The room was a good size and very comfortable. The bathroom was well-lit and easy for 2 people to get ready, and the shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. We had everything we needed and would be happy to stay again.
The hotel staff was absolutely friendly and efficient. The room was spacious and very clean, with a Nespresso machine.
For such a nice property, I found the noise pollution from the hallway to be very problematic. The door was not well-insulated - I could hear every word spoken in the hallway, not to mention noise from other rooms down the hall. For what I paid, this is an unforgivable oversight. Also, the housekeeping calls at 8:30 each morning were a little ridiculous.
The proximity to BC Place and Rogers stadiums was excellent. The street that the hotel is on is not overly congested and you are really walking distance to much of Vancouver's downtown and several districts.
The restaurants and bars immediately nearby, close at 10pm. So as soon as a show or game is over at BC place or Rogers theater, you better head for bed.

We were directly across the street from our events and we were treated like royalty from the excellent staff!

Could hear everything inside the rooms. Staff kept asked four times about check out which is ridiculous service. The in room dining service was poor. Nobody answers phone call.
Loved the included bikes and steamroom
It appeared that we arrived during a meal break or such as there was only one reservationist at the front desk who became overwhelmed trying to check in three groups while answering the phone, etc.
Crazy fire alarm
Everything else was great.
The fire alarm went off and we were all evacuated. The firemen came and it was a false alarm. We went back to the rooms and it went off again. We were asked to evacuate a second time but the cleaning crew told us not to pay attention and sure enough 1 minute later it stopped. The firemen came a second time and the assessment was that the equipment is outdated and needs to be updated. Kind of a crazy morning.

In front of the stadium and right around the corner from many many restaurants, stores and sights.
Location, location, location. Close to opera house, Gastown, and great restaurants. Loved the fact that carpets have been replaced by hard flooring. Very quiet and clean.
A little on the expensive side for an older hotel with few amenities, but the location is worth it and the beds are comfortable.

The wireless internet connection was AWFUL despite coming included w the room. Couldn't get online and it was really difficult to connect.
