10.0 Excellent
Pros: Easy access, friendly service, quick check-in and convenient to Gold Strike.
8.6 Excellent
Pros: Good breakfast, comfortable bed, friendly staff! Also, we loved the fridge, microwave, and water fountain in the lobby (it's rare to have one in a hotel. .. made refilling our water bottles easy! )
6.8 Good
Pros: Facility is clean and upgraded.
Cons: Friends with us could hear shower running and people in hall way. To get to Casinos it's drive you own or PAY to get there, but it's only a few miles to any of them.
4.5 Okay
Pros: The rooms were clean and the bed was somewhat comfortable.
Cons: The staff (Connie) stopped me from taking the free breakfast to my room which I have done for years and am usually offered assistance or a tray from other hotels including other Best Westerns. Connie at the front desk was very unfriendly to myself and my family and would not even consider our complaints.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Our flight/flights were cancelled due to weather at dfw, could not get there as planned, I had to cancel my res. I was still charged, this is unfair, I have no control over the weather or the airline, I will not/never ever again use this site or any other, priceline, orbitz etc.site for booking anything, the correct thing to do is fully refund me or let me comeback at a later time, I will let everyone know how this site works, andrew johnson,682 367 8707, perhaps a follow up would be nice, but then again that would be customer service
5.7 Okay
Pros: Accessible to local events and activities, as limited as they are in Tunica.
Cons: Rooms needed better attention for clean sheets in the soda bed. Desk staff needs access to laundry for those coming in late and housekeeping has left for the day.

6.0 Good
Pros: The casino was our main reason for being there. It was great. The whole staff was polite, courtious, but lacked a little on the follow though. I would absolutely back, generally it was a good time but I would make sure I was not paying full room rates. If I had to do that I would go else where.
Cons: out dated room, ice machine, on the floor didn't work, it took almost a day to get a do not disturb sign to the room, the toilet paper holder was broken and just stuck back on the wall, the buffets were mediocre & bland which is to be expected to some degree with a buffet and it did have a few high lights, but made me feel sick to me stomach at the end of the nIght. The only other problem I had was the TV. I understand you don't go to a casino to watch TV. The resort wouldn't gamble if you wanted to stay in your room, but they might as well had a tube tv in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice room and Comfortable beds
7.7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was suppose to come with it, nobody told us where so we ate buffet
Cons: Better rates would be so nice
10.0 Excellent
Pros: rooms
Cons: food is way over priced, not good tasting at all. no good value. better to go fast food place down the road, or a huddle house. food would be better.
6.5 Good
Cons: The charge of the Resort fee. This was our third year staying at the Gold Strike and the first year that we were charged a resort fee nted. We inquired about an upgrade in our room because we had received coupons for a 2 night complimentary stay but, we had not received them until after we had already booked our stay. The hotel customer rep would not consider our longevity with the hotel nor accommodate us with an upgrade due to our receiving our complimentary coupons after we had already booked. She kept insisting that they were under new management and the new manager was strict and stern in policy. It was some what offensive and not a good look at all. Sadly disappointed!
6.0 Good
Pros: We didn't have to drive and valet was prompt!!
Cons: the pillows were very uncomfortable, the room was hot and air was not sufficient enough to cool the room. The coke machines were out of stock and even took my money.
6.2 Good
Pros: Access to the other Casinos
Cons: The room was disgusting! Bathroom was very nasty and had to call housekeeping to come clean the bathroom again.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were clean hotel was clean
Cons: My only complaint was the water pressure in the shower was horrible.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, clean rooms and over appearance, very welcoming
Cons: Some of dealers were rude
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are clean, bed and pillows were very comfortable, and there were no problems.
Cons: The TV in the hotel room was a bit old, so the picture was a low resolution. The casino floor was extremely smokey, and the machines were positioned very close together.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: I understand that a casino type hotel is more for the adults but when it is the nicest hotel and the most affordable hotel in the area, it is a no-brainer that I picked this hotel. But there is no swimming facilities for the childre anymore so don't let the indoor pool entice you. You would think a hotel that large would have an indoor pool for kids. Anyways, the hotel staff was great and the Buffett was amazing.
7.4 Good
Cons: Tv needed upgraded as with the channels, no fridge.

Cons: The casino floor was hot the hallways were hot . and I understand that I was on the smoking floor but it reeked of marijuana.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The bed was really comfortable and the room fairly clean.
Cons: The chairs in the room were rather filthy. I was disappointed that there was not a good place to have breakfast in the morning.
8.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice facility
Cons: Don't like that they still overcharge for wifi....$12.95...!!!!
7.3 Good
Cons: I booked this room on kayak. When I checked out the clerk at the front billed my credit card again. So I was double billed !! Still haven't got that straight yet. I don't mind losing $ in the casino -- but don't just take it from me And expect me to work it out later !!! Buffet sux too !!
Hollywood Casino Tunica - Robinsonville - Building
4
8.0 Excellent (3,199 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Hollywood Casino Tunica features comfortable rooms with easy access to the spa, casino, golf course, and indoor pool. Located 25 miles outside of Memphis International Airport, the hotel features a spa, golf course, and the largest indoor pool in Tunica. Decorated with all the old-time memorabilia and posters from classic films, the hotel blends of contemporary furnishings with Hollywood glamor. The casino consists of table games, slots, sportsbooks, and high limit gambling. Guests are encouraged to take a dip in the pool, practice their swing, relax with a massage, or take in a show at the Stage Bar, which features free live music from the area's most talented musicians. Guests who wish to do some shopping without leaving the premise may do so at Landau and The Hollywood Gift Shop. Rooms are bright and modern. Marble and granite bathroom countertops give it a contemporary feel, while the cherry wood furnishings give it a classic aesthetic. Room amenties include in-room safe, 27” TV’s, pay-per-view view movies, coffee makers, refrigerator, hairdryer, iron and ironing boards, and free daily newspapers. On-site, the hotel offers three options. Fairbanks Steak House specials in American fare and steaks, Epic Buffet, treats guests to a buffet of epic proportions, while Celebrity Grill serves up casual American cuisine. Off-site guests can dine atThe Barn Prime, Delta Blues Cafe, and Eats. For lodgers who enjoy excellent dining, casino fun, and modern amenities, Hollywood Casino Tunica is an ideal option.
6.2 Good
Pros: The room was nicely appointed and comfortable. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. My wife and I enjoyed looking at the "movie set decor and props." There are a wide variety of slot machines and a few table games from which to choose. The hotel and casino staff were courteous and helpful.
Cons: If we had won a jackpot or two we would have tried the in-house steak house. However, without a jackpot, the prices were too high for our budget. Except for the Saturday evening crab legs, the food on the buffet was mostly marginally edible and significantly overpriced as well. The little grill/deli possibly had better food but a sandwich, fries, and a drink cost more than the daily buffet! Around Thanksgiving, there is nothing to do in the area but gamble and play golf. TV channel selection was horrible but guess what? You can pay extra for movies in your room!
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The casino itself is fun with the Hollywood theme and the location is fine. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. I wish we had been able to partake in the dinner buffet as well, but the timing didn't work out with out other plans. They offer $2.00 beer on tap at the bar which was a plus for our group.
Cons: The air conditioning didn't appear to be working at maximum capacity and the room was a little stuffy as a result. Not bad enough to request a move to a different room, but just uncomfortable enough to make sleeping a little difficult.
6.0 Good
Pros: The room was nice and clean
Cons: The food was not very good.
4.2 Okay
Cons: We was in a non smoking room, we woke us and it smelled like someone was smoking in the room. Cigarette smoke was blowing out of the air vents. Had to turn the air of, I told the lady at the front dest and only thing she said was "sorry bout that"....had to chase someone down to get a drink, very rude Staff. Have to beg for someone to talk to you. We drove to gold stike 10 mins away order drinks from slots and cleaner nicer staff,100x's nicer! Go there!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Buffet value using time in the casino, $5 senior dinner Buffet and 55 cent Breakfast Buffet
Cons: Pool hours, should be open all night for us night owls.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice clean room, comfortable beds, very friendly and professional staff
Cons: Buffet was very limited
5.7 Okay
Pros: Secure elevators, room key needed to access.
Cons: Casino is small, dealers are not friendly, wait staff unfriendly as well.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The price. I paid $37.40 WITH tax for a king room. Nice big comfortable bed. The shower had good pressure and soft water. The casino was so-so and the breakfast buffet was disgusting.
Cons: Breakfast buffet.....barf. so not worth the $10/pp
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Interior rooms which overlooked casino floor and movie like atmosphere. Secure elevators which required a card to access all floors was nice surprise.
Cons: There was nothing else to do if you were not gambling or playing the slots.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Room was very nice - roomy, clean - excellent for the money
Cons: Casino was not really clean - slots were sticky from drink spills
7.7 Good

Cons: The staff was rude. The room was filthy. There were cobwebs around the ceiling. There was a pubic hair in the shower. One blanket was riddled with cigarette burns (in our NON-smoking room). The other blanket had what appeared to be food as well as dried mucous on it. There was a hole in the ceiling with a distinct water leak around it. The solution seemed to be a napkin stuffed into the hole. One of the beds had metal pieces of the frame sticking out in 3 different places. The furniture was dated and stained. Do NOT let the well kempt outside fool you. This place is awful. I have pictures!

Cons: Heat was aweful, it was either very hot or way to cold!! Housekeeping also had an aguement right outside our door, yelling at one another. Room was very out dated.
