Nothing - it was in transition from another franchise and not up to Red Roof Standards. Won't be going back there. Hotel was not up to Red Roof standards. On day two we told cleaning staff at 10:30 that we were leaving for the day in 1/2 hour so they could clean room came back to not cleaned and no towels. Complained and was told we said we were leaving at 12 Not true
Smoking room and internet was always good. More breakfast chooses
Availability, price Had remodeled room recently but doors would not close easily, carpet stained, bed spread had cigarette burns in non-smoking room. View out window was dismal.
Location near dining and shopping. Cleanliness. Carpets look like they haven't been swept in weeks. Upon arrival, had to request housekeeping to clean the toilet which had yellow soils on the seat.
The hotel was fine except for the breakfast. The food was old and not edible. So it was a good value for the price, but plan on getting breakfast at one of the restaurants that are close to the hotel. There is a Waffle House, Big Boy, and Bob Evans.
The staff was friendly and attentive. The room was small for today's standards and the beds were outdated and sagged in the middle. The breakfast was great and had a good variety to choose from. The hotel was difficult to find at first, even using a GPS. I actually had to stop at a local restaurant to ask directions. ( It is behind the Gas station on the hill). Overall an average hotel with a need for some room updating, but, I would stay there again .
Stayed back in October of 2009. Great room and location for the money. Rooms are clean and updated, hotel staff friendly. Will be staying again in February 2010
Stayed at this hotel due to an early morning flight. Bed was extremely comfortable. Down falls: it was winter time and parking lot was icy, also the hallway and stairs leading from outside here dark and dingy. Met the purpose of the stay, but would not want to stay multiple days.
I was in huber heights at a wedding party. I am originally from Mobile, AL. My family and friends live in huber heights. We decided to stay here at this hotel. I really like this hotel. I think its been recently remodeled and rooms are very nice. beds are new and very comfortable. and there breakfast was also pretty nice. Front desk clerk was very help full. If I come to this area again I would stay at this hotel again.
Front Desk staff was very helpfull. pool is very nice, its located near all shoping areas and nice restaurnt. I will stay here again for sure. they have nice business center. nice breakfast. \nSimply the best.
will i stay here...the frist room we got was verey much so in need of some dusting and smelled like mildew and had no hot water so we moved to a anthoer room wich was much cleaner but the bed liked as if some one had laid on top of it
Very happy with this hotel and would stay again. Nice breakfast bar. Pool and hot tub clean and plenty of towels for swimming. Easy access from highway.
The location is easy to find, however I think only a couple others stayed the night we did. The room was average, bed was old and not very comfortable. My wash cloth shredded when I tried to squeeze the water out. I think they should not advertise breakfast, I could find no utensils for the waffle, I did not want to eat with my fingers...so we did not eat at this establishment. I would not stay again.
Can't say there was anything outstandingly good OR bad about this hotel. Just an average hotel.
With this the great price came some short falls. The room we got was not very clean. It needed dusting and it looked like the bathroom wasn't tended to. The shampoo bottle was half used and only one clean large towel. Other then that, the staff was very pleasant and the breakfast was great.
Price. Curtious friendly staff. Clean room. Quite.. No hot water in shower.
It was close to everything. The carpet in the room was filthy. Every morning when we took a shower we left black footprints in the tub. We were indoors and wearing footwear everyday. So it had to come from the carpet in room 122.
Price is good. Location good. They allowed 2 adults and 2 kids each room. Bed Bugs! We got 2 rooms. One room had bed bugs. We found 3 and trapped them under a cup. My wife had 20 bites on her! Staff was nice but wouldn't deal with it until we were gone. We will stay elsewhere next time.
Very friendly and helpful. Pool was awesome and clean and warm.
I liked that it was close to what we needed to get to. I felt that the hotel had a lot to do about getting it cleaned up. The bed was clean, but the overall look was dingy. The bath tub had cracks and holes in it. The water pressure was just ok. The carpet was coming up in spots and dirty. It was just ok
The attendant, Dick, was very friendly and efficient. He provided good advice for where to eat breakfast the next morning which was excellent. There was no shampoo in the room; only bar soap. I took a shower and the tub would not drain. I was in ankle deep water by the end. The separate hot and cold faucets were antiquated and should be replaced.
That the management was very friendly and helpful and willing to wrk with us on rebook in and rates. That they don't have WiFi, there free breakfast was some packaged donuts and coffee. The room is pretty small.
The location The television in my room was not working. Room 226. I didn't try the television until I got back and was getting ready for bed. It was very disappointing.
The location I didn't l the fact that violate your privacy by giving your info to local cops!
We couldn't take the first room because it smelled so bad. They did switch us to a different room with no hassle. The smell in the second room was better, but could have used some febreeze. The room smelled of mildew and bleach. The Mattresses on both beds sagged in the middle before we even sat down. The shower was gross. The fire alarm was beeping, when I complained they said oh yeah a lot of them do that. I disconnected it and discovered it didn't have a battery at all.
It was convenient to several good restaurants, and the bus stop. Because of the Dayton Hamvention, complimentary breakfast was served on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I made my reservation and *paid for the room* on January 16th, when I arrived on May 19th they had lost my reservation. It took over two hours and another charge on my Visa to get into a room.
Location Very small. No clock radio. Air conditioning did not work. Sketchy people everywhere and not the friendliest staff. They don't even have a pop machine -_- not a great experience
even though it one star ever body is so nice and the rooms was clean and internet worked and the locating is so great right buy walmart aswell.
The desk attended was very nice and friendly it was a great location. The one lady that rush me to check out she was a laundry lady.
It was a decent price for the amount of time that I needed to stay. The room was smaller and different than the rooms in the pictures, there were stains on the covers on the bed, the air conditioner was off to everyone even though it was advertised in the description, there was a bug in the shower, the bathroom was dirty.
That the crackhead didn't bother guest Flophouse. Shelter.
