Tv needed upgraded as with the channels, no fridge.
The casino was our main reason for being there. It was great. The whole staff was polite, courtious, but lacked a little on the follow though. I would absolutely back, generally it was a good time but I would make sure I was not paying full room rates. If I had to do that I would go else where. out dated room, ice machine, on the floor didn't work, it took almost a day to get a do not disturb sign to the room,the toilet paper holder was broken and just stuck back on the wall, the buffets were mediocre & bland which is to be expected to some degree with a buffet and it did have a few high lights, but made me feel sick to me stomach at the end of the nIght. The only other problem I had was the TV. I understand you don't go to a casino to watch TV. The resort wouldn't gamble if you wanted to stay in your room, but they might as well had a tube tv in the room.
Access to the other Casinos The room was disgusting! Bathroom was very nasty and had to call housekeeping to come clean the bathroom again.
Rooms are clean, bed and pillows were very comfortable, and there were no problems. The TV in the hotel room was a bit old, so the picture was a low resolution. The casino floor was extremely smokey, and the machines were positioned very close together.

We didn't have to drive and valet was prompt!! the pillows were very uncomfortable, the room was hot and air was not sufficient enough to cool the room. The coke machines were out of stock and even took my money.

The charge of the Resort fee. This was our third year staying at the Gold Strike and the first year that we were charged a resort fee nted. We inquired about an upgrade in our room because we had received coupons for a 2 night complimentary stay but, we had not received them until after we had already booked our stay. The hotel customer rep would not consider our longevity with the hotel nor accommodate us with an upgrade due to our receiving our complimentary coupons after we had already booked. She kept insisting that they were under new management and the new manager was strict and stern in policy. It was some what offensive and not a good look at all. Sadly disappointed!
I understand that a casino type hotel is more for the adults but when it is the nicest hotel and the most affordable hotel in the area, it is a no-brainer that I picked this hotel. But there is no swimming facilities for the childre anymore so don't let the indoor pool entice you. You would think a hotel that large would have an indoor pool for kids. Anyways, the hotel staff was great and the Buffett was amazing.
rooms food is way over priced, not good tasting at all. no good value. better to go fast food place down the road, or a huddle house. food would be better.
Rooms were clean hotel was clean My only complaint was the water pressure in the shower was horrible.
Accessible to local events and activities, as limited as they are in Tunica. Rooms needed better attention for clean sheets in the soda bed. Desk staff needs access to laundry for those coming in late and housekeeping has left for the day.
Good breakfast, comfortable bed, friendly staff! Also, we loved the fridge, microwave, and water fountain in the lobby (it's rare to have one in a hotel. .. made refilling our water bottles easy! )
Nothing Our flight/flights were cancelled due to weather at dfw, could not get there as planned, I had to cancel my res. I was still charged, this is unfair, I have no control over the weather or the airline, I will not/never ever again use this site or any other, priceline, orbitz etc.site for booking anything, the correct thing to do is fully refund me or let me comeback at a later time, I will let everyone know how this site works, andrew johnson,682 367 8707, perhaps a follow up would be nice, but then again that would be customer service
Easy access, friendly service, quick check-in and convenient to Gold Strike.
The rooms were clean and the bed was somewhat comfortable. The staff (Connie) stopped me from taking the free breakfast to my room which I have done for years and am usually offered assistance or a tray from other hotels including other Best Westerns. Connie at the front desk was very unfriendly to myself and my family and would not even consider our complaints.
Facility is clean and upgraded. Friends with us could hear shower running and people in hall way. To get to Casinos it's drive you own or PAY to get there, but it's only a few miles to any of them.
Sam's Town was perfect. Great accommodations for the price. The casino business is taking a nose dive. Harrah's is closed and Sam's Town has shut down 50% of it casino. All casinos visited were void of visitors. Had we know this in advance we would have gone elsewhere.

It was located close yo our destination Bed bug poops.....the ant infested cup behind the curtain, the coverlet stank and the blanket was sticky. This was one of our rooms. The other one wasn't so bad. One room smelled like someone had smoked right before we got there and the other one didn't.
The girl who Check us in was very sweet considering she had such a complaining guest. Close to casinos. The TV reception was absolutely terrible. The worst. Not enough channels. The bed was positively awful. The breakfast leaves a lot to be desired.
