Pros (+) The location was convenient with direct beach access. It was near First Landing State Park to do some hiking. The rooms are all suites, so they are pretty big.
Cons (-) This is a newly remodeled hotel and it shows. The biggest downside is the staff and management. Housekeeping was great and they were cleaning everything. Towels weren't refreshed and those that have access to the pantry were often waiting for pantry to be refilled. In our 4 day stay, the pantry coffee machine didn't work at least twice, and they ran out of food frequently during prime breakfast ho...

Cons (-) No updates to this "resort" in at least 20-30 years. Ex: Tv was still the old bulky kind from the 90s, colors teal and pink Miami vice, furniture was old and had all manner of stains as did the dirty carpet, bathroom had a heat lamp (as lizards would use) and the walls were paper thin. Pros (+) The rooms were nice, not the most up to date but spacious. The indoor-outdoor pool with beach access was great. The bartender at the tiki bar was very friendly. The happy winds rental staff was excellent and so accommodating. Plenty of options for water sports of all ages. Beautiful beachfront property.

Cons (-) This hotel was filthy. The toilet did not flush. There were rags left laying in the hall. We left after only an hour and they refused to refund our money. Do not stay at this hotel.
