nothing i liked no service-nofood selection -direty carpets -no taxis infront of hotel
Housekeeping! Needs a lot of work! & room service food.
Good breakfast, bright atrium style reception hall
The service was very good, for foreighn travelers, and nice restaurant enclosed, If you are looking for any fun this is not the place. 95% business travelers. Too Hot in the rooms as i could not turn the heat off, No nighlife at all around, very conservative atmosphere No music, No Fun.No dancing.
It was very easy to check in and the rooms are a good size. Whilst sat in the bar saw a mouse running up the side of the tv.
The location of the hotel was key for us working at the expo.
The door lock failed to work on our 2nd night, I had to come to reception 4 times before someone came to look. I was given a free drink for my trouble.
The hotel has a very good position/location for the visiting Expo area. I like the hotel, it was new and really nice. The working staff during the night hours was a bit louder, in my opinion. I would like to have a room with view into the street next time.
location to the Expo . good facilities , friendly staff who were willing t converse in English no
bar open late! went to breakfast to have a cup of coffee only........was charged 15 euros, which reception kindly cancelled
Had a pleasant stay, room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was good, and hotel location very close to Paris Expo (walking distance). The area of the hotel is a residential one, so there is not much happening, almost nobody is walking on the streets after 7 ot 8 pm. Also it is hard to find a place to eat nearby.
No kettle so had to boil water in a saucepan. Also, no hairdryer but this was not the end of the world - I've short hair
Clear and conformation. Friendly helpful staff. Free internet access and the well equited kitchen. 15 mins walk from metro but difficult to find for the first time. More signage at the main road will be helpful. Plus no direct public transportation to the CDG airport.
hotel was very nice, clean and cozy, definitely coming back
well maybe the price the location is too far away from downtown. Stuff not so efficient to deal with customer's emails.
There was not enough hot water for 3 persons to take shower.
Overall, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and provide high quality. the lack of high quality breakfast service
It is very spacious and clean No complaints
Very peaceful atmosphere. The walk to the nearest metro was a little long
Very quiet location, Ease of getting in and out after 10 pm. Friendly staff, and the fabulous facilities in the room It was only one iron and hair dryer in the hotel and the volume of the TV could not be increased after a point.
Proximity to the airport. Shuttle bus Strong smell of tobacco in my non smoking room. Very overpriced room!!!
quick check-in, big rooms, fast elevators, poor breakfest, too expensive internet
Location The bedrooms are old (poorly furnished) an the bathroom is not of a 4star hotel.
Location is convenient if you need to stay close to the airport. That was within walking distance from terminal, what really was helpful due to taxi drivers strike that shut all transportation fro and to terminal. Not worth the value. The room was overheated and no way to cool it down. I couldn't sleep well waking up sweating. Staff admitted the problem but didn't even try to solve it. I general I can't really say that staff is unfriendly, but they are kind of distant? Don't really interested to help, it looks like they just don't care. Another example that they don't care about customer convenience is that You can't leave a luggage for safety between the checkout and time you need to leave for your flight.
A pair of bathroom slipper
It was clean and the staff were helpful. The menu was limited and the charges for the food, both in room and out, were outrageous.
The staff, Paying for Internet
The Concierge was extremely helpful, otherwise not up to the normal Hilton standard Cockroaches in the restaurant at breakfast, nasty stains on the couches in the reception area! The faux wooden flooring in the bedrooms is very noisy. No refrigerator in the room.
Proximity to the airport and shutle bus No minibar in the room
Convenient location Orly Airport Helpful staff Broken heating - too hot Room generally shabby
The room was very nice and large. The breakfast buffet was very good and the proximity to Orly was a real assett as it allowed us to have a relaxing time before a long flight
Good romm. Good brekfeast.
The dinner buffet and the breakfast selection are quite excellent! I did think it was quite clean and I loved my room. I wish all the hotels I stayed at were as well-maintained as here. I spent so little time here I didn't notice anything that went negatively.
proximity to airport.courteseous staff.
Very clean, friendly staff, all staff spoke very good english.
Check in and check out was fast, the shuttle bus was on time. Don't have much to say since I stayed only for 5 hours. The shuttle bus was a bit ahead of time when we arrived in the airport and was waiting for a pick-up to the hotel, so we missed one and had to wait for another 20 minutes.
a big variety of breakfast , people are friendly, helps you out if you need help, fridge was closed with key ( you have to pay for minibar ) / Tv channels was very less.
Room, shuttle service was excellent, staff elevators frequently out of service
Breakfast was delicious Be pulled to secure the value of the room and not taken it back only after two weeks means twice the amount
We booked this hotel because of its proximity to the airport. The shuttle bus from the hotel runs frequently (every 20 minutes) and was quick. The hotel itself was amazing for the price - exceptionally clean and modern. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were very happy with our stay at the Holiday Inn Orly.
Shettle to the airport. Friendly staffs, hotel quiet, Room clean and large. The room was fairly cold when arriving, did not have time to check if the heating system was on or off, same thing with the bathroom.
near the airport with free shuttle service no porters and bell boys and front desk should tell guests that they must use room key for elevator use
The hotel is excellent but not good for the tourists who wants to go to paris centre because it cost you big money and time to move to paris centre.
Just stayed in the Best Western. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very spacious, nice and comfortable. The hotel has a shuttle which takes 7 minutes to the terminal from 5 am to 11:30 pm. The hotel is in need of some remodeling, but overall nice. The staff were friendly. I stayed before at a different hotel in the area that received a much higher rating but liked the Best Western much better. It is mostly for business. The hotel can use some remodeling, the corridors feel dark with poor lighting.
Location of the hotel was good with easy access to the Metro. The hotel was dirty, smelly and overpriced.
Location & price were both reasonable for my buisness trip. Staff were very pleasant Bathroom looked very tired - in need of redecorating.
We enjoyed a lot of great food in the room with the small kitchen set. Enough space in the family room for 3-4 people. Very limited hot water for shower. The next person have to wait for at least 30min after the previous one finshed shower.
quiet cold water at 7 am till 8:30 at least!
I like kitchen in the room. The pool didn't work. I was bitten by insects in bed-clothes. It is awful.
It was more than 10 minutes walk from the exhibition centre
Location was within short walking distance to the Metro. Staff very friendly! Room decor was very outdated, bedspreads were thin and tv was very small.
The rooms were basic but prices were very good compared to other hotels in the locality. The hotel was ideally located for the expo center in Paris and was one of the few with late availability for the week that I needed. The hotel was literally a place to sleep and so served its purpose, if I were expecting more from my hotel ie for a holiday I would pay more and upgrade They charged me in advance on the way in which I was prepared for but arriving at midnight forgot to ask for a receipt. They subsequently tried to charge me on the way out as well. The logsheet from that night was also the only one missing from the book. Get a receipt.
Friendly and helpful staff-closeby supermarket opens at 9am and couple of restaurants but close early It takes 30 to 40 mins to the eiffel tower with one change of metro,if you are travelling with heavy luggage -direction to the hotel should be more clear - come out of the metro turn right and on main road turn left -cross ibis hotel and you find it -its on the left side itself.
The hotel staff was friendly, good parking facilities.
Nothing. Staff was very rude and not polite at all. We came from Zurich and arrive to Paris in the evening. The front desk person was extremely disrespectful with us. We have been in Paris before and we love the city. Staff, room, service, location, unwelcoming greetings, basically we like nothing about this hotel and we will never return to this hotel again. However very near by this location there are great hotel choices. Choose wisely.
The room wasn't crazy big but fit the 3 of us quite nicely, it was very clean and tidy. No issues what so ever, very quiet. The staff were very friendly/helpful considering we couldn't speak any french. They made sure our stay was amazing.
restaurant portions were very small for the cost. i think the neuvo quisine approach should be abandoned and larger portions offered.
Clean, comfortable. We hear the sound of lift from our bed room all the time as it located next our room.
Windows were open 1cm and nailed there! the room was on a main road where the noise did not abate and we couldn't close the windows!
The staff very friendly and the free internet in the room.
Kind hotel Staff, very good, wifi, a nice large clean room, well designed working desk. The location of Hotel is perfect for my purpose(business). It is an expensive hotel but you've got what you paid for, and I think with the same price you get a lot smaller room in the center of Paris usually.I also like the fact that they have smoking room as smokers tend to be discriminated more and more (and at the same time no smell of cigarette at all in the another area The water tmperature of bath and shower is set on 38 degree which wasn't hot enough for me and it can be colder but not hotter. Also the room temprature wasn't warm enough for me to work at night although it may be a good temperture to sleep. I tend to feel cold so for the most of people it would be ok, but I'd prefer to be able to make it warmer(there is a controller but I couldn't make it warmer at night time)
It was good None
Nothing I found the staff to be extremely rude, the linen in the room smelt disgusting even after changing the linen it was still terrible, my pre-arrange tax service was always late causing us to almost miss our cruise dinner, my wake up call from the hotel was 30mins late, the food menu was terrible and the food was not great either & i would never reccommend this hotel to anyone.
Staff welcoming, hotel clean and tidy and restraunt meal was excellent
Perfect for short familly trip.
Brand-new and very well designed hotel. Very clean. Very helpful staff. Free access to movies and entertainment via the provided Suite Box. The windows were sound-proof for street noise but not really for the railway noises that were just below our room (western side). Prefer the eastern side if you stay there or take the highest possible floor (9 floors). The room itself was very well designed for a couple but a bit too small for 3 adults. In particular this cannot be considered as an apartment as the kitchen area was too small with no cutlery, plates or any cooking instrument. The internet access was buggy and slow (advertised as high speed internet access)
Rooms are clean and comfortable The staff wasn't helpfull. My car window is broken due to theft. I asked the receptionist for tape and plastic. They told me they don't have transparent plastic. That's ok. So I asked for some tape which I can take away. Because it's was sunday and all shops are closed. She still refuse to give me that plastic tape to take away even If I pay for it!!!!!
The room have near 20mt and with one double bed and one sofa. They don't have free internet, like is show in booking. The staff don't speak english only french.
yes, a short business stay no
Internet doesn' t work
The Key was delivered without the room number or any information. The bath room seems be inside of roullotte. Seems like a motel for speedy rooms. Car parking extremely expensive.
Most of the staff were very friendly and thoughtful. We liked the fact that the hotel was pet friendly.A perfect hotel for stop overs on a long journey. The room temperature was good, not hot and stuffy like some hotels can be. The pillows were a bit uncomfortable.
While I only stayed 1 night, I found all of the staff very friendly and helpful I would reccommend the hotel to other business travellers No
A very nice and comfortable hotel in the Paris Boulogne area. It was quiet and great for a good nights rest.
Incredibly friendly & efficient staff, helpful with directions and local knowledge No bad points
Hotel was convenient for a festival we attended. Room very comfortable and plenty of space for a Parisian hotel (albeit non-central). Area quiet, parking on streets nearby a real plus.
Friendly stuff, nice hotel in general. At the beggining we were given room 407 with mold and a smell of it. But friendly stuff changed it for us for a clean one.
good size balcony, free use of mini bar fridge, big coffee cups, seperate toilet/bathroom, cordless kettle
the hotel is modern and confortable; the staff very kind , helpful and efficient
The hotel is very convenient for the event we were attending at Longchamp. Staff at reception are very helpful and all have good English. Rooms are clean and airy.
Excellent check in staff and they were quick to resolve the issues concerning the 3rd bed in the room. Parking was affordable and easy, and the hotel is wonderfully near a metro station. Breakfast was a bit pricey but there are cafe Rooms are small for 3 beds but probably larger than most Paris hotels of this price. The extra bed initially provided was inadequate but quickly replaced.
very overpriced for a fairly basic hotel - especially compared to similar priced hotels nearby
great food small, old rooms twin beds renovation going on (paint fumes, dust, etc.)
Hotel is situated in a quiet residential area of Paris yet has a number of restaurants nearby and train and Metro services are a short walk away. A number of local bars and restaurants unfortunately close for the weekend.
A good, clean hotel with friendly staff at a good location
I did not like the fact that they charge the credit card immediately upon booking which was totally wrong in spite of their conditions. I did not like the fact that they do not allocate rooms as per your requirements but as you arrive so we ended up having a smoking room when I had required a non-smoking. For the price we paid we had more facilities in other hotels than the Mercure.
Good hotel for business. Metro not to far but long way from City centre and train station. Additional charge for Internet and extra for VPN capability, in this day and age Internet should be included at no extra charge.
Clean, Good location, Bathroom, Bar, Breakfast, Lobby area.
after reading 1 poor review I was apprehensive but need not have worried as I could not fault the staff or the hotel or the breakfasts. All were excellent. The friendly efficient staff in all departments.
It was close to the festival site which made the event even more enjoyable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Clean, comfortable, modern, close to Metro, restaurants and shops. Some staff need to be a little less rude and agro. Some extra english language channels on TV would. Wine glasses and a corkscrew in the room would be good - you are in France after all and a glass of wine or two is mandatory. Room service was a little flaky (breakfast included croissants and pastries on day one and dry, stale bread by day four for the same order).
Friendly and helpful staff Breakfast price was high for what was on offer
Loved the beautiful hotel. Staff was wonderful & room was perfect
Location. Was close to airport for next day early flight. Free shuttles Sheets were itchy. They only gave one individual sized water bottle per room even if you have two people. An extra bottle would be 3€. Our room was not prepared well. There were no soap in both hand soap or body wash dispenser. We were also only given two bath towels. There were no hand towels. All in all, I don't think this room was worth its price of 187€ per night.
New facilities, not too far from Paris, in superb conditions for guests Open only for 3 weeks, the service lacks professionalism yet and information contradictory many times. No one told us ahead of time that the room will not be cleaned for the 3 nights of stay...and staff did not know about restaurants around. Big groups of students, teenagers, took control over the breakfast area for the 2-3 hours in the morning and hardly anyone could eat breakfast at that time
Large appartments with well equipped kitchen. Quiet place 15 min from the metro station Port d'Orleans. Good place to stay for a family.
We will recommend your hotel, because we think you have to learn of the things that people you tell. It is a learning process. breakfastroom is too small and they did not fill quickly the bread, cheese etc. and didnot clean quickly enough. They cannot see if there is something wrong in the parking. We stock there between two doors and nobody saw of heart us and no one took the telephone when we were calling for help. They didnot response at pressing on the red button in the garage.
The place is nice and there was enough to eat for breakfast. €15 for the parking was not too much for Paris
The room was comfortable, large enough for family with 3 small children. There is Monoprix supermarket nearby, and halal restaurant just infront of the hotel, very practical. The kitchen was well equipped as well. Parking was a bit expensive (Euro 15 per day). But it was 60 Euro for one week. We stay for 5 days and end up paying 75 Euro. I was asking to have the parking for 1 week (so it'll be cheaper) but the receptionist coldly said it's impossible since i actually only stay for 5 days..:-(
value for money hotel with supermarket and bus stop nearby
the staff very friendly, the room very clean and comfortble a little far from the Metro
The receptionist (Sabine) was very helpful and accommodating. Distance from the Metro
Room, Price Charging me upfront, location
The hotel was new and facilities provided good Not really, Metro about 10 mins walk, but bus is outside.
My overal experience was outstanding. We were treated with such kindness and respect and everyone went our of their way to help us with our questions and needs. The room was clean, modern, and nicely decorated. I especially loved that the hotel accomodiated my request to have an adjoining room with my colleague. The location was perfect as well. We found transportation easy to reach with the bus across the street and the metro just a 5 minute or so walk. It was close to restaurants, banks, and convienient shopping. I would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends. It would have been nice to be closer to the center of Paris, but the metro and bus took us their quickly and for less than 2 Euro.
courtesy and helpfulness of staff Having to request wash clothes at least 6 out of 9 nights from housekeeping. Didn't like having to feel we were imposing on housekeeping to get towels that we feel should have been in the room when we arrived and after we were staying.
The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from the subway station and a 30 minutes ride by taxi to Orly Airport, you have many restaurants across the street plus a Mall to do your last minute shopping. The hotel has all the facilities and the staff is very helpfull, they upgraded our rooms to acommodate us.
The employees' service at the front desk The check-in time is too late and the check-out time is too early.
Was in for New Year's Eve, left the following day. Room was booked at the last minute. I usually travel in hostels, but I have also been at some amazing hotels. Staff gave a very pleasant, both for check-in and check out. Rooms were clean and in order, beds was very comfortable. The price, especially considering the time of year, was very reasonable. Cons: internet was expensive. The hotel is close to a RER B Station and a walk away from Port D'Orleans (where I had my business for this trip), but you are out of the City. The location would be a hassle for most people looking to sightsee Paris, I think.
