Rooms very french. Restaurant gourmet excellence, but expensive! If you want to walk back to your room, don't go for the discovery menu! Could not eat like that for a second night!
Very spacious rooms with good beds. Availability of a good quality, very reasonably priced "second" restaurant on site to complement the two Michelin-starred main gourmet restaurant. Cheerful helpful staff. On-site free parking. Excellent free in-room WiFi service. Unexpected delay in their Laundry Service 2days instead of same day service as promised. No explanation or apology.
Outstanding food and excellent service.
The elaborate meal and incredible service were the best we have ever had! The hotel room was top quality and our stay in Vienne was brilliant!
The sheer professionalism of the staff, and their very good insight into the sort of guests they had - at least in our case. They were engaging, funny and very good at their jobs. No
Ihave stayed there before and I enjoy it very much
Did not visit for the star restaurant, but was very happy with the bistro. Nice large room, good food, nice garden, friendly staff.
basic & clean. Good for a one night stopover but not for a long stay. Resaurant very nice
good location for one night on a trip to the cote d'azur.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location for travelling through this area of France. Food excellent & good value for money. Good wine list. (If the French can't cook or have good wines, who can?)
Lovely hotel situated ideally for us travelling to the South of France. Friendly staff None
friendly staff the position is not so good and I found the hotel a bit expensive considering what they offer
Easy for car parking . Position related to Vienne itself an alternative to Lyon then Lyon Hotels are busy. The smell of wc in the bed room ( room n°18)
Position Size of room
Hotel is in a good location. Nice decor in the hall and rooms are okay. Shower gets flooded as curtain is too short.
helpfulness of staff. Breakfast good.Location excellent.Room good value for money no
Staff werer helpful - \good breakfast. Building old and rooms very small cramped reception area. . Difficult to find/ difficult to leave on Market day outside..
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't get to the hotel until about 11:00 PM, but there was no problem. Breakfast was marvelous!
Great position, very nice ambience, lovely breakfast room with pleasant outlook, perfect position
Very good staff, very helpful. The walls are very thin!
Grafitti on the walls upon entry. Walls very very thin and no sound proofing/privacy. Hair dryer dysfunctional. Rules and regulation do not permit the use of electrical appliances hence no razor or hair dryer.Check time 11:00 am. Rooms not ready for check in until after 2:30 pm. Overall a negative experience. Dingy
very bad service at the hotel, rust in shower
An excellent and friendly hotel. Good food and location for the traveller.
We liked the swimming pool and the animals and birds. We also liked our waiter and the chef.
The staff are very helpful and welcoming. There are about a million animals living in the gardens ( all in their own space) and the swimming pool was an additional surprise. The bed! Although we stayed the most basic room, the other rooms looked very nice.
The pool, once we found it was a welcome sight after a long hot journey First impressions, the hotel showed signs of neglect. The lady that met us quickly told us that the restaurant was closed on Sundays, a fact but not very helpful. We were left to find our room which was very hot and the shower area tiny. The bar was closed and we were directed to a vending machine to find a drink, the machine took our money but gave nothing in return. At breakfast we were offered a mediocre buffet which only had 1 coissant remaining, when we asked if there were any more we were told that she had already served 10 !!!, after 15mins she returned with 2 !!!!!
Nice hotel with large rooms. Good breakfast. The park was lovely to walk in. The restaurant was exclusive but very good maybe a little expensive , specially the wine-selection. (most expensive bottle 2500 €). Friendly peoples and good service.
Unbelievable atmosphere and appearance. Very expensive but probably worth it.
I was totaly surprised coming down the dirt road and then the beautiful estate opened up.
This was the only available close to Lyon Noise of the highway (room door is also outside door)
Restaurant next door/attatched was very important, easy parking and friendly staff Blankets not duvets!
My room was very noisy.
breakfast the room was not very clean
hotel location is quiet & pleasant Inadequate bathroom floor - no bath basin ! - only drainage on floor
Good price, location near the highway Receptionist only speak french language
coffee, cereal, bread and jam in the morning for € 4,50; close to a McDonalds room was more than simple; almost no comfort (we stayed one night on the way back from Spain and it was a loud, noisy and not a very pleasant night); bleak lighting in the room; very small bathroom
I didn't liked it small rooms ,no luxuary at all
Welcoming staff. Restaurant seemed OK but didn't use it. Excellent pool. Perfect for an ovenight stay en-route to the South of France.
Helpful staff, clean room Breakfast was poor with little choice
Just what we wanted as a stopover! Parking, a comfortable bed, an excellent evening meal and a good breakfast to get us on our way>
Food (Dinner) and staff service were very good Needed some tender loving care and a little bit of money spent to do that.
Swimmimg pool and food, and the settting of the hotel. We found finding the hotel difficult as the address did not register with the sat nav, and the signing was poor
The swimmingpool was very ok, the beds in the room were also ok, the bathroom didn't haven any possibility to shower without getting your bathroom all wet... The room was old and smelled odd and used. The food in the hotel was horrible, we were starving but didn't eat the meat because is was really burnt (black and the taste was very bitter), don't eat in the hotel. Some other guest warned us up front, but we were too lazy to go somewhere, we have regret that very much! The personell didn't even react to our complaints (the owner, his wive was a very unkind and rigid person, we didn't like our stay....
very kind staff, and the quality of the kitchen. No
Better facilities than you would expect from a 3-star hotel. Easy access when you need a stop-over.
Comfortable warm room after long day's travel. Restaurant closed but coffee available.
It was on our route through France and it allowed pets
