10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, exceptionally clean and tidy. Everyone helpful and patient with our minimal spanish Will definitely return
Cons: Nothing
7.9 Good
Pros: The food in the restaurant was very good and it is popular with locals too, so could be quite lively especially on pintxo night when they are included in the price of a beer. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, coped really well with my limited Spanish. The bathroom towels were very good quality and the shower gel smelled delicious, I wanted to pinch it all. It is close to the castle and easy to find some of the fountains from the Moorish period, and if you wish to visit the cave with wall paintings they will arrange for the opening with the curators The views from the bedrooms at the front of the hotel seem to go on forever.
Cons: The air-con isn't very good so they gave us two fans to supplement it because it was very hot but there weren't many electrical sockets and using both fans meant we were limited to use the TV or phone charger etc
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic evening meal and lovely attentive staff. Beautiful views. Lovely old hotel
Cons: Beds were very uncomfortable with poorly fitting sheets. The mattress protectors were made of a very stiff fabric and were not comfortable
7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel was admirably easy to locate with limitless parking just outside the door and there was a splendid view from the rooms over the countryside and distant mountains. The rooms themselves were fine with good bathrooms. We were unlucky in stopping on a Monday when the restaurant was closed but it looked promising. Unfortunately virtually every other restaurant in the town was also closed on a Monday. Breakfast was quite good but conspicuously lacking in local produce. Helpful reception.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very good Spanish breakfast. Bedroom had fantastic views over the mountains. Interesting small town with impressive castle. Quiet surroundings after midnight.
Cons: Basic dinner menu in the bar but food was nicely prepared.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly, lovely cosy room and an excellent restaurant!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing with views over the mountains and valleys and a short walk into the village of Vélez-Blanco. The hotel had a very authentic Spanish feel. The room size was fine for the price and very clean. The food in the restaurant and service for Dinner was excellent. Breakfast was fine, typical Spanish breakfast. The staff were great, really helpful.
Cons: The only negative was the beds in the room which had sprung mattresses which were rather lumpy and not very comfortable.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was great! The hosts were very hospitable, and the equipment of the house and the room was truly splendid from bathrobes to toiletries. We were traveling with a small child and they took it into account so well. We would've liked to spend there a few more days but it wasn't possible this time.
Cons: We were there just before the summer season began so the pool area was not in use - but that's understandable as the weather wasn't that warm and the season hasn't started yet
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very welcoming hosts. Great breakfast. Beautiful and clean rooms. Best B&B we have stayed at this holiday.
Cons: nada
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Belgian hospitality at its best, this small B&B situated amongst the almond groves snd surrounded by mountains is so peaceful, relaxing and comfortable. At night you can really see the stars and in the morning wake to the sound of the birds. The breakfast is worth the stay on its own!!! The rooms are comfy, clean and enjoy good views. Lots of good places to visit locally and plenty of nice walks. Finally the staff are just wonderful so pleasant, friendly and helpful Highly highly recommended
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the massive pool, and the tranquility of the countryside. Only a very short drive into town.
Cons: All good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice and friendly host. Outstanding tasty breakfast. Quiet place. Recommend to stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: good sized bathroom, proper duvets (not top sheet +blanket), good breakfast (we are undecided whether the egg dish or the pan cakes were better). As it is in the sticks, it's absolutely quiet.
Cons: I would have appreciated some tips on restaurants in the 2 nearest towns. Sharing a breakfast table with other guests becomes extra awkward when one couple are non-Spanish-speakers and one couple are spanish.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hosts great, everything clean and our dog made very welcome
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pet friendly concept and the people
Cons: Nothing really...
7.1 Good
Pros: It was a very pleasant location & the owner was very kind to us.
Cons: My husband is 85. There were no handrails anywhere. There was nothing about this in the advert. All the bedrooms were upstairs and he had great difficulty getting up and down to our room.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Casa Lamberdina is in a beautiful place. The views are incredible. Diny and Bert were so helpful and friendly. They were devoted to making our stay as enjoyable as possible. We were only there for 4 full days but it was one of our favourite holidays. The food was excellent and rooms great. We would love to go back. Thanks! (Cathy; Pete’s wife).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely perfect stay with the best possible hosts. Bert and Diny made the experience so personal, but without intruding on our privacy. They were always available to help with anything, from hikes to local outings. Superb breakfast, and the lunch and dinner that we had, prepared by chef Bert, were delicious at a good price. We intended to stay for 2 nights but ended up staying 6. As you can see from the photos, the place is spectacular. Definitely off the beaten track, with several kilometers of dirt roads leading to Casa Lamberdina.
Cons: nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We liked the out-of-the-way location and the dramatic scenery. Several of the local towns warranted a visit and we enjoyed them all in their different ways. Diny supplied us with a map and lots of information! Bert and Diny were the most welcoming and attentive of hosts. We had a lovely breakfast each morning (included in our room rate) but Bert and Diny were more than happy to prepare a 3-course meal for us on 4 out of 5 nights (for an extra charge) We were able to avail ourselves of a selection of drinks which we noted down and paid for at the end of our stay. The pool was available to help us combat the heat and loungers and towels were provided. A fabulous short break - we would not hesitate to return!
Cons: We love to stay in out-of-the-way places, and this was certainly in that category! However the final mile of approach waa very difficult on the car tyres. The signs were there to help us reach the house, as sat-nav was a bit hit-and-miss. The flies were a problem, but that is not the fault of the hosts.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners of Casa Lamberdina were very inviting in that they made us all at home, explained how their Casa operated and then provided a wonderful service. Two of our group were vegetarian and one enjoyed meat dishes and the evening meal cooked met all our tastes. The rooms were very modern and state of the art. A wonderful location although the last 3k is on an unmade road that can be difficult for scooter riders!
Cons: The road to the location
10.0 Excellent
