We liked the location. It was nice to be able to be right downtown. First the pool was closed for re modeling. Why would you close the pool during the middle of summer? We were hoping to at least have a refrigerator in the room. Having to pay full price for parking during the weekends was shady since I could've parked a couple of blocks down the road and paid $2. I told the valet I didn't want to continue my valet parking after 1 night and they charged me for all 4 nights. The king size bed was uncomfortable and didn't have a fitted sheet so every night we had to get up and fix the bed so we weren't laying directly on mattress.
The lobby is nice The location is quite central Free basic Internet The smell - step off of the 6th floor elevator and it smells like a squirrel died in one of the walls The rooms are TINY. The bathroom doesn't even have a counter The furniture is beaten up. The TV stand looked like it had been used as a chopping block This place has seen better days - it has no business being under the Hyatt/Regency trade mark
Take this hotel off your list especially if you might need any assistance from the Bell Staff or Valet. Experienced non-existing service on last 2 visits. Staff not busy and chapping with each other but don't expect them to even offer to help with any luggage or items you are carrying in or out. Not what I thought was standard for Hyatt but I now know different.
The Christmas decirations Nothing
Desk staff was great. Offered complimentary appetizer via room service as gift to celebrate birthday of son (reason for trip). Cleanliness of room somewhat lacking. Doors to bathroom slide together. Didn't 'match' thus privacy greatly limited for both aural and visual. Room small. No little half refrigerator or microwave. Just expected a few more room perks for $300 a night tab. Most I've ever paid for hotel room this small.
The breakfast was dope, the beds were great, employees are some of the best. Rooms don't have have refrigerators for some reason and the ac hardly worked.
Good location and decent price. No fridge in room.
Decent value for the money, but much better hotels in the vicinity if willing to spend a little more.
This motel is in a good location, just off I-85. It is easy to find and easy to get in and out. Plenty of restaurants are close by. The staff was friendly and courteous. Our room was clean. The bed was comfortable. Shampoo, soap, etc were available from dispensers rather than small bottles, which I had not seen before, but I really liked. Towels, etc., were very good. We did not try the free breakfast (slept late) but it appeared to be the standard fare. Overall it is a good value for the money. I would stay there again. A couple of minor nit-picks: The fixtures in the bathtub were loose, including the shower spout (but the shower was great!). The safe did not work, which meant I just had to carry a couple of small items with me.
clean rooms friendly staff soft beds close to ALOT of shopping cant wait to come back here smaller sized pillows so have to mess with em a bit to get good support if u like alot of support had 4 on my king bed hotel seems a bit older and the walls are not as soundproof as a new build of today but the ac and tv drown out 90% of it
Conveniently located next to the freeway and near local restaurants Attracts lots of young families and loud patrons.
Loved the layout and very spacious with everything we needed. Brought the dog and it was perfect. Great value! Bed could have been a little more comfortable.
VERY nice room (especially for the price we paid). The staff was courteous, the free breakfast was very nice. And, most importantly, the bed was extremely comfortable! The hot water in the shower was scalding hot. Fortunately, I checked it before jumping in. That's a minor complaint on an otherwise excellent stay.

New modern clean great location Rooms are small
The comfortable bed and pillows were memorable, as were the location, funky vibe, pet accessibility and pet amenities, workout facility, view and lounge with entertainment on the weekends… I've stayed here before and always love my experience. We loved it all.

The front desk clerk was extremely helpful and energetic. The check out clerk was pleasant as well. The window coverings were stuck in the up position. there was no cord or remote(?) to bring them down at night. The City lights were a disturbance while trying to fall asleep.
Location, pool, cleanliness The power went out about 10pm - came back on about 2 hrs later. When I checked out the next AM not a word was said which I thought was odd. It wasn't a huge inconvenience but I think worth noting, maybe offering free parking or free coffee.
Great location in beautiful and fun Greenville! Convenient parking, friendly staff and good value Sliding doors in bath and closet are noisy- but that is not too big of a deal.

small, comfortable room, very comfortable bed. Great location! Walls are so thin. I could hear neighbors opening their windows. It's like your neighbors are inside your room with you. I could hear their phones ding from receiving a text message. Poor quality building materials in an otherwise perfect room.
The DirectTV was nice. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. I noticed an air pump in the parking garage, which was nice. This hotel is trying so hard to be trendy it's painful. They use a spray in the lobby area that gives it a 'signature' aroma. I could taste it in the ice (comes pre-bagged in mini-freezers in the hallway. Biggest complaint is the lack of water pressure.
I was not expecting this hotel to be as nice as it was. The price was very good, and the experience was even better.
I appreciated the amenities ... including the breakfast menu where especially the scrambled egges were delicious and hot. I loved the variety of both the breakfast and the evening 'snacks'. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great stay and look forward to returning to one of your facilities in the future!
Clean rooms, friendly staff and a very nice hot breakfast. Front doors of hotel are locked at night for increased security, even though thet front desk is manned 24hrs. All you need is your room key to get through the front doors when returning late. Would definitely stay here again.
Loved this place. Was a great place for my 15 year old twin grandsons. Great breakfast, light dinner, and popcorn and drinks for snack. Beautiful place, from the lobby to the rooms. Just wished we had this hotel more in the Southern region.
We couldn't have asked for more in a hotel! I truly felt as if I were at a super expensive hotel, when I really got an excellent deal. Where else can you get 3 free alcoholic beverages, and DINNER for FREE between 5:30-7:00 EVERY NIGHT?!?!?! Only at the Drury! Staff was excellent, rooms immaculately clean. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!!!! Close to EVERYTHING!!!! You won't be sorry :)
This was our first stay with Drury Inn and if they are all this nice, it won't be our last. We were on the 7th floor on the side away from the interstate which was very quiet. Very fast elevators make quick trips to the lobby. Friendly helpful staff. Even janitors say hello like the staff takes pride in the hotel. Maybe they give them stock in the company? Fluffy soft pillows and comfortable beds. Not too firm like some other chains. Temp control by thermostat worked great. Everything looked new. Really nice pool with indoor/ outdoor feature. You can swim from one side to the other and pool seemed to be heated, although I don't know for sure. Three treadmills in the exercise room and one bike. Felt roomy compared to others I have seen. B'fast area was particularly spacious. They have free hot popcorn in the afternoon/ evening and drinks served for business travelers. The hotel is right off the interstate south of 85. Lots of great restaurants across the street like PF Chang, Mimi's Cafe, Longhorns, etc. Big plus for us was that they allow small pets. We didn't have any negatives with this hotel and would definitely stay there again. I noticed several vans from local colleges picking up parents on a visit so it must be popular with the campuses. If you have time, drive into Greenville for a mini hike along the Reedy River (name?) that runs through it.
Spent the night at this hotel two different times and was pleased with the facility and complimentary breakfast.
no complaints, great experience, people were all very nice and accomodating
This was the first time we have ever stayed at a Drury Inn. We always stayed at Embassy Suites, but here it was $40-$60 cheaper a night than Embassy. We still got our breakfast, maybe not as big as Embassy but it had all you needed then some. I cannot say enough about the staff...They were wonderful. Everyone spoke to you, asked how everything was and just talked to you like they were very interested in you. This was by far the BEST hotel staff we have ever encountered!! Kudos to the staff and management team. We will definately staff there again!. The 5:30 meal was awesome with free food and drinks. Enough to make a meal and save even more!
I would definitely recommend this hotel for a perfect getaway romantic or with children. I hope to take my child one weekend because I loved it so much.
Clean, comfortable, Free wifi. Has an outdoor pool but didnt get to use it. Breakfast could have been better. I would prefer if they reduce the price and not provide breakfast.
Second time staying at this location. I enjoy the fact that the hotel was just seconds away from the highway which made it really convenient to get downtown. The free breakfast was nice. I love that the TV plays ocean/rainforest sounds so I can relax at night. The parking is a little bit of an issue. If you don't get there before to late then you are finding yourself hiking to the nearest entrance. I did have an issue with my key this time. I had to hike to the rear entrance and it did not work. Then to the entrance and it still did not work. So I had to literally almost circle the hotel to use the front entrance and wait to be buzzed in. Staff resolved issue quickly. The breakfast is nice but not a lot to choose from except carbs.
We stayed here several nights well in town for a wedding. The hotel was very clean, rooms were spacious with a small refrigerator and microwave. They had a small gym, which I used, all equipment was in working order. The area with the Pool and hot tub were very clean. Large assortment for breakfast and it was all compliments of the hotel. The staff was very nice! Very close to the highway making getting around very easy. We had to travel into the city of Greenville for two nights (for convenience to walk to events we attended) and stayed at a 5 star hotel that cost us twice what we pd. here and they had none of the amenities I described above ( except they too had a gym). Very relaxing atmosphere and clean!! Would definitely come back to stay here while in Greenville again.
Convenient location for my purposes. I stayed 7 nights. The housecleaning was below par. They didn't vacuum even though the floor (my fault) got dirty once. The refrigerator barely kept items below room temp. Informed front desk. They supposedly worked on it but it never worked right.
The location was good. An easy drive to downtown. Our room had an adjoining door to the room next to us. The people in that room had their tv on loud all night long. The room also smelled when we got there. The combination of these 2 caused a bad night's sleep.
Beds were comfortable. Hot breakfast options were the same each day for the week. Kind of boring.
The room was clean. The mattress was unusually soft. Also the front desk failed to provide directions when asked, that would allow us to connect to the hotel's wi-fi service.
Extremely pleasant customer service from all areas of the Hotel. Very friendly people who were bending over backwards to assist our travels - more than satisfied.
The thing I love most about Marriott, are the very comfortable beds. It's always clean, and the staff is professional. Charging $$ for wifi, in this day and age, is robbery.
Room was clean and well laid out Entire hotel under renovation. The entire courtyard, restaurant, front desk, etc. was in temporary and unsatisfactory areas. We had visited last year and only returned because of a good impression. If I had know about the renovations, would have stayed elsewhere.
Breakfast, manager's reception, pools, atmosphere, aesthetics.
Loved the breakfast and space. Like the location Too noisy. 2 nights we were there there were parties and it was loud until 12:30 am
Nice sized bed and room and was very clean The lights in the front part of the room wouldn't turn on which thus made the room rather dark
Suite itself was fine, once we got to it. Sent to suite at first with handicapped bathroom (no vanity in bathroom) and had to request another suite. Entire atrium/lobby area under construction, only 1 of 3 elevators working and signs indicating which one were wrong - so long walks around atrium to wrong elevator and back, then very long waits for very crowded elevator. Corridors partially obstructed by construction materials/equipment, construction crews competing with guests/staff for 1 elevator in service.
The bed was comfortable. Toilet flushed. Marble counter around the sink was nice. Non-smoking room smelled of smoke and was musty. Room carpet, walls, and comforter had stains. Shower was rusted with cracks in tiling on wall and floor of bathroom. Bug ran out from under bed upon sitting on it. 3/4 inch gap between bottom of door and floor. Enough for anything to crawl in. Skipped breakfast because the lobby where it was served smelled of smoke and body odor. Desk attendant was in no hurry to get us checked-in or out. Desk attendant asked person in front of us in line if they wanted to rent a safe for valuables.
I've stayed at this location twice, both times no sleep...the walls are paper thin. The breakfast was okay, and the coffee is good!
Location was good All Lights were not working in the room. Room was adjacent to another room's door , Clear sounds from other rooms were there. While booking online , it showed me Quality Inn , However after booking on same address it became Greenville suites Inn . Receptionist was too slow at her work , about 20 minute i had to wait in queue while only one person was ahead of me. People behind me were also annoyed of her slow rather slowest work . I won't repeat to stay there again , would spend more to stay at better facility....sorry
It was the staff that wasn't paid that consistently popped (ROACHES!!!!!!!!!) We stayed for 3 nights. Don't get me wrong for the price... I expected the sandpaper feel on the towels, the cheap soap, the mildew on the bathroom baseboards as well as the stench of old carpet that will be on my clothes for the rest of my life.... but the continuous unwanted greeting from the unpaid staff of roaches was a bit much ROACHES!!!!!!!!!
The bed was good and it was a good value. People had smoked in the non-smoking room.
king bed room with extra pull out couch, two tvs frig and micro .. staff was great had a great stay will use them again...
Staff was friendly. Place was clean. Great location. Great price
Location. Staff atmosphere. Breakfast
The lobby was very nice and the staff was very friendly. Our room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Burn marks on carpet. The upholstered chair had a slash in it, and there were large cobb webs in the corner.
About on a par with some of the less expensive national chains - Clean, functional, no frills. I was in it for less than 12 hours. Included breakfast limited but ok. Lighting in room was harsh and glaring. Only one inconveniently located electrical outlet made phone charging awkward. Shower a bit difficult to operate. Tap water tasted and smelled of chlorine but this may not be hotel's fault.
This property is conveniently located just off the interstate near Hendersonville, Flat Rock Playhouse, Carl Sandburg home...not terribly far from Ashville. In other words it is in a lovely location. The staff are delightful and made the stay most enjoyable. It truly is a pleasant place to stay without having to overspend. While our room was clean and had a nice décor, the "bathroom basket" only had a shampoo..no conditioner, etc. Also, was disappointed no pool or exercise room.
Staff were welcoming and friendly and the room was spacious comfortable and very clean. The atmosphere was quiet and family oriented
We've been to plays at the Peace Center 3 times and we always stay across town at the Sheraton so it was a nice surprise to find a nice hotel w/great staff, closer location, great complimentary breakfast (one of the comps we loved about Sheraton) and breakfast staff. Great room, beds and comfort. Already making plans for our next stay. I didn't like that when I changed my reservation from 2 days to 1 day the price went up $10 because supposedly my room was no longer available. Also, although we found a table right away at breakfast it was a little cramped and limited seating at breakfast rush hour. Also I wish the staff had a broader knowledge about eating places besides just pointing us across the street.
Location was fantastic, There was a long line for check in and at the $200 per night price point I expected something a little nicer than a standard hotel room.
great room with a great view
Very pretty area, nice outward appearance. Nice grounds, some thoughtful appointments. Some maintenance issues, 'the little things' were off. Everything was fine, but the 'lodge' part was more decoration.
The breakfast wasn't edible.
This was a great place to stay with clean, well appointed suites. The grounds are well kept and reminiscent of a mountain getaway. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I would say this was an excellent value and we enjoyed our stay. This is trifling, but I wish there were napkins or paper towels in the kitchen.
The only thing I didn't like was there wasn't ventilation in the bathroom. Besides that, beautiful place, and great staff!
The staff was friendly and very clean location! It wasn't free
Continental breakfast was acceptable for a eat and dash; but went to local restaurant for additional days. The scrambled eggs - not so good.
A very pleasant stay, most comfortable rooms, free internet is a must these days, I don't mind paying 350$ for a hotel but if they want to fleece you for internet access i leave. Similarly for parking. You hasve a winner as far as IO am concerned. Will stay again.
Great hotel with a nice pool Everything was pretty good
People were nice and location was great. Low price. Room so old and not updated in the last 30 years. Furniture matched the bed skirt and curtains. Carpet was so old it felt dirty.
Service was good. Rooms were desperately in need of updating.
Great value and the staff was really nice. Room was clean and beds comfy. Good breakfast is the morning also. That the website said free shuttle to downtown and they don't offer it anymore.
Nothing. Stayed one night. Dead roach on floor in room is better than a live one, wall paper peeling off walls through entire room not just in bathroom. Moldy grout in shower. Someone else's hair in bed... Standard def TV. Worth the price of a motel 8. Dont be fooled, This is one to two star motel.
The bed was comfortable Very outdated room.
It felt clean, warm and safe. Very friendly front desk staff. I got the type of stay I anticipated with the relative low cost on a last minute February 13 booking. I'd stay again if I was hard up for cash. The comfort of the beds (we had 2 doubles) thinks they may only be classified as actual sleep-able beds in a third world country or a prison. In the first world, they are merely hard, unforgiving horizontal surfaces that makes one wonder why it is a better option than crashing on the floor. I love showering at hotels because of the endless hot water and it was definitely the case at Phoenix. However, the hot and cold shower knobs were so sensitive and finicky that it was either frigid or lobster cooking scalding.
Convenient location to TD Convention Center. Decent breakfast included. Fair price. Excellent staff..Pretty grounds. Decor out-dated. Wallpaper and border peeling. Mold between 2 layers of shower curtain. Faded fabric on chair and ottoman. Gaps in door to outside. Long, growing stain on ceiling --- probable leaking after heavy rain. Family at breakfast Tuesday morning had to move table because ceiling was dripping on father. Strongly needs maintenance and room updates. Room doors open directly to outside.
Despite calling at noon to let the hotel know I was going to be arriving quite late, when I arrived they gave me key cards to a room that had no sheets and a pile of empty water bottles on the side table in the room. Room # 2 was on a completely vacant side of the hotel and the room smelled of a combination of smoke, mildew and really offensive air freshener. I am a guy who can sleep just about anywhere for a night, but not this place - fortunately there was another hotel across the street that had a room. Would actually sleep in my car before taking a room here
Staff was very attentive to requests Whole facility was terribly dated. Carpet looked dirty and threadbare
