It's a very nice hotel. Excellent restaurant. It can be a little hard to reach without a vehicle. You end up using public transportation or the hotel shuttle; neither are overly convenient.
Excellent service,attentive to our needs
Convenient location Breakfast
the kind of the hotel ,quiet & peaceful, the location between sorrento to vico equenze + the nearby to other places - ravello, capri, positano+amalfi the noise from the main road
Owners and FEmale Staff were truely fantastic. Having a b&b ourselves it was great to see how others ran their businesses and they were great at it. We will highly recommend them ... even to our own travel agent.
Hotel was lovely, modern, clean, great views, most of staff were excellent. The drive up and down fm the car park was interesting ! Wish we had ordered a smaller hire car !
location, terrace and garden, view, breakfast bar, secure free parking rooms not very soundproof, we could hear the conversations in the next room.
nice room, internet access free of charge, clean, nice staff far away to next restaurant -- no restaurant in hotel
The roms are very well taken care, clean and comfortable.some of the romms have very nice view to the sea.the staff is anxious to help and assist in any requirement. the bar in the room is not rich enough.
location - good scenery - safe car parking
The facility...bright and clean; the breakfast...very adeuate; the personnel...Donna was over the top helpful and competent; the setting...on the water and quiet the time we were there. Location can be diifficult to find but worth the effort.
This is a wonderful hotel! With a very nice staff. Very good breakfast. Quiet room with good beds. The area around. The hotel is placed by a little harbour and thats it. There is nothing else! Just a lot of camping!! And if you want to go swimming in the sea or lay in the sun you have two possibilities: go to the public ( very smal ) beach ( witch is so overcrowded ) or to pay ( pay a lot!! ) for a little less crowded beach. So its down by the sea, but its only for " see "! There is no restaurant in the hotel. In walking distance there are two pizzerias and two restaurants, the closest M.... should teach their staff good behavior, the other ( by the round tower ) was very nice. But if you want something else you have to use a car ( and that is a risky sport in this area! ).
Good simple breakfast, honest sized rooms, good location to move around the Napoli/Amalfi coast
Well appointed, clean and bright. Very helpful staff. The view from the balcony was lovely although the chairs were a bit hard! The only problem really was the location. The limited bus service, especially ending before 7pm, was a bit restricting. Arriving back from a day out after that time required a long trek down the hill from the train station. Yes, I would recommend the hotel but with the above caution.
Small charming hotel , ideal place to get away from the more crowded Sorrento . Most of the visitors are Italian. Mediterenian Design.
Great sea views. A very lovely hotel, everything was very clean. Decor is all white but with splashes of turquoise and so would show the slightest speck of dirt!! Staff were very professional, Dana the receptionist, the night receptionist and the owner were all very accommodating (even with our dogs!!) There looked to be a fabulous restaurant around the corner past the apartments, unfortunately we didn't get a chance to try it. Great location for sitting on your balcony and taking in the view. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves breaking was very very relaxing. The mattresses were incredibly hard/firm as were the pillowa, but I am sure that is what lots of people like, just personal preference. The hotel is at the bottom of a hill and the road doesn't lead anywhere, despite this there is a lot of traffic and noise, late into the night and early in the morning. The restaurant down the street Mustafa was quite pricey for just simple food.
I liked everything! The hotel is very new, very beautiful, with very nice owner! The room was with a wonderful sea view, very clean and beautiful. There is a free parking, free internet. Everything is perfect!!!!!!!
Everything is just perfect. Owners are wonderfull. It is the best place we stay during our 3 weeks trip in Italy. Perfect rooms, very clean!! No!
Clean and comfortable rooms. Good buffet breakfast.
Spectacular grounds overlooking the Bay of Napoli. Service was impeccable. Great location ... Only a few train stops away from Sorrento and 25 minute train ride to Pompeii.
Restaurant was great, staff was great Bathroom and room small, couldn't sit straight on toilet no room for legs. Really uncomfortable.
Excellent facilities, beautiful views - wonderful staff! Nothing
great pool , but freezing. nice quiet area .good place to relax the room is not 5* standard. Very hard pillows & bed.
Suite was big enough and had a jacuzzi Breakfast buffet: Not even good enough for a three star hotel, although they say the juices are fresh, none of them are, no selection of cheese only meat, hot chocolat milk on request seemed to be made with water and was undrinkable. Room: Main TV was in the sitting area, should have been in the bedroom instead, I missed showergel in the bathroom and the toilet didn't always flush as expected. Room service: poor, quality of the food was not what you'd expect from a gourmet hotel, one pasta was over cooked, the other pasta was under cooked. Almost an empty tray with no amneties like bread, salt, olive oil, so again very poor. No selection of wine on the RSmenu! Swimming pool not heated, ok middle east, unacceptable in Europe.
nice rooms swimming pool not heated
Room view for Naples Bay was amazing, so was the swimming pool, the garden and hotel's entrace. Staff was very friendly and I've had the best lemon yoghurt of my life. Restaurant's menu very expensive. The breakfast was delicious, but with few options. For a 5 stars should include hot dishes in the morning menu.
Immaculately designed and decorated hotel, stunningly beautiful location, great room and bathroom It is a shame that a potentially fantastic hotel is let down by the performance of the head waiter and his staff. Maybe they need more training (not quite Manuel from Fawlty Towers but, at times, not far off). A full-length mirror in the room would have been useful.
The restaurant service needs a lot of work.
Staff were very friendly and helpful and location was excellent to expore surrounding area in both directions. Breakfast
The hotel is beautifully renovated, highly technological, rooms gorgeous with all great facilities no
The front desk staff were fantastic at helping organise sightseeing activities. The restaurant was really very very good We ordered room service one night and it was terrible. It was only sandwiches & my kids couldnt eat them. They were stale and not toasted enough. It was our only negative for the stay but for the price they charge you expect fresh sandwiches
Perfect Service, very nice location The design of the rooms is not exactly *****
The hotel was beautiful with breathtaking views, the staff was friendly and very accommodating. We would definitely return and stay for a couple of weeks.
Location on the rocky coast for access to Pompeii. Smallness of hotel and personal attention from restaurant staff who were excellent. Wood and stone surroundings perfect with environment - great breakfasts! Room terraces great! One big discomfort - the beds were too hard and we could not sleep well - woke up with aches every morning. Hairdryer was not good enough to deal with two persons blowdry as it kept turning off. Pool temp (20c) too cold, jacuzzi not sufficient for all guests to cool down in the hot sun - would suggest pool kept at 25 -26c or at sea temp. On weekend only one pool attendant despite the club members presence - service therefore very slow and unattentive - we had to seek out personnel to get a drink! Also this made for residents area being too cramped. We never saw nor heard from management in the five days we were there which was not acceptable - other than the restaurant manager, no other interest in us a guests was initiated.
It was a super experience , execellent Service, i`love come back again Internet
A wonderful small hotel with an amazing location at the water side. You wake and fall asleep to the sound of the ocean... Everything in detail styled.
Staff were very attentive. The location and view was spectacular. The food was exsquisite not only flavour but presentation. Truly an affordable 5* resort! Very tranquil and suited to both younger and more mature travellers looking for a modern elegant getaway. The pool is fed by the sea, great if you enjoy swimming in the ocean but prefer calm waters (no waves).
The Driver with the glasses in the evenings (who's name eludes me) was very accomodating. Proper nice chap. Thnkyou. Oh yeah & the view
The wonderful location right on the sea and the hotel's design which resembled being on a ship - combined with friendly and efficient staff.
Splendid location - one of the few hotels along this coast that almost actually is situated in the water :-). Terraces are great, staff excellent (when we asked how far it was to the town they spontaneously offered a free shuttle service within 2 minutes!!). Great hotel!
This hotel - int this price cat - is the best one on the Amalfi Coast, we travelled around and spent some time to find out> did we choosed well or not? Yes, this was the best. -
the staff was really very kind and prompt the view was quite splendid easy access, well positioned the room size the balcony was missing
Very nice hotel -- staff spoke english, excellent breakfast and great coffee, right next door to the train station. Room had a kingsize bed and balcony facing the sea. Be aware -- this hotel is in Via Equense -- about 7 mountainous kilometers from Sorrento. Via Equense is worth a visit in its own right -- had the best spephetti carobonara of my entire 30 day trip to Italy in the town square -- but just know, it is not in Sorrento.
The view from the hotel, the breakfast
friendly atmosphere no
good proximity to train station and town centre.Friendly helpful staff breakfast good choice but didnt look very fresh,on reflexion should have gone to local town for breakfast
Very friendly owner who spoke god English and had lots of useful tips about restaurants, train tickets etc. standard rooms without sea view, very noisy in early morning as it is right by a the station car park and petrol station.
View of the Naples bay and the Vesuvius; Proximity to the train station
There was no parking and the rate did not include a room with a view of the sea which the ad indicated it would have. A room with a view cost extra.
Most staff did not speak English
Very helpful and friendly staff; organised our transfer from Naples airport (for a three-generation family group of six people) most efficiently. Ideally placed for visiting Pompeii and other local sites as the hotel is a three minute walk from the railway station. A good choice of food set out for the attractive buffet breakfast, and a good choice of local restaurants for other meals. Nothing.
Very helpful staff. Beautiful large pool with lovely view Rather an institutional 'business conference' feel.Very noisy road outside from 6am onwards
breakfast not standard for 4-stars-hotel (small choice), aircondition switched on after asking at receiption,
central location,good food
Very friendly staff. Very quiet area. Total relax. Great food at the beach restaurant. Avoid room 54. It is right above the reception and when they do not pick up the phone at 6.00 in the morning, it can be disturbing....
We stayed in the one bedroom delux apartment which is in a red house 200m beyond the hotel. We were blessed with wonderful weather and the apartment was idyllic, with views across the bay to Vesuvius and the sound of birdsong and waves lapping when we opened the window. The opportunity to eat breakfast on a small tower outside surrounded by the views of the bay and cliffs was memorable. The 9.05 boat to the Amalfi Coast stopping 200m away was a bonus. Some may find walking up the hill to the train station at Vico Equense or Seiano hard work, but we found it enjoyable exercise. You can catch a bus if it is a problem. On the whole, the week's holiday one of the best we have had. We nver got the hang of working out the heating in the evenings, though this was not sufficient a problem to mention to the staff.
The hotel had good facilities and the location was good for trips to the Amalfi coast as well as Pompeii and Naples. Also there is a water bus service within walking distance giving access to Sorrento, Capri etc without having to drive. No real gripes but when we arrived in the apartment there was no way to light the calor gas cooker and like a lot of places in Europe they don't use electric kettles!
Very hospital personnel. Very nice place, though a bit remote location. Territory of the hotel is absolutely fantastic in terms of nature as well as in terms of activities. Nothing major.
rooms furniture are old broken i do not think they have ever been polished in the last fifthy years
We loved the fact that we were right by the sea with all the facilities. They ran a shuttle bus service up to the train station (circumvesuviana) where we were easily able to access the sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum etc.. Very friendly family run hotel with mainly Italian clients.
All hotel staff were incredibly helpful and polite, and the shuttle bus service proved invaluable for getting around. Apartment was delightful, and the pool area and beach were clean and well looked after. I didn't feel that the restaurant had much variety of dishes.
Great room with large terrace, very good restaurant, very good front desk support especially with Anna and Carmella
Good location, close enough to centre that walking to all the main tourist sights was easy. Location close to the railway station should not put people off because the hotel faces an elegant open square, with Santa Novella church blocking it away from the railway station's less salubrious streets. Free internet access. Good breakfast. Roof terrace was an unusual feature - can see all the cathedral dome and half of the campanile - quite a romantic place at night. Nice restaurants in nearby streets - I can strongly recommend (and I rarely do so) Il Latini in Via dei Paichetti, five minutes' walk from the hotel, for meat lovers. Expensive for a dark room facing into an inner courtyard. Not good value for money compared to other hotels I have used, for example, in Rome. Overnight car parking is off-site at a garage - well organised, but again expensive. Roof top swimming pool is clean enough for a dip, but not long enough for a swim. Roof bar waiter never came over to take our order or serve us. Noisy ventilator in the bathroom - I complained, but not fixed. Black mould stains in the sealant between the bath and the wall tiles - I complained and this was resealed a day later. Nearby workmen started hammering away at 8 a.m. on the first day - sounded like they were in the hotel block - I complained and there was no problem the next day.
Very nice littel B&B, located in the mountains, with a nice view on the gulf of Napoli, the Visuv etc. Stay was perfect, friendly stuff and very clean room.
kind staff, comfort, fresh air, superb view from the terrasse, quite place, good for rest; good braekfast with home made jam and cake and excellent coffee
Excellent accommodation, over the area standards.
location, large room, quiet, balcony, view breakfast,
Very good and new Bed & Breakfast Very Sport cars can have some problems to reach the location, better call before and ask for different parking area.
