like 10minutes while she counted her drawer. Then she received a phone call and was helping the person on the phone while I just stood there. No apologies or acknowledgement afterwards. Second, the facility sucks. Lastly, at night I went to dinner with friends when I returned there were bikers cover the entry way, there people out fighting and smoking. My friends feared for me staying there by myself so I ended staying at their airBnB. I am currently on my way back to motel to get my stuff and run out of there.
Decent deal clean good price hot water . Not bad , not 5 star but it was 36$ tax included so
Very friendly staff and security. Very shady-looking people hanging out around the motel at all hours of the night. Not a good neighborhood. The room did not have a fridge to keep your food/drink cold.
Nothing to like. Bed was lousy and place was creepy. I would not recommend it to any person for any reason. It's not worth staying there, even at the bargain I paid. I would rather pay the extra $10 a night somewhere else.
Not a thing. The first room was completely trashed and still had smoke hanging in the air of the non-smoking room. The second room was at least mostly made up, minus dirty towels still in the room. It was however sketchier than places I slept in while serving in Iraq... I chose to sleep in my sleeping bag on top of the bedding due to the stains on the "Clean" sheets. Service was terrible and I watched two drug deals go down in front of the room across from me while I was unloading my stuff from the bike.
Staff was great. Location. Which isn't the staff fault
The fact they had a pool. This place is disgusting. Burn holes on bedding of a "nonsmoking" room, dirty towels meant to shower the size of a hand towel, lights didn't work, carpet ripping off the edges, flies EVERYWHERE, things broken left and right... After less than 3 hours we decided we couldn't stay, and ate the $36 and LEFT. Spend the $10-20 extra and go down the street.
When I arrived at the hotel, it looked decent on the outside. I have already booked a room a few weeks in advance for the convention that we were going to. Once I entered the room, it was okay. There were a few spots that weren't as cleaned as I thought but just ignored it. Then, the next few days, I noticed from the sink and in the bathroom there were a few ants crawling with an addition of a small cockroach in one of the furniture pieces. In order for us to be a little more comfortable, we bought raid and sprayed it around the edges of the room (which did help). The one good thing about the hotel is the location from the convention, which was 5 minutes away from where we were staying. I did pay pretty cheap for it so I guess in a way this is an example of you get what you pay for. The staff was pretty nice though as well.
The price and location fit with was I was going to do in the area Room is worn down but could not complain since i was not expecting no 5 star room for $26 which is a good price.
Disgusting and dirty. Drug addicts walking around. Homeless people sleeping in the laundry room
The bang for buck. Detergent used for towels. Very dingy
Heather deserves a raise for all she puts up with.
Being able to sleep in bed thats it Everything it was horrible we first got there and the worker gave us room number 222. We get to the room and its horrible its a mess all over has not been clean and it had needles u can tell drug users where in the room. so we went back to front desk to complain and all he said was oh okay I'll have someone clean it and we are like no we want a new room all together and the guy gets attitude but gives a room. Also the pool was empty, ac barley worked and the towels were dirty. And the cable on had 10 channels. Worst hotel experience ever!!! WARNING DO NOT GO!!!
The price and location were perfect for my needs. Yes, the swimming pooll did not open until 9:00am each morning. This is summer time for goodness saks...kids and adults, myself included would like to be able to get access to the pool earlier than that!
friendly staff, rooms are fine. Two great queensize beds! They do not have breakfast, but denny's is just around the corner!
Studio rooms have full-size refrigerator, microwave and cooktop. Hotel has bed bugs!! Doors/Walls are thin so there is a lot of noise. Pillows/Comforter/Mattress are uncomfortable. Hotel does not provide shampoo/conditioner, only poor quality bar soap. Towels were small and rough.
Free soap? Nothing worked. The fridge didn't work, the location was terrible, the trash was run at 4 AM right outside my bedroom, my keycard kept getting erased so I'd have to wait in the long lines just to get back into my room. How they handled room payments (I rented the room ahead of time, but they didn't take the money until I stayed.) I'm lucky I rented online through a travel website; I would have been very upset had I paid the $100+ they were charging. It certainly wasn't even close to worth $100 a night.
We stayed at the Inn for a week. Staff was friendly and informative. Nice pool although the weather was a little too cool to jump in. We wanted a safe and comfortable place to sleep and that is what we had. We would stay there again. It has been about 8 year since we had been in Phoenix and sadly, the MetroCenter area seems to be a bit run down. More homeless than I had remembered and I'm sorry to see the condition of the area deteriorating. Not the hotel's fault but location could scare some people off.
The room was n ice and clean, and the location was very convenient. Plenty of restaurants nearby and easy to get to from the freeway.
Shower fixture not attached to wall, hanging down. Grout in wall tile is mildewed. Poor repair evident. Cleanliness lacking. I decided to NOT shower.
I liked the location. There were many businesses and restaurants very close by.
The cute black girl at the front desk. It took an hour to get internet after paying $7 for it.
Price They offer wifi with a charge but it never worked and their business center was out of service
Expensive No toilet paper No trash can Broken toilet Dirty room Broken TV remote Wi fi didn't work Cockroaches
close to airport and cheap Located in a seedy part of town, no airport shuttle. This is not a place to stay for an overnight and getting to the airport really early. The hotel is more a transient by the week type hotel in a bad part of town.
Economical, available, and rather less than visually appealing, this is what you hope for on a low budget. Clean and safe. And that is about it. Worrying that the car might be messed with the razor wire on the fence and the graffiti on nearby buildings was none too encouraging. But they do deliver a safe and quiet accommodation.
Hooker hotel covered in bugs. Health risk. I am calling the Phoenix Health Dept. on this place.
Price There was vomit in the sink and mustard on the walls. We could not stay in that environment, and requested our money back. Even if they had chosen to clean the room it would have been after midnight before we would get sleep. Their response was too bad you already paid. No refunds!
Dirty I slept on the couch after buying a new sheet to sleep on Friday target. Don't stay here is awful
Very rude racist lady at the front desk called me all types of Niger's Nothing about this place
Television didnt work, no running hot water fairly clean
It doesn't cost that much to get blankets, sheets, and pillowcases that don't have holes in them. That would have significantly improved my stay. My bathroom has recently been redone, but the bedding is what made it a 1 star in most categories.
Room was fairly clean, and a McDonalds was within walking distance. When I arrived, Juan at the desk said the credit card I used to book the room online was declined, even though I had been using it all day purchasing gas on the road. He said he'd run it again and then told me it was still declined. I called my credit union while in the lobby and they told me, there was no record of either transaction, just the gas and other items I'd put on the card, and there was no reason for the card to be declined. I told my credit union I'd go ahead and pay cash. When I asked for a receipt for the room, I was told they would bring it to my room later. Three hours later I asked Juan again and he said the system was still down. I asked if I could just get something in writing to prove I paid. He said he'd put the receipt under the door later. I told him thank you that I needed the receipt to get reimbursed. I never got the receipt and I had to leave at 4:00 AM. It felt like a scam to me, to pocket the rent. The TV was disconnected, with the AC, it took most of the night to get the room cool enough to sleep.
There was no hot water. Homeless people hang out being for money. The towels had stains on them. The sheets had stains on them. The staff is very rude and if you complain they tell you leave or they will call the police and will not refund you your money. This is a one night stay if your desperate and have very little money for a hotel
This is the worst hotel I have ever been in. The room was full of bugs and had holes in the walls that the people in the next room could see through. It was about 140 degrees and the Aircon did not work. There were nasty prostitutes and crackheads lurking outside the rooms and the management were rude and refused a refund when I walked straight out and went to a better hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE!
Stayed 2 nights. Our room faced freeway which seemed too loud till I realized the window was open. Room was clean but the bed looked rumpled. Nice shower in clean bathroom. Room equipped with microwave, small fridge and iron. Very good breakfast with fruit, fresh waffles, sweet rolls, muffins, toast, cerel, juice, coffee & milk. Staff we quick to restock items. Didn't have time to try the small pool or hottub. Slept well and good deal for a last minute booking on a busy weekend. Hallway smelled like smoke. A bit awkward to fnd. Sat night was noisy with people slamming doors and talking till after midnight.
We requested a non-smoking room, but we got a room that smelled with cigarrete.
