The hotel itself is very nice and clean. The front desk staff was not very helpful. At one point we went to the counter and the lady was sitting under a blanket in the corner. She hardly moved when we walked up. Our biggest complaint was that there is a very large church across the street that rings its bells on the hour and it is VERY loud. Sunday morning at 8:30am it played hymns for almost 30 min straight. It was impossible to sleep through.
Pros:The ad for the hotel on Kayak
Cons:After driving eight hours, upon arrival I was told there was no hot water due to a burst pipe. This was a flat out lie. There was NO water at all. I literally had to bathe in the SINK before heading out to a very nice family dinner. The staff was helpless, they offered no discount nor did they offer any concessions (ie late check out, etc) to accommodate guests for this major inconvenience And they genuinely didn’t seem to care. Additionally, the advertisements for the room size are very misleading. These rooms are tiny!. Ive stayed in bigger rooms in the UK which is notorious for small hotel rooms. To add insult to injury, no follow up from management, no personal touch at all. I will never stay here again.
