Pros: Quiet location and comfortable bed. Easy pedestrian access to Torrijos (if that's a good thing?!)
Cons: One of the blinds in the rom was broken, and obviously had been for some time. The TV could only produce one channel, TVE 1, and the Wi-Fi reception was lousy.
Cons: Vegan food, please. You tried to give us some options after we request, but not it was enough.
Pros: Bed very comfortable
Cons: We have stayed twice at the hotel recently and the evening food the first time was good but the second time the pork was tough on one of the meals.
Pros: Booked the hotel at 50% discount of advertised price so way exceeded our expectations. Dinner was superb, 3 course INCL 1 drink each. Reception staff very friendly and spoke excellent English. Large bedroom and bathroom. Very comfortable bed and quiet atmosphere. Spotlessly clean and large, fluffy towels. Breakfast well worth the extra payment. Adequate free parking. Wish we could have stayed longer to use the Spa facilities.
Pros: The room was very nice, plenty of space. It was absolutely red hot during the day 40 degrees. Still 33 degrees in the evening, the air con was fabulous, massive bonus as it turned out. Really nice meal in the restaurant and very good value
Cons: Our room had a small balcony, but it was a bit dirty. The room was spotless, so wasn’t to bothered about the balcony
Pros: This is a really lovely hotel on the edge of nice little town and with good parking right outside the hotel.
Cons: The only comment is that the room was a bit dark , even with all the lights on.
Pros: Beautiful building, interesting rooms
Pros: Breakfast was excellent

When you stay at Hotel El Mesón in Torrijos, you'll be 10 minutes by car from Maqueda Castle. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and an elevator (lift).
Cons: We couldn't sleep all night because the hotel have a nightclub that worked until dawn and we could hear the music in the room. We also ear a lot of noise from people and cars in the street. With a small child it becomes a worse situation!
Pros: Nice large room, large bed, sitting area, nice bathroom. Was superior room not a standard
Cons: Noisy children's party until gone midnight. Children running around corridor etc. Got moved to upper floor at 12.30....then had noise til 6am due to nightclub below and people slamming doors. ! Ate in bar, placed order and chased up after 30mins.....had not been done by kitchen. Busy However staff apologetic for delay with food and gave us free drink and reception helpful by finally moving our room.
Pros: Friendly woman on reception when we arrived. Excellent food (large portions!)
Cons: It was difficult to find our way into Torrijos, as the waymarks on the Camino de Levante disappeared, and we ended up crossing the highway through two concrete pipes.
When you stay at Hotel Castilla in Torrijos, you'll be 11 minutes by car from Maqueda Castle. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The pool and outdoor area was a fabulous way to spend the afternoon relaxing after a long drive.
Pros: We liked Cafeteria/Restaurant and lounge area.
Cons: The room we stayed at was quite outdated. Women who worked at the reception didn't speak english.
Pros: Room was clean. Parking was easy. Food in the cafeteria area was plentiful and reasonably priced. At last a hotel with proper lighting in the rooms.
Cons: Unfortunately my room was at the end of a corridor next to a filling station and above the cafeteria.
Pros: Nice bath and size of room plus the bar and food. English menu.
Cons: Room view see picture
Pros: Receptionist was kind and available, the place was quiet. There was parking space
Cons: The room was old and the window opened to the back street where was a garbage dump. during the night the smell of garbage was unbearable so we closed the window and used Ac, but there were still many flies in the room,
Pros: The rooms were good
Cons: There was a big party and was noisee
Pros: Easy to find
Pros: Bed was exceptionally comfortable. We had room 103 which is very elegant. This was our 4 th stay here, a stop over between Santander and the south which was our destination.
Pros: The hotel seems to have taken previous criticisms to heart. The staff were all friendly and cheerful. We were staying on a week-end night and were informed in advance by the hotel that the dinner menu would be more expensive than their weekday menus. In fact there were 2 differently-priced menus available. There is also a bar/café which serves food. We were happy with the restaurant (no TV!) and enjoyed our food and wine. The menus are in Spanish which we could have translated with the use of a phrasebook but the manager who speaks excellent English, came over to help us. I was pleased to see that information about meal-times was clearly displayed at reception and the receptionist explained what we needed to know about breakfast - collect tickets in the moring to take to the café/bar. Breakfast is continental - the tickets show what is available for the price. Our room was at the back with a balcony and there was no external noise. The bathroom had a decent-length shower screen so we didn't get water all over the floor. Everything was modern and the hotel deserves an extra tick because the mattress cover was not rubberised. Wi-fi worked fine. There is parking in front of the hotel.
Cons: We could hear some noise in the bathroom from the bathroom adjoining.
