Pros: Our perfect week in the beautiful City Terracina started with the owner of the B&B who picked us up from the Train Station in Monte S. B., gave us a ride to Terracina and showed us the lovely room we stayed. We enjoyed the warm welcome, a very clean an comfortable room and bathroom with all Equipment you usually need and a lovely balcony. Every morning we enjoyed the nice breakfast with bread, eggs, cheese and ham, fresh fruits, cakes, Croissants and Juice - on our balcony with a nice fiew of the sea. 5 minutes walking distance to the sea, proximately 100 meters and about 50 meters to the bus stop who takes you into the town Center, the antike part of Terracina or wherever you want to go. We definetely recommend this B&B - and we will definetely stay there again. Thanks Marcello for a great week - and for driving us to the Train Station again. Doris and Richard

Cons: Maybe there could be an Information on the desk regarding the bus and Train schedules - but this is just an Suggestion - and maybe there was this Information and we didnt see it.

Pros: We have really enjoyed the stay in the Il Grande Blu. The location is very nice (3-5 minutes walking from the beach; about 5-7 minutes walking from the beach which is free of charge; big supermarket and the good restaurant are also not far; 20-25 minutes walking to the historic center of the town). The room is very clean and well-equipped with all the necessities (air-conditioner, fridge, kettle, hair dryer). There is see/mountain view from the balcony. The breakfast is tasty and the food is more various than in traditional Italian breakfast. The owner is hospitable and helpful. All in all, the description and the photos absolutely match the reality. I would recommend to stay here for those who plan to visit Terracina. Thank You, Marcello!))

Pros: We booked this room while travelling from Pompeii to Cinque Terre. Marcello was extremely easy to communicate with. He met us at our car as we drove up at 10:30 p.m. and greeted us at 9:00 a.m. with espresso and the best croissants and fresh fruit that we had on our entire two week trip. It was as if he welcomed us into his home. Terracina was an unexpected, beautiful surprise. We awoke to a lovely breakfast on our balcony with a view of the Sea. We felt rested and relaxed. We wished we could have stayed another day to explore the village more.

Pros: Il Grande Blu is the perfect place to stay when visiting Terracina..do not look further for another place!

Pros: I have to say that this was perhaps one of the most pleasant experiences I've ever had in a bed and breakfast. It almost felt like a hotel, the service and dedication from the owners was amazing. When we arrived, Marco, the owner, introduced himself and showed us the place. Afterwards they welcomed us with complimentary drinks and food. We sat in the lovely garden and it really felt like vacation. The room was really nice and clean. There is a minibar, airco and a tv. The bathroom and shower is also nice. The breakfast is classic Italian. They offer different kind of cakes, sweets, fruits croissants and of course the cappuccino or a nice espresso. On the day we left we even received some food and drinks for during the roadtrip. They are very friendly people and they go the extra mile to make sure you feel at home. We also got a lot of info about good restaurants and places to visit on Terracina. They definitely deserve the positive reviews and I would recommend anyone to stay here.

Pros: Location: just a few minutes walk to the endless starch of beautiful beaches . Not too far from the historic city. The host : Marco is great. He went out of his way to make us feel welcomed and happy. Very easy to communicate. He accommodated our early arrival and greeted us with coffee and snacks. The wine and apperative in the garden was a very nice touch:) Facility: new rooms , spotless. Beautiful garden! Safe private easy parking.

Cons: Breakfast was OK

Pros: Marco was very helpful and informative, including discount card for seafront restaurant about 700m away and aperitivo before dinner. The room was not large but fine, parking behind locked gate and under a shade was a bonus. The beach was a couple of blocks away. A good place to stop on the way from Naples area to Rome.

Cons: A pity there were no chairs in the garden available.

Pros: The host was truly superb couldn’t do enough to help nothing was too much trouble. Room excellent Would definitely stay again.

Pros: Fabulous spot on the beach, very restful. Room opened onto the beach area. Extensive choice of food for breakfast. Friendly and helpful hosts. The decor in the public areas created a homely atmosphere which was very welcoming.

Pros: Lovely junior suite with terrace directly facing the beach, nice common areas including lounge area, restaurant and outdoor space. Very pleasant staff, good wifi. Good breakfast selection compared to other hotels in Italy.

Cons: Restaurant a bit pricey for the quality offered. Breakfast included a brilliant fruit salad on our first day which did not appear again. Distance to Terracina is much more than the 1 km advertised. Parking in Terracina is very difficult to find, especially during the weekend. The place isn’t that well insulated so it would be noisy if there were a lot of guests staying.

Pros: This hotel is on the outskirts of Terracina. It is a beachfront hotel - so it's nice to be so close to the sea/beach. At breakfast, I am vegetarian (and all the hot food had meat in it) and unfortunately I am not fond of the Italian style sweet breakfasts so although the breakfast offering was impressive, it was not to my taste, but the staff were really accommodating and made me some fried eggs. The day after there more items without meat. I don't know if this was a coincidence or they had made an effort, but I appreciated it nonetheless. The menus for lunch and dinner didn't have veggie options but they said they could make me something no problem but it was a bit too vague for my liking so didn't take them up on this!

Cons: The railway station Monte San Bagio is less than 10 minutes drive, but the shuttle bus the hotel offers you is 20E one way, which is pretty expensive! Especially when there is a bus that goes between 2 train stations that serve Terracina for 1E per person per journey. You can catch this same bus from the centre of town to the hotel, but the hotel acts like there is no way to get anywhere except by their shuttle bus. There is only 1 free hotel shuttle bus in the morning and one in the evening. On the first night we got the free shuttle bus into town. The evening free shuttle leaves the hotel at 5pm and collects you at 7.30pm. But on the first night, we went to the historical centre and NOTHING was open until 7pm. So there was no way to have dinner and to get the free shuttle bus back. So we got the public bus back from town and even though we went towards the beach the next night, it was pretty much the same for food so we got the public bus back again to the hotel. The 1e bus is pretty reliable and you can catch it around 9.55pm which is better. I think the hotel shuttle bus timings must be because they want you to eat in the hotel, but to us, we found the times of the free shuttle to be very inconvenient and if you request the hotel shuttle outside of the free times then it is 10E !! And the staff keep inferring that the shuttle bus is the ONLY way to get anywhere, when there clearly is a bus!! (but you must tell the driver your stop is Hotel Acquasanta and you must ring the bell/ tell them to stop as they don't really know where the hotel is - so you need to be vigilant and stop the bus!

Pros: Simona was very helpful and kind! When I arrived, she and her husband came to pick me up at the bus stop by car. She helped me out with any question, like how to get to the city centre and tips for restaurants. When I left, she and her sister brought me to the bus again by car. They were so nice! The room was spacious and clean. There's a big comfortable bed and a bathroom with everything you need. My room also had a terrace. In the hall, Simona had coffee and tea and all kinds of cakes and cookies you could take wherever you wanted. I took my breakfast there, but she also gives you a ticket to take breakfast in a bar nearby. The beach is at only two minutes walking from Villa Tiziano. In summer there's also a pool at the b&b. I would recommend to stay in this lovely bed and breakfast!

Cons: It's just a personal preference, but I'm a bit sensitive to light and the lighting in the room was this type of white, "cold" light that I personally don't like so much. The bed and breakfast is not very close to the city center. For me that was no problem, I happily walked the three kilometres on the beach, (there's also a sidewalk right next to the beach if you don't like walking in the sand that takes you straight to the centre) but depending on your interests or reasons for visiting, it might be a downside.

Pros: Reception staff extremely helpful as we had booked 2 consecutive nights, but had to split nights: 1 Sunday 1 Tuesday, as we wanted to visit the Island of Ponza. Even looked up ferries for us.

Cons: First night noise probably from air conditioning. Dripping sound all night.

Pros: An abundant buffet with yogurt, fresh rolls& bread with jam or sliced prosciutto, cheese, mozzarella di bufala, tomatoes and varied baked goods. We were offered eggs but declined. Cappuccino was freshly made by the staff and bought to our table.

Cons: Nothing! Marco was very helpful and attentive as were all of the staff. We ate Cena there which was expertly prepared and served along with an excellent local wine

Pros: I've stayed in many, many hotels through booking.com - this is my first '10'! I hadn't planned to stay in Terracina, but after breaking my ankle on the Via Francigena, I need to stop for a couple of nights. The hotel and facilities were as expected, the food was lovely, and Marco (the owner) has a heart of gold - he was sooo helpful in my time of need (thank you again!)

Pros: Marco (manager) and the staff just couldn't do enough for you. The meals were of good quality and value for money ,everywhere was spotlessly clean. The location is good less than a 100metres from a good beach. Marco's advice and recommendations for the wine, and places of interest to visit were invaluable. Definitely somewhere to stop if you are in the area.

Cons: Nothing this hotel should definitely be a higher star rating.

Pros: The staff was absolutely amazing! Picked us up at the bus station, and was very friendly from the start. Every morning they asked us if we wanted eggs, coffee or vegetables. The room was clean and the location was close to the beach. We would recommend you to stay here if you want excellent service and a hotel close to the beach.

Cons: Lack of power sockets in room. Away from the town centre, and not much around in the way of shops or other facilities.

Pros: Perfect bed & sleep. Great balcony & view. Great welcome: water in fridge, welcome free antipasti plate and aperitives. All staff friendly and professional. Bathroom lovely & clean. Breakfast good & efficient & friendly waiter.

Cons: Just that the TV screen was too small for me & too far away for me to read written words (my eyesight is not so good!)

Pros: We loved everyone & everything. The teams in the hotel & restaurant were so helpful and considerate, making sure we could relax about all our arrangements. My husband enjoyed bicycling & I walked 6 miles each day exploring. The food was tasty & imaginative from the filet mignon to the various seafood dishes. And the desserts were too delicious! Our balcony room overlooking the sea provided dramatic views of the weather and the kite boarders. We painted mostly from that balcony too. It was a great fall vacation.

Pros: We were the second time in this hotel and stayed in different rooms. It is clean, quite modern and has a very service minded personnel. I loved our delicious breakfasts with cappuccino a sea view.

Cons: Little bit noisy on week-end nights because of a beach bar. The night before our departure conditioner in the room 16 did not work properly, even showing right numbers (22C) it did not cool the room. A lady from reception came immediately to help us when we asked, and changed the settings, but unfortunately the situation did not change (I measured and the temp. in the room at night was 29C ). We should have asked for the help again, the staff of the hotel is really very helpful.

Cons: I like everything of this place simply beautiful and well organized the only suggestion i would make, since travelling with baby, is to add a sort of gate to the property so that the baby could play under the porch without worry that he will walk away!

Pros: In the beginning there was a slight misunderstanding, I associate it with the language barrier (the hosts speak Italian and French). However, all successfully resolved. Comfortable room, a separate exit to the garden. 10 minutes walk from the sea. There is a rental of deck chairs and umbrellas on the beach. Minimarket near the hotel. 20 minutes walk to the bus stop. Good place if you need the rest.

Cons: Out of the season the restrounts and caffes dont't work and it is rether difficult to find the food somethere besides the minimarket)
