Located in Uchaux, Fontclaire en Provence is in a rural location, within a 5-minute drive of Le Parc Alexis Gruss and Jean-Henri Fabre Museum. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Beautiful location, very friendly and warm hosts, one of the most beautiful swimming pools, sweet cat, extraordinary interiors
Pros: Location, the superbly renovated building, the small outdoor pool and the owners' hospitality
Cons: It was very hot when we were there, making it difficult to sleep. There is no air-conditioning and the provision of fans would be a positive improvement.
Pros: A tastefully and artistically decorated place in the middle of lavender fields and vineyards - what more could one wish for when traveling around the Provence?! The owners are the most lovely people and they were absolutely dedicated to make our stay as comfortable and convenient as possible. We will definitely return for an extended vacation.
Pros: The property was beautiful! The host was very welcoming and it felt like coming home after exploring all day. The photos are a good match to the reality. Everything was sparkling clean!!Perfect place if you are considering a wedding.
Cons: Not all rooms are en-suite if that matters to you
Pros: The location of the property is excellent - if slightly off the beaten track. The owner’s son was extremely helpful.
Cons: The fact that there wasn’t a kitchen or refreshment facilities where we could buy a cold drink after a long, hot drive.
Pros: Beautiful breakfast with plenty to eat, great location.
Cons: Everything was perfect
Pros: Wonderful location, big garden surrounding the house, lovely room. We didn't have breakfast, so we cannot say anything about it, but it looked nice, especially because it was served outside, on a big table, for everyone. French, though, so no fresh fruits and yoghurt, which is what we personally prefer.
Cons: Breakfast was not included in the room rate, unfortunately. It's EUR 10 p/p.
Pros: Sense of authenticity by the owners to keep the property in an original yet functional state. Very friendly and accommodating couple. The B&B is clean and well managed. Orange is a good 10 minutes drive. Breakfast at the property is more than enough, but you have to be a fan of French breakfast ;-). If you like me, are Gluten sensitive and want the full breakfast experience you can to drive to Orange, Hotel Le Glacier has a buffet for 11,5 euro.
Cons: Keep some cash on hand to pay your breakfast.
Pros: Nice place in the countryside - not too far from the city of Orange. Very good value for the money.
