6.7 Good
Pros: The rooms are stunning like something out of a fairytale. Each one is unique and it makes everything so special. The breakfast is probably the best I've had at any hotel. It is the perfect staycation, getaway or honeymoon hotel
Cons: The staff, on the other hand, were very unfriendly, unwilling to help, and condescending. Sometimes they acted like they didn't want you there. Some racists / offensive paintings on the wall that really should be taken down.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Super clean, lovely, spacious, historic mansion, filled with antiques &art: a journey through time!
Cons: The sauce on eggs benedict could be refined...:)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I love the walk through the garden and their hospitality, the owner took the time to walk over during breakfast and chat for a bit.
Cons: Our room was not vacuumed.....but not a deal breaker.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The grounds are a delight to walk. So beautiful, fragrant and surprising! The staff so welcoming, accomodating and cheerful. The pool was perfect temp and water quality. Vety peaceful and relaxing yet historic interesting venue. You can get a bit of the feel of what it would be like to have lived in the house when it was a private residence. The breakfast was a delicious morning feast. I have already recommended to several people.
Cons: The air conditioner in magnolia room was very loud. I had to turn it off to sleep
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was a beautiful setting, very relaxing. We like beautiful old homes. We thoroughly enjoyed walking the property and looking at the plantings.
Cons: The decor could use some refreshing in the main parts of the mansion.

Pros: Beautiful house, excellent breakfasts, great location close to everything but on a quiet street, knowledgeable and friendly staff. All around great b&b. Breakfast was delicious with great coffee, tea, and juice, fresh fruit, and hot entrees. Very accommodating host allowed us to check in early and store our bags after check out. Easy walking distance to both stadiums, Babe Ruth museum, and Lexington Market. Received recommendations for dinner and everything was on point. Highly recommend and would certainly stay here again.
Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: All was great.
Cons: Location was great for Camden Yards (2 minute walk) and short walk to Inner Harbor. Linda was super host, knowledgeable about history and great breakfast maker. She goes above and beyond.
7.5 Good
Pros: Linda the owner is an amazing woman who puts her heart into everything she does. I didn’t want to leave, I felt so at home and taken care of while I was there. And the house is insanely beautiful.
Cons: There was nothing bad about my stay. I will always go there when I travel to Baltimore.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent in every way. A class act.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is what I dreamed a Bed and Breakfast should be, but never experienced before. It is a restored historic home, with elegant appointments, spacious rooms, and modern amenities.
Cons: Some choices at breakfast, such as eggs instead of pancakes, would have been nice. I'm sure they would have accommodated me if I had asked ahead of time, but I didn't think to do so. Otherwise, everything was perfect!

7.0 Good
Pros: Liked the location & the outside seating area.
Cons: Furnishings were a little tired in the lobby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We wanted a hotel with a water view, the room was beyond our expectations for comfort and cleanliness.
Cons: Upon checking out we were hit with an extra charge for the wine that was supposed to be complementary in the evening and the 10 o’clock Grand Marnier party. I asked what if we did not partake in either one, they said we’re going to pay anyway. I felt this was very unfair and just milking us a little bit. Our room was cleaned very very late in the afternoon and the rubber mat was not returned to the bathtub nor were we given fresh shampoo and conditioner. The remote in the room is very confusing and shuts off the controller and we had a difficult time with turning the television on.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sexy room! All you need for a couples getaway is there. Restaurants and shopping. Great location!
7.1 Good
Pros: Great view of Inner Harbor. Great housekeeping (2x day), corridors and furnishings very nice. Convenient underground parking. Friendly staff.
Cons: Hated the fact there is no bar in lobby area. We tried on 4 occasions to go to bar just outside hotel or bar at top of hotel; there was no seating available. Upstairs bar more of a nightclub, with a tiresome routine to get in — though it did look like a nice place. Lobby always smells of food — bacon in the morning, steak in the evening— even though there’s no restaurant there. Lobby not welcoming, furniture sized for Oompa Loompas, no couches.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location cannot be beat. Also it's brand new so facilities are spotless
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great, fantastic location with stunning water views. TV screen on the bathroom mirror!!!!!

Cons: Zero
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing room and view of the harbour
Cons: The pool was closed for the season however this was not advertised clearly during the booking process
5.0 Okay
Cons: There were a few things that I was disappointed about given the reputation of the establishment along with the price...I paid roughly 1,300 for a room with a king sized bed and balcony with city view for 2 nights...the staff was great and the spa was relaxing but there were a few things that I felt were not acceptable from a Four Seasons...before walking into the room I noticed the wall paper was coming off the wall....after entering the room I noticed some of the furniture was chipped and in the bathroom some of the light fixtures were coming out of the wall...i also hard a difficult time accessing my ironing board because the closet would not open...in an attempt to open the closet I nearly cut my hand on an exposed nail that was sticking out of the broken mirror on the inside of the closet

Pros: The staff were very friendly, the room was very nice and good soundproofing. Breakfast was basic, yet quite satisfying. I would definitely book with them again.
Cons: On the second floor I could not get a wifi connection. I had an Apple and an Android and neither would connect. I called the front desk and the solution was that "devices are working down here" which is not outstanding customer service, but overall it was a minor inconvenience. Maybe boost the signal or at least offer to restart the router.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: BlancNoir was a perfect spot for my recent stay in Baltimore. The entry is unassuming, leading to a wonderful set of rooms/suites inside. The location is fantastic - in the heart of Little Italy, and just a 5-10 minute walk to the Inner Harbor. The room (New York) was very comfortable, spacious, beautiful bathroom with jacuzzi tub and a mutli-head shower. I really couldn't have asked for more. Thanks for a great stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Roomy, quiet, great neighborhood, bed so comfy
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfortable! The breakfast was excellent
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Tanya and Bill are consummate hosts. They are a wonderful couple who take pride in their facility. Breakfast was fabulous.
Cons: Everything was great. No complaints.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything about Blancnoir. From the time we arrived to the time we left it was very comfortable and inviting. We were welcomed right away. It had a home feel to it rather than the feeling of a hotel where you check in and go about your way. The knew which reservation I was and what room I was in. I would highly recommend this to anybody looking for a relaxing weekend away. We were only about a 5 minute walk from a lot of restaurants and plenty of things to do. The location couldn't have been any better, no busy streets right outside with a bunch of noise. The breakfast was a bit different being that we didn't know anybody at the table but it was fun once we started talking to one another. I will definitely be going back for another visit in the near future

4.2 Okay
Pros: Well I think it’s a beautiful building the hotel staff was all smiles / the Steak house staff. Entitled shouldn’t judge no smiles or curtesy. We choose customer participation. Haha yes we retrieved our items lounge service
Cons: Just unfortunately very over rated. Room dirty pool grille Not very over the top and lack of welcoming in Restaurant. Hotel Staff Awesome
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely property and location, truly a gem. Great vibe.
Cons: Sadly our room was never made up when we returned for the evening at 5:30. Housekeeping was still on the floor getting rooms ready. Room service trays from breakfasts left I halls not picked up. Not what is to be expected for this type of property and price. Staff was apologetic, trying to do best, but it appears they may be understaffed for the job.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is fantastic. We typically stay at the Four Seasons while in Baltimore but decided to give the Pendry a try this stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: High class. All details covered. Beautiful rooms with bath heated floors. Overlooking harbor.
Cons: It was so exceptional that our next Hotel on our trip was less exciting. Thanks
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The views were great despite it being cold and grey outside. The restaurant was beautiful. Though we only had drinks at the bar, I would have eaten there if we had more time. It was refreshing to stay in a hotel that has a great window with beautiful street views and lots of light. The rooms were just right for two of us. I really liked the couch on the end of the bed as a nice touch for hanging out at the end of the evening.
Cons: Honestly not much. We stayed in the courtyard view rooms on the second floor and the only downside is that you really need to keep the blackout blinds drawn almost all the time or else you are looking into someone else's eyes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I like the fact that once we got to the hotel we forgot about the fact that we were 3 minutes away from the hotel, but, it took one hour for us to get there due to the festival activities.
Cons: Did not like the fact that we had no prior warning of Street festival which closed all Streets/access to the hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely stunning hotel. Gorgeous and comfortable and was upgraded to waterfront. Staff was helpful and friendly, nice touches like macarons and stuffed animals for my kids. Everything was lovely. Can't wait to return.
Cons: Nothing

Cons: Valet

8.0 Excellent
Pros: I enjoyed the location, was within walking distance of the harbor and lots of restaurants.
Cons: Beware of using towels or washcloths for Make up because when they were cleaning my room while we were out enjoying our day they called and stated they would be charging my card an additional $12 for stains on a washcloth! I felt like the price was too steep and they did not give me the towels but stated they would watch them so I was confused
9.7 Excellent
Pros: From the minute I entered the hotel I was made to feel very welcome. I was greeted at the front desk by Raj and his supervisor who allowed me to choose a snack from the pantry as a welcome gift for staying there. The bedroom was clean and modern. It was located near everything so easy to walk to everything in the inner harbor
Cons: A block away fron the hotel are some strip clubs. I was there on a Saturday and didn't hear a thing. If you walk on the other side of the hotel you can avoid seeing. They also had Fox News showing at breakfast. Literally any other channel would have been better.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Its an amazing hotel! Really really good. Excelent service, food, staff are very kind. Comfortble and big bedrooms! Everything is awesome!!!
Cons: Nothing!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, property, room, location and breakfast all met my expectations. As such I will not hesitate or recommend to friends or others when seeking a property in Baltimore.
Cons: All met or exceeded my expectations!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great bed, with amazing pillows. Also, the breakfast was amazing.
Cons: They should hold the evening reception on more days
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I never did eat the breakfast but everything else was top notch! The staff is outstanding and so friendly!! Great location. We walked the inner harbor both nights! just very close to everything. If you have no limitations for walking you can leave your car parked and walk to everywhere you need.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and staff.
Cons: Night noises from other rooms’ pipes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel room was nice and clean and very comfortable to stay in and the staff were great. Very short walk to the aquarium. I would stay there again.
Cons: Nothing it was great
6.0 Good
Pros: Good location, large suite with separated bath and bedroom.
Cons: The room smelled like cat pee and when we complained about it, nothing was done.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room felt spacious without being cavernous. The ceilings are very high, giving a very open feel to a modest space. The kitchen is a great plus; I saved a heap of money by cooking in the room. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and I loved that there was always coffee available. The location was excellent for my needs; the National Aquarium, Baltimore World Trade Center, and Inner Harbor were a short 4 to 5 (depending on how quickly the light changes) minute walk away. There's also practical places like CVS pharmacy and Marshall's at the same 4 walk away.
Cons: The view from my room was a parking garage. On one of the nights I stayed, there were people people in the parking garage speaking loudly. I don't blame the hotel for the incident, but if I stayed there again I would ask for a room with a different view.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff, the room itself and the hotel itself are very nice. The problem lies in the location.
Cons: Location of my room. Read my synopsis.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: It is clean, quiet, the staff are nice, they provide free breakfast and happy hour snacks. It is an excellent value. Despite the things I didn’t like, I would stay here again overnight.
Cons: There is a sign touting the new beds (mattresses) in each room, so I didn’t investigate why it felt like I was sleeping in a trench until the morning, which hurt my back - when I found a full length vertical indent in the mattress. It is so deep that it feels like the mattress is in two pieces there. This mattress definitely needs to be replaced. They put a $150 hold on your credit card, which reverts when you check out. I happened to be checking out on the day my credit card closes for the month, so I don’t know if the charge will be off my mo they bill. I can afford it, but this could be a nasty surprise for someone. I’ve never encountered a charge this high before. There is a basic kitchen in the room, which is great, but the refrigerator hummed softly. It is basically white noise, but, still. There is free breakfast in the lobby, which is great - but some coffee and tea packets in the room would be nice. The temperature is adjustable, and I cranked it up and turned the fan down to the lowest setting, but I could not get what felt like air conditioning to stop. The room was acceptably warm, but no where like the temperature right outside or what I set it at. The walls are thin enough that I could hear the young child in the next room, but that’s true everywhere. I have never seen so much brown decor, which is certainly not uplifting.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about our stay at 2920 was fabulous. I do not know where to begin when saying what a wonderful place this was. Warren and David were the best hosts that you could ask for. They prepared a great and surprising breakfast each morning leaving your imagination wondering what surprises they had up their sleeves for the next day. The room was perfect size and well air-conditioned it also was very clean and tidy. We even had Felix the goldfish to keep us company even though he did not say much (LOL). I would recommend 2920 to anyone visiting this area.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was within walking distance of the water, restaurants
10.0 Excellent
Pros: David and Warren were very welcoming. Prior to my visit I was not certain about my arrival time, so I sent a couple of (potentially annoying) messages and they were very fast to respond, friendly, and easy to work with. Breakfast was very nice; however, let them know in advance if you are meat or pork free.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quality of service and attention to details.
Cons: Nothing great stay

Pros: Location to the Aquarium was great. Was a safe 10 minute walk, along the beautiful waterway, to the aquarium. Our room overlooked the harbor. Was a beautiful view. Breakfast buffet was wonderful. Made to order omlettes and waffles. Dining room was along the water. Heated indoor pool was small, but was clean and the view from the pool overlook area was beautiful. There was a lifeguard on duty. Because there were rooms available, our room was upgraded much to our delight. Thank you Marriott staff members! Made for a memorable trip!
Cons: There was confusion with our breakfast buffet being included in the price of the room as stated in our reservation. But, the hotel staff took care of it for us.

Pros: The staff was amazing and very helpful. We had an issue with our AC and they could not fixed it and they moved us to a new room with an upgrade.
Cons: There was absolutely nothing I did not like about the property
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in a room with a great view! The food was exceptional and the room was beautiful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous room! We paid to upgrade to a harbor view, and watching the sunset was spectacular. We walked to our restaurant and noted the many security guards (all of whom greeted us) and well lit plaza downtown. Nice pool, sauna and gym, too!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is spacious and clean. Easy access to the restaurants at the inner harbor. Stayed there for business and the room is equipped with multiple power outlets and a desk for working.
Cons: No free water bottle. One can get water from the ground floor, close to the elevator. But it runs out in the evening. Otherwise, there are no other issues.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location , reception staff excellent. Free wine hour nice touch.
Cons: Confusing breakfast arrangement and poor off-hand staff supervisor.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: It was right in front of the harbor.
Cons: I had brought up my concern of having bed bug bites on my back which was taken lightly and I didn’t appreciate how the staff(front desk) handled the whole situation.
7.0 Good
Pros: The room was lovely, large and very comfortable with a fantastic view
Cons: The main reception on entering looked old and tired, the bar was very bright with a quiz taking place when we wanted to have a quiet drink prior to dinner. On coming back for a nightcap the barman advised that he was closed and it was not possible...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I usually stay in hotels of less quality. The price was great and value was outstanding
Cons: Should let valet take care of parking

Cons: No

8.9 Excellent (757 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Discover a downtown Baltimore hotel in one of the city’s oldest and most charming neighborhoods. Amid the grand mansions of Maryland’s 19th-century movers and shakers, this national landmark historic district is now home to vibrant theaters, museums, galleries, shops and restaurants.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean room, modern bathroom, nice rooftop restaurant, unique decor, nice area
Cons: Nothing
7.4 Good
Pros: This hotel has a great location and friendly staff. It has a nice, old-fashioned feel which gives it a romantic quality for the price. The decor and furniture are attractive and classic, albeit a bit shabby when examined closely. We were particularly impressed with the bathroom in our corner room, which was filled with marble tiles and a towel warmer. Everything was clean and pleasant. The bar/restaurant attached is a nice place for cocktails as well, especially as a warm-up for a night out in the wonderful area of Mt. Vernon. This neighborhood is desirable for those from out of town, and this hotel provided good prices and an overall pleasant stay.
Cons: Parking can be an issue; they have valet service (for between $20-$35) that I recommend to anyone not familiar with the neighborhood (we had lived around the corner years before, so knew how to find good parking sports). Additionally, we were staying during an extremely cold (below average temperatures) weekend, and found everything to be a little chilly. On top, we found that the bed was made with only three small pillows and a thin blanket (fine for one person, but there were two of us). When we asked for an extra blanket and pillows later that night, the front desk sadly informed us that they had run out due to a high demand of requests. While they were very sorry, it does seem strange that they had dressed the bed in so few pillows and blankets to begin with, though I understand the need to go for a more minimalist approach in order to conserve energy, etc (and do respect that).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing hotel in a quit zone of Baltimore. The staff has been very gentle with us, they gave us an upgrade in the room (we were on the 7th floor with a wonderful view on the city). There is the possibility to let the car in a private parking (38$ for the overnight).
Cons: I'd suggest to improve the mechanism of breakfast (we had it included in the price), there could be some misunderstanding with the guys at the bar on the roof.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: LOCATION Beautiful view of the square. Room décor very nice. BED very comfortable. Too much street noise on a Tuesday morning, and was on the 9th floor. Staff friendliness upon arrival.
Cons: No coffee service for the morning, LACK of service at the square meal for breakfast. Street noise waking me early on a Tuesday morning.
4.5 Okay
Pros: It's in a good location.
Cons: Hotel is old and well-worn - in desperate need of a rehab. Despite the Joie de Vivre name, the desk clerk on our arrival was decidedly not happy. We booked a two-bed room and got a king with a too-short foldaway cot, and on one of the coldest days of the year they did not have any spare blankets, so we were given three sheets instead. For $80 a night it would have been ok - for twice that, it was a ripoff.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: good
Cons: Staff
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Hard to get bags in and out due to stairs. No help.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room, the bed, the hotel look, the staff.
Cons: The breakfast was just ok.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: nice bed, room
Cons: no room service past 8. Not a lot of food options..... understaffed!
5.0 Okay
Pros: The staff was nice, which mildly made up for the fact that it's a stretch to call this place a functional hotel. It's more of a room you can rent with the possibility of staff who can compensate poor planning
Cons: They had no clue how to be a hotel. Room service menu in the room, associated with the restaurant in the hotel... no one answered the room service, so I went to the restaurant and asked if we could order the full menu to the room...they said maybe?
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: Horrible customer service! Tons of attitude and talking back. I stayed there for 5 nights, and my room wasn't cleaned at all 2 days out of those. The front desk lady told me in the end of the day that it wasn't her job to clean, that all the cleaning stuff was out for the day, and that there was no manager I could talk to on premises. She told me to just suck it up and wait till the next day (I am not exaggerating !). When I asked her if cleaning services were supposed to be included in my daily room charges, she said yes. Then there was the ongoing issue with them not replenishing toiletries at all even so that was also included in the daily room charges. All and all, this could of been a great hotel if all the front desk staff was replaced or retrained
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Every design detail was amazing, I would decorate my house in everything here! Such a cool place. Food and drinks were also great.

Pros: The location is fantastic! We were able to walk to a restaurant near by, get to our concert venue by foot from there, and then circle back to the hotel afterwards, all within 5 minutes of each other. Rooms were very clean and the decor was not overwhelming. Bathrooms were beautiful and clean. The view was great with just enough “city lights” to give our room a nice nightlight type glow.
Cons: I feel like the room would have been more complete with a mini fridge.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Rooms & breakfast,location,lounge area.
Cons: Pets
1.0 Poor
Pros: The convenience of the location to where we had to be early the next morning but not one thing about the hotel. The person at the time of check out was polite.
Cons: Everything about the room. It was disgusting from top to bottom. The sheets were clean looking but smelled of smoke and the tub was clean- burn marks all over the side as if someone put their cigarette on the tub while using the toilet. ( we were in a non smoking room). There was brown substance on the wall and in 2 spots on the door frame of the bathroom where something was smeared. The carpet was deplorable-stains, I did not allow my dog to walk on the carpet because he doesn’t wear shoes to protect his feet. The carpet had visual white stains next to the bed, all around the floor and on the night stand. There was a dime near the ac unit/heater that had been there for a very long time by looking at the build up of dirt etc that was on top of it. I am unclear how booking.com or the Days In can be in association/ put their names on such a place and not have any checks in place. There were some storage containers in the area- as in maybe there are going to be some renovations happening, do yourselves a favor, tear the place down and start from scratch. There is no reason for the filth- you have a cleaning service - make sure they are doing their job. By the price we did not think we would be getting up to date/high end, but one would still expect that a room be cleaned before paying guests arrive. The woman who checked me in was not your best foot forward, had very little customer service skills, but did give me a working key card. That is the best ‘compliment’ I can offer for her.
