And while it puts the emphasis on relaxation and peace, it is right in the heart of the city. Guests are only a short distance from Tokyo Station and even closer to Otemachi Station. The Tokyo Haneda International Airport is around nine miles from the grounds, and such world-famous sites as the Imperial Palace, Tokyo Tower, and the Roppongi Hills are within two miles, as well.

And while you can easily explore the city on foot from the grounds, the remarkable design and amenities within the hotel will inspire you to explore it from top to bottom, too. It is a hotel in which every floor is designed to work like a ryokan – a space meant strictly for those inhabiting that floor. There is a central lounge, a constant supply of refreshments, books, and entertainment.

Amenities in the hotel include the hot springs and outdoor baths on the top floor, private gardens, free Wi-Fi throughout the premises, parking (for a fee), 24-hour front desk, meeting rooms and daily breakfast service in your private room.

Pros (+) Extremely quiet and serene. Beautiful onsen on the roof.
Cons (-) Fancy expensive dinner downstairs ruined by extended cellphone conversations at the other tables. Who needs to facetime with Mom in the middle of dinner??
