Cons: No coffee maker in rooms and you can’t get coffee at the office until after 8:00, that’s not good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I've seen better breakfast, but there are several local restaurant where a hearty breakfast can be purchased. The location was perfect if you desire peace and quite as it is away from the commercialism of PF and Gatlinburg.
Cons: Since I travel with a friend who smokes we booked a room with a balcony thinking that she could smoke at that safe location; however, on check in we were informed that she could not smoke on the balcony. Also did not mention that this location did have one room where smoking was permitted. Since I booked this trip several months ago, had I known they had a smoking room. I would have booked it. Please update the site so others will know the options correctly.

Pros: Wow the staff! Everyone was so friendly and Christian, which you don’t see very often. Room and scenery was great! Everything was clean and peaceful!
Cons: Only thing was that there wasn’t much for breakfast. Bagels, pastries, cereal, and boiled eggs. Would’ve liked some eggs and bacon and such, but it was still great.

Pros: Well appointed room, views and spa tub. A sense, though, that the owner is cutting corners. For an expensive room, no toiletries beyond 2 bars of soap. Also, fireplace was not cleaned nor laid out for our use.
Cons: Breakfast...paying for a first rate stay, cold slice of white bread, packaged grape jelly, Freezing cold, unspreadable butter...nice egg and fresh fruit. Gorgeous view over mountains. However, Rebecca, the hostess from the night we arrived, prepared us a lovely romantic table, with a candle and cloth napkins, for our dessert that night. Very special , excellent desserts.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Tremont was wonderful! And a perfect place to stay when visiting Townsend, or even if you live there. The staff was exceptionally accommodating with very specific help and instructions for our afterhours arrival. And staff was always easy to find, from landscapers, housekeepers, and everyone in between. The room was adorable country feeling, while still being clean and immaculate. The jacuzzi was incredibly relaxing! (But it is a BIG tub, allow time to fill! Lol) they have family nights out in the yard to play movies and gather on the weekends. They close and convenient to everything in Townsend. Delicious breakfast across the street, scrumptious lunch and dinner to fill you to the brim. Then any activity you can imagine in any direction you head! (Horseback riding, zip lining, paintball, ATVS, Mountians, camping, lazar tag, arts and crafts, tubing.... the list goes on and on) I loved this place, and can’t wait to visit again!
Cons: I have nothing bad to say. Unless you hate nice, friendly people, and a nice clean, comfortable place to sleep. This place is for you.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Townsend is a great small friendly place, the lodge is lovely with nice rooms, balcony, pool. Short drive to cases cove. Great breakfast room - they started breakfast in July which is fantastic.
Cons: Not well signposted off main road in the dark.
6.8 Good
Pros: Nice bed and bedding. Clean. Good air conditioning unit. Quite surroundings.
Cons: The toilet set would not stay up. The bathroom door sticks. (Hard to open and close). Water pressure was low and the water wasn’t hot enough. Tv remote would change channels and turn off and on. But would not control volume. Key had to be programmed for the second night. Ice machine wasn’t where told. Had to go to another building to get ice.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was wonderful! The property has great potential.
Cons: They were renovating and it really wasn't quite ready yet.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable beds! Excellent continental breakfast; well maintained landscape. Our overall experience was great!
Cons: Our room needed updating, but they are in the process of remodeling.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were a great size. Very clean and comfortable. Pool was clean and wonderful. Grounds were well maintained.
Cons: The mosquitoes were heavy around our building in the shade but not in the rooms or around the pool
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: Good location
Cons: Very disorganized front desk. Reserved rooms were not available and the hotel was sold out for the weekend. All that was available were older rooms. The front desk person wanted to be sure we knew they were cheaper so we would get a better deal. Rooms were old and stuffy, coffee maker not working, no hair dryer, no decent door lock. Rooms still needed to be renovated. It was so bad the front desk person came running with air freshers for each of the two rooms we had. At check out the bill was higher than agreed upon at checking but check out person was different and couldn't do anything about it. Ended up paying over $100 a night for a bad room. Have had better rooms for 59.99 at a Red Roof in!
9.3 Excellent
Cons: Need waffle Maker
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I love how close it was to Gatlinburg and The smoky mountains ! Also how comfortable the beds were !
