Pros: Great value for the money at this place! We had the entire floor to ourselves, including a lounge / eating area. Comfortable bed and good shower. The proprietress was very nice and spoke French slowly so we could understand. We loved waking up to the sunrise with a view of the horses grazing. This place is a gem!
Pros: The breakfast was exceptional: all homemade
Pros: Well situated very calm and convenient. Excellent breakfast
Pros: Excellent breakfast and very quiet location
Pros: Really nice and quiet, nicely decorated space (includes a comfy sitting room), excellent mattress, very thoughtful hostess, and a delicious breakfast. Very good value for the price. I would definitely stay there again.
Pros: Entire second floor of old farmhouse, small bedroom, modern bath, large spare living room, good internet, excellent breakfast, about 1 km out of town, good quiet location, host wonderful.
Pros: Great place. Blondine was very helpful.
Pros: Blandine was very friendly, helpful and provided delicious homemade food for breakfast.
Cons: The house needs some attention, but it didn't affect it's attractiveness, cleanliness or comfort. It certainly wouldn't put us off visiting again.
Pros: Arrived here expecting the Farm place would have an activity to show the real Farmer life, like to see what they have in the farm and animals, as we arrived in a very hot days of France, drove all the way there from south of France, from ST tropez, got there advised to go have dinner in town which was isolated area full only with farm housings, two choices is one italian and one of the bistros, so had a chance to try the italian one was good one as it's local people who cook and do great job with their food, so we got back was dark night already, no air conditioning in the room, and there is mosquitos once you open the windows as it's located in a farm, so we just wandered around to find a fun otherwise; no one told us, we ve been told just to open the window, just as an advise maybe better to have a little improvements to make it perfect way to stay for next travellers, as an experienced traveller and a tour leader, for places i like them to be improved i like to give suggestions for them, otherwise; i would put a complaint and leave, keep good and make it works perfect, as your farm needs to have some activity and show people something of your activity and if you have a place for dinner, to let your guests experience something from your kitchen would be amazing. Thank you again for your accommodating.
Cons: Was hot, and there is mosquitos, not good for summer.
Pros: Excellent value for money. The breakfasts were very good with something different everyday. The hostess is a very good cook and produced some delicious cakes etc for breakfast. We had the whole floor to ourselves so were able to make use of the sitting room in the evenings.
Cons: Lack of a wardrobe so had nowhere to hang my clothes. We were lucky that we were the only people there otherwise I think that we may have had to share a bathroom which is a disadvantage.

Pros: The outside looked not very appealing but as soon we were inside it met our expectations. The room was clean and modern, a litte bit noisy because you can hear the neighbours but its a small bed and breakfast and really ok for one or two nights. Plus the hotel owner was really friendly and helpfull although she only spoke French
Cons: Breakfast was not very elaborate, just some croissants, jam and yoghurt but its French breakfast! the village is nothing special. We were on our way back home and visisted the beautiful village of Flavigny nearby. There are two or three restauarants in the surroundings
Pros: Friendly Hosts, delicious breakfast. excellent beds. full recommendation for a stay
Pros: Great to take a great- we were able to wash and dry some clothes and enjoy our day off our bike tour
Cons: Nothing- maybe another pillow?
Pros: The building did not look very inspiring from the outside. But inside the building and the rooms were beautiful
Pros: I liked everything! It felt like home. Very nicely decorated, spacious and clean rooms, and a great French breakfast. Great location - depending on your expectations and purpose of visit of course - it suited mine perfectly. I am already planning another visit.
Pros: The room was lovely with excellent lighting and space. Shower great. Owners very friendly and good breakfast. Easy to park. Don't be put off by the appearance from the street - it is super inside.
Pros: Hostess, facilities, decor and bed excellent. Nothing to complain about. I would go out of my way to stay here again.
Pros: Sophie and Stefan were great, very friendly and so kind.
Pros: Very nice staff - great room
Cons: The noise from the trains and the oversized pillows
Pros: Very clean with great location. Friendly family. Excellent stay.
Maison Galimard is located in Flavigny-sur-Ozerain and offers free WiFi access. The double rooms are fitted with a TV and a wardrobe. There is a shared bathroom with a bathtub, shower and toilet. A shared common area is available for guests' convenience. The area is popular for cycling and hiking. Morvan Regional Natural Park is 52 km away from Maison Galimard and Dijon is 58 minutes' drive from the property.
Pros: The landlady did her very best for us. The house was beautiful and the area was very quiet. I would diffidently recommend it to others.
Cons: The only complaint I would make is that I would have a problem with sharing a bathroom as there were four of us and we were family it did not matter. With strangers then I would have a problem. I was good other than that
Pros: The Maison Galimard is a typical stone house a short walk from the remarkable, ancient church, which latter can be visited by appointment through the small postal cum government office adjacent. Flavigny-sur-Ozerain is now a village and was a mediaeval city. The city is so intact that there would be very little to bar you making a period film there. A film called Chocolate was made there not so long ago. There is also a Carolingian crypt, from the 8th century, to visit and an ancient but thriving factory making aniseed dragées, where there is an associated tea shop and small museum.
Cons: The population is only 300, including 50 monks, and it seems they don't eat a great deal. At least they don't much eat out. We found only two restaurants in four days and one of them had a cigarette-burn-hole in the tablecloth. We discovered from the grapevine (not a literal one, of which there are also many) that the burn-hole was notorious. It was one of a number of eccentricities of our stay, eccentricities as they would seem to those who rub shoulders more widely in the world. A quiche in a cafe may taste like an ashtray and the soup may come from a glass bottle. They don't think anything is awry. It is the opposite of the Latin Quarter, in Paris, which you can get to in three hours to put matters back in perspective.
Pros: A beautiful room in an old refurbished house with a grand modern bathroom and a welcoming host.
Cons: The bathroom is to be shared with the other room but luckily we were the only one staying that night.
Pros: Very authentic & rustic beautiful homely property in great location near square with church
Cons: The accommodation was perfect BUT the village has nowhere to eat or drink in evenings EVERYTHING was closed so bring food & drink with you for evening
Pros: Did not know we had to share a bathroom, even though for us, it was not a problem. Would, for that reason only not recommend to individuals/couples traveling alone.
Cons: See above
Pros: Terrific location
Pros: The location is stunning & the owner, Sophie & her family absolutely wonderful. The bedroom was charming, comfortable & very clean.
Cons: The croissants were very unremarkable & rather dry.
Pros: Really peaceful. Excellent comfortable bed. Sophie’s hospitality was first class with great choice of delicious breakfast fare
Cons: The village needs a cash point. With an electric car the village would benefit from a charge point given the disctance from charge points.
Pros: This was the only B&B we stayed at during the trip. The Maison Glimard really stood out for the comfort. From the bedroom and bathroom (both well appointed and spacious) to the welcome and breakfast offered by the hostess. The other room was not rented during our stay, so we enjoyed the spacious bath by ourselves. Sophie, the hostess, also gave us good recommendations for sightseeing - about 30 min to 1 hour away.
Cons: The village is very small and quite out of the way for our travels. I missed the farmer's market -- closed on Mondays! Beware!
Pros: Lovely room in a private home in beautiful medieval village with no tourists. It was pouring rain and our hostess very kindly allowed us to check in early at short notice. We had an excellent meal at a local restaurant recommended by our hostess.
Cons: These are small villages with limited car access so very exact instructions on what to do with dropping off luggage and parking would be appreciated.
