The view of Lake Van. Breakfast by the pool. Quiet location.

Coffee at breakfast was self service from a huge catering size tin of awful powder, and a carton of milk, not even poured into a jug. Not an International Hotel - no English spoken.

Wonderful setting on lakeshore, nice outdoor area with cushions, varied breakfast, spacy comfortable rooms and lobby. The pool is clean and not crowded as most guests seemed to be stopping overnight. No noise at all, very relaxing.

The hotel stands right on the highway so rooms facing it are noisy. Our rooms were not air conditioned which was almost ok because the nights are chilly; however only one window in each room has a mosquito net so you don't really get enough air. With the fall of dusk, the air fills with little insects, they don't seem to bite but are a nuisance. All the tables in the outdoor cafe are littered with them. The lake smells of sulfur which is not the hotel's fault of course but be warned. Tea cost 2 lira per little cup.
