Pros: The hotel is fairly new with 6 floors and ground level parking. We had a bedroom with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed. Floors could use some sweeping and washing. The hotel is laid out ok, but the walk to the beach is a killer walking on sea shells, especially without shoes. The pool should have been bigger! There's a restaurant on site- food was ok.

We spent more time there than we anticipated. The Residence Inn breakfast did not disappoint! Staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. Pros: The property is well maintained. I enjoyed the out door covered lounging area. The refrigerator surprisingly holds a lot. The grills available and were completely clean. Leanna was very accommodating and help. The cleaning crew was very polite. More than adequate seating around the swimming pool. This environment was warm and friendly lending itself to friendly conversations with other guest. All in all, this was a great experience close to St. Johns Pass and Madiera Beach by car or Uber. Lot within 3 miles.

It was fun getting to know the other guests, our best eatery was Dockside Daves, a great seafood place just down the road. My one regret was we did not get to meet Terris the owner.

Cons: The day we arrived the health department closed the pool. No chlorine. Management stated they would have up and running next day, two days later when we left, still not open. Dog next door, owners gone all day, dog constantly barking and scratching at bathroom door. Had to close our bathroom door just to make slightly tolerable. No one at the office when we arrive nor for the rest of the day. Could not connect my tablet to the internet. Stated it was connected but try to get on line states no internet connection. Location was great but that is the only good thing we can say about this property. Would NOT recommend and will NOT return to this property.

Pros: The property is well maintained. I enjoyed the out door covered lounging area. The refrigerator surprisingly holds a lot. The grills available and were completely clean. Leanna was very accommodating and help. The cleaning crew was very polite. More than adequate seating around the swimming pool. This environment was warm and friendly lending itself to friendly conversations with other guest. All in all, this was a great experience close to St. Johns Pass and Madiera Beach by car or Uber. Lot within 3 miles.

It was fun getting to know the other guests, our best eatery was Dockside Daves, a great seafood place just down the road. My one regret was we did not get to meet Terris the owner.
Cons: Our room looked a bit smaller than some of the others but it was still fine, I cannot say I disliked anything.

Cons: The entire facility is beautiful and the location is great! This was my third time staying here. However, the one free parking space you get is first come first serve, Parking spaces were so small that if you could squeeze into a spot, you might not be able to get out of your car. I spent my entire trip worrying about my car. Also, I have never stayed anywhere where paying customers were physically locked out of the pool area at sunset. The one remaining covered area was constantly taken up by the staff and their friends. There are actually prices posted in the kitchen with values assigned to each and every item in the room (towels, silverware, cups, etc) if it's lost, stolen, not cleaned, etc. Too many rules, and when I voiced my concerns about my car and lack of parking spot, the staff couldn't have cared less. I will not be back.

We had to change our dates last minute and didn’t allow us to use the room we originally picked. They gave us a couple options to pick our room when we arrived. Over all the rooms are large and not all of them are up to date; However, the combination of the price and location makes it one of the best places stay. Most of the fancier high rise resorts beaches were had more crowded beaches. Definitely would recommend!

Your right on the beach .all the restaurant and stores are right on the same street.the only thing I didnt like was that the a/c was not central it was a box a/c that was in the livingroom.so our room didn't have a/c so we got up hot .we dealt with it.we still enjoyed our stay.I think all they needed was a extra fan in that room.the room had two full size bed and a sofa bed .with a stove and refrigerator and sink .

HOWEVER, If you want to relax and REALLY experience a slice of an old Florida Beachside hotel. This is the place for you. The rooms are clean and cozy, the beds are comfortable with great pillows, the pool is clean and wasn't too crowded when we went, the tiny tiki bar was nice and it's RIGHT there overlooking the beach. There is a wonderful beachside sidewalk that winds past all the other hotels and beachfront bars so you can enjoy a walk or bike ride at sunset! At just Two stories with a lovely landscaped courtyard in the middle, it's truly a little slice of Old Florida. I should know, I was born and raised here!
