Temperature in the room was exelent. Room and bed were clean.

I think with little more effort breakfast could be better. Nothing salty. No ham, cheese etc.

Been there before, I like the place, it is an old fashioned hotel, I feel at home there. The location near the railway station and only ten minutes walk from the center is ideal for me.

There is just a bathroom for almost 10 rooms. During our one night stay the bathroom was never cleaned and toilet paper was missing.

The heating system was broken and the staff unable to fix it. It was freezing in both areas of the suite and extremely uncomfortable.

The room was surprisingly big and with kitchen, so it's good for a longer stay. The bathroom was big also. The location is great! We could see the sea from our window.

It was really hard to find a parking space, but after one hour going around in this little crazy town with crazy italian parking habits we found a place (we thought 20 € per day for parking offering by the hotel was too much).

We booked a triple room but we got a double room with an extra bed, which was a little bit short.

Situated in the centre of town and really only 2-3 minutes from the main shopping area and the Grand Canal; very close (walking in 7 minutes) from bus and train station.Nice clean room with enough space for more than the three of us. Bathroom good and clean. Staff very helpful with details of local situations.Breakfast (continental type) ample and fresh; again very friendly staff. Good coffee.

great for short term stay; for longer staying guests I would recommend a few more chairs in the room; there was space enough but furniture was a bit stark.

The band width connection was very low so internet connection was slow and spotty. The hotel was located in front of the bus stop which was both a blessing and a curse. At 5:30 am the buses would come and are very noisy.

I went to this hotel because I had a very good experience with nh hotel close to bergamo airport, but this one is totally different, the heating was not working,and they dont have more cover neither pillows. Only one towel for two persons,to get hot water in the shower you had to wait minutes,by chance we find a parking place close to the hotel, but they dont have parking.

Nonce that the hotel doesn't have an own beach place and it can be called 5 star hotel. It is terrible to find a parking place around the hotel.The inner look of the hotel is terrible, without carpets on the floor, and chep cover paperwall on the doors.

The hotel wasn't as bad as the references said. We were lucky because we got one of the best rooms with the view to the sea and a balcony. The room was bug and nice, the equipment a little old though. Breakfast was way to simple for a 5* hotel, but still okay. We came by car so it was easy to get to the city. It took us maybe 5 minutes to drive to the downtown. Personnel didn't really speak English but still they were friendly with us.

The location was walking distance to the castle and you could take a bus downtown to avoid the driving hassle. Parking was free and view of the sea from our balcony/room was awesome.

Vicinity to all points of interest excellent. All stafff at reception extremely helpful, and patient with my Italian language (Mrs. Joanna Guthrie!). Heating of appartment - super.

The Residence is calm, the staff are very kind and cooperative, the garage is very practical.

The bathroom shower drain was blocked when we registered at 6.00pm. It didn't drain properly and much much worse than that it allowed waster water to enter from other guest rooms. We asked to be shifted to another room. The hotel wouldn't/couldn't shift us and so next morning we went to the Trieste Tourism office. We didn't leave the first night because the Tourism Office closed at 6.00pm. The Tourism office recommended another more expensive Hotel to us and we checked out of the Hotel Centrale after only one night out of 3 of our booking and moved into the new Hotel that morning. We lodged a written complaint about the unsanitory/unhealthy condition of the Hotel Centrale through the Tourism Office, & seek compensation for the extra expense

The absolutely fantastic attitude of staff, the stunning location, the brilliant room, the massive breakfast, the fluffy white towels, the super powerful shower and the excellent value for money. Well done every body.

The hotel staff was very friendly. The room was basic but clean. The hotel is also close to the city center, in a quiet street, and Trieste is definitely a very interesting place.

The room was rather small for four persons. The entrance and exit to the recommended parking garage were very narrow and I thus manage to damage my rental car.

The staff is exceptional and gave us many suggestions for sight seeing, as well as directions to those locations. They also followed up after our excursions to ensure we had a great time, which was greatly appreciated by us. Breakfast was really good, our room was clean, and the location is central: perfect for exploring Trieste and its lovely surroundings!

This is my third stay at this hotel-it is wonderful. There is not one negative thin I can say about this hotel.
