The room was clean and comfortable. When attempting to check in, there was no one at the desk for over twenty minutes and no way to get in touch with someone. Ourselves and another guest stood there waiting while the attendant was nowhere to be found. Also, I got a touch of food poisoning from the continental breakfast. So, if you are susceptible to food poisoning as I am, stay away from the sausage and eggs.
Very nice facility. Desk staff was amazing. Room was very nice. Bathroom faucet broken. Squished roach on the inside of bathroom door jam. Price point could be lower.
The facility was a bit outdated but the room was clean and it was more than $50 cheaper than the bigger hotel chains. There were thick towels in the bathroom instead of those thin rough things you get in other hotels. There was no heat on in the room when we got there. It was freezing and took a while to warm up. There was no blanket on the bed. Just a sheet and the duvet.
Fruit water, nice front staff Renovations.
I HAD PAID IN ADVANCED RESERVATION AND AFTER TRAVELING ALL DAY I GET THEIR AND THEY GAVE MY ROOM AWAY AND SENT ME TO ANOTHER HOTEL.
It was relatively quiet. Hotel staff was unfriendly, sheets had stains, pay movie service didn't work, exposed fixture in bathroom above show. Tub was too small for a bath. I can't recommend this hotel.
We came duriing renovations to the lobby so lots of crowded conditions down there. Also, rooms recently renovated are great-- all suites. BUT-- toilet was broken and never fixed. Front desk calls weren't answered. Chalking it up to the renovation...
It is a hotel Poor internet
The restaurant staff and the bar staff were Excellent We had a lot of people rotating through the dining room .
The staff in restaraunt were great. Also Jeff front desk man was very customer friendly Everyday if not twice a day told them the toilet leaked also the water in toilet was very dingy as well as toilet seat needed changed
The hotel was nice and the rooms were some what clean The service was awful. The told me the could drive me to a work event and then told me that they dont have a shuttle service on the weekend when I called weeks ahead of time to make sure of this so I didn't have to drive drunk. There was only I e person working the front desk which was Prob why she had an awful additude. And they didn't give me my cookie lol that part I didn't care much about but still thought it was funny. Don't get there breakfast it is soooo awful, powdered egg mix!? Who does that lol the only place Iv even stayed where they could actually mess up breakfast lol crack an egg you last SOB's
Nice staff, quiet rooms, good parking area. Our room was clean and had recently been updated. I was concerned by all of the reviews talking about construction noise, but we did not hear or notice any construction underway during our stay on October 29 - 30, 2015. I live in the area and we were just staying there as a treat. In the future, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel to out-of-town visitors.
The location was convenient for us. The hotel smelled of cigarettes as soon as we walked into the lobby but the room did not. The room was fine other than the pillows were kinda banged up as old. The room needed more outlets to charge devices
Clean convenient and comfortable at a reasonable price Breakfast area was a bit congested on the Sunday morning that we were there....could use a few more tables.
Great price and location Carpet is dirty, staff was nice but answered the phone while I was checking in, free breakfast was horrible.
Good sized room. Everything worked as it should. Lots of noise- there must have been a dog show in the area and even though I didn't see any dogs inside the hotel, they were outside and barking all night long. Many of the guests appeared to be part of the dog show. Probably not an issue other times. Also the plumbing made strange sounds. The bedding in my non-smoking room smelled like smoke and I had to spray everything down with Febreze.
NoThing Very noisy skit of truckers. Very dirty, used a towel to wipe my face and it smelled like throw up. Offer maker broke but still in the room. Soap messed up my skin. Horrible experience and will never go back. The towel smelling like throw up is enough to say that with co idence
Great location. Very comfortable. A/C was not very cold. Small breakfast.
The only thing I liked was the fitness room. There were a few good pieces of equipment. The whole place smells bad. There were two bums in the downstairs I noticed when I first came in. One of them was there the next morning eating at the "breakfast". If you're going to let them in, I don't see anything wrong with it... but either put them in a room or somewhere where the guests aren't walking around. The location sucks. There's a disgusting German-American restaurant within walking distance. There's a McDonald's behind that. If you want to run across the highway, you can risk it for some what looked to be average American style food. The breakfast was offensive. The oatmeal bin was full of some disgusting concoction. I put the ladle in and pulled out lumpy, bulky, hard... something. The "oatmeal" was like a rock. There's no way you can eat that. There was some loose bread. There was frosted flakes and raisin bran cereal. The coffee was horrific. All along that bum was walking around. The room was very dark and depressing. This place is nasty, go somewhere else.
Proximity to Sesame Place It's old and smells. In desperate need of renovations
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hallways were quiet. Bar was roomy with a nice variety. Indoor pool was a nice size and did not get too crowded. walking distance to some stores and variety of restaurants within a mile. 10 minutes to sesame place. Surprised it was not more expensive. Great value! Shower in the room was very basic but served the purpose.
Room looked newly updated. Friendly front desk staff. Hot tub was out of order. Pool looked dirty.
Loved the room, very comfortable and clean. Loved that they provided shaving cream and a loofa sponge, nice touch There was no coffee pot in the room.
nice facility, nice hotel, but small restaurant, breakfast was hugely expensive, no menu, room was empty. (food was good but overpriced).
Seemed nice at first glanse, some staff were good. Nice pool in basement. Don' ge caught! They say it cones with breakfast like most normal restaurants; It does NOT. MANY other customers were offended by this (including the tables all around us). Felt nickel & dimed, humiliated. We complained and they made it up to us by throwing in breakfast (as advertized), but one guy at the front desk tried to stand by his guns, insisting that they made it clear on their website (ie that the customer was wrong).... Went back and checked.... Kayak had nothing about no breakfast, and Sheraton Bucks County had FREE BREAKFAST INCLUDED -falsely. Felt so sorry for the guy at the table next to us who was a returning vet & also got duped by them-- except he jus coughed it up and got ripped off by them. He also mentioned that the discriminated against him as a returning war veteran by offering him a more expensive price if he said he was a vet. When he complained the said it was just how it is.
The room was spacious and clean. The hotel was very close to Sesame Place. Free parking! There was no fridge in the room and it costs 20$ to have it included.
Friendly staff I didn't like that our reservation was never booked, whne we arrived and were forced to stay in a smoking room.
location Doesn´t look like a Sheraton Hotel...
Staff was very friendly. There was a problem between Booking.com & Sheraton where the hotel did not have the reservation, the staff handled everything and worked it out. I was very impressed. None
Room heater didn't work, we were not accommodated for it. Also places like that should include breakfast.
The hotel as wonderful. They accomodated me when booking.com did not put through my reservation even though the hotel was full.
Breakfast that was included was very good. Staff very friendly.
location, property, rooms, breakfast buffet (monday - saturday) staff ignored us. card key broken, told to wait for manager. never show. eventually got keys, told manager would call, never did, empty liquor bottle under bed in room, old coffee cups left in room.
pool and hot tub food too expensive
Manager was pleasant. No help with luggage at checkin, have a bad back and was in a visible back brace. Room was prepaid. Was asked for credit card at checkin and my personal checking account was charged for 2 days. Was out during the day, could only speak with evening staff. The 1st person said she would call me back about it and never did. Next night, I was told that only the manager could fix it and was not able to do this until check out. The charge was for $265. Lucky that it did not cause me to go into overdraft. It was not removed until the day after I returned home. No refrigerator or microwave in the room. Food in their restaurant was very overpriced. Staff at check in were snobby and indifferent. Room was over priced, wet carpet and night table beside the bed. Sheets were changed only once in 5 days. Bathroom had a mildew smell. Air conditioning unit was very loud. Room was at the end of a very long hall. Not great for someone with a bad back.
the room overall was good. nice size beds and counter space. that there is no refrigerator in the rooms and there is no iron either. and this past time that we stayed there the ice machine was out of order in the front of the motel and we had to walk all the way to the next building on the top floor to get ice. and the front office did not know that the ice machine was out of order.
I thought the price was great! I can't think of anything I didn't like.
clean nice smell nice size bed was a little chilly didn't have heat just air.
The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean, flat screen cable tv....best deal around for staying at Parx casino
Close to the main road, shopping and the Pa. Turnpike. The fact that I stayed one night and left and there was no refund for the additional two nights.
Price was reasonable and staff was friendly No hair dryer in room and it took 3 tries to get a working iron.
Ac was loud, the door handle was not working properly
They claim the booking should not have happened. I had to drive 20 miles to find a hotel at midnight. I expect a credit James ashton
Decent hotel. Clean decent rooms. Staff was pleasant. Youth hockey convention....kids running through halls yelling and screaming. Had to complain twice once when we got there and another time overnight.
Had stayed here previously and don't remember the A/C problem and chose to go back again. I'd probably go return. Air conditioner noisy and cycled all night waking me up. It blew across the bed...when it was running, too cool, so had to cover up. After it stopped, it was too hot, had to kick off covers. Finally at 2am I got up and turned it off! It was not a good night's sleep! Minor problem, only one of the two elevators was running making wait time very long. Heard many complaints from fellow riders about how long they had to wait and how crowded it was once the elevator stopped.
The room was spacious and clean. I had gotten Lasik surgery at the clinic next door and spent the night here to heal. Staff was very accommodating and guided me through the halls when I couldn't see. Would definitely recommend this place.
Very friendly and helpful staff Got a non-smoking room that stunk like smoke. The front desk made the situation right.
Front staff was rude. A foreign student group was making a lot noise during the night.
It was clean. And we enjoyed the breakfast When we got there the pool was closed. My children were looking forward to swimming and only were able to swim 1 of the days
Clean, fairly quiet, excellent staff. Good breakfast. Clock radio in room did not have the correct time, and there was no way to fix it manually.
I love the convenience, great staff and happy atmosphere. The rain.
Clean room and friendly staff Really noisy near the elevator
Quiet location and quiet rooms, very comfortable.
I just enjoyed my time spent here with family. The pool was fun. We went about 4 times that weekend we were there. Not many people in there. Breakfast was delicious and hot. We had a problem with the bathtub and called many times. The building guy came once but no one word from anyone else all weekend.
The price and cleaniness of the room! The staff was awesome! The breakfast could have been better. The only good thing was the Belgian waffles!!!
Clean and comfortable. The staff give misinformation which reflect the lack of training received from managers. When issues arise due to the incorrect information provided by staff, the customer is liable for paying in full. They should be honest and take responsibility for their errors, but they dont. The hotel is not accessible as stated.
The hotel was well maintained, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was very good. Only negative was the noise from the local interstate not far outside our hotel room window.
Bargain for the cost, especially considering we stayed on a holiday weekend. Location is only 15-20 minutes from the Philadelphia Zoo, which we appreciated. Breakfast was tasty and main food items changed daily in our 3-day stay.
When I arrive, my room had to be changed because I was given a room with two queen beds instead of a king bed. Luckily, I had my reservation in hand and I was able to point the mistake out to the receptionist. Also, the magnetic door lock on the side door was broken, so anyone could walk into the hotel.
All in all, a pretty good hotel in the American tradition, with good points including nice staff, spacious room, free internet (not very fast though) and generally clean all around. Bathroom starting too look dated, but still clean.
It was clean and comfortable. There were no issues with service or staff. I was a really great place to stay and I can see stopping back on future travels.
Not much, alas--the front desk folks were nice. The hotel feels like a Motel 6 with Hampton decor sprayed on—bad location (next to a train line--woke me up at 5:50 am) and lots of cars, and a in-room air-conditioner that was loud enough to keep all but the most dedicated of sleepers away from a good night's rest. There's a clear lack of competition in the area, which is the only reason this place can survive (or so it seems)
Hotel was quiet and the rooms were clean and sufficiently large I wish they had given me a room on the upper floors
This hotel has full suites, so each room has a kitchen, living room, bedroom, and full bathroom. They are very spacious and would be perfect for a family. Everything was very clean and fairly new. They have a free full breakfast every morning. The quality of the hotel is still that of a 3.5 star hotel - it isn't a luxury hotel. - but the rate was absolutely incredible for what is offered and the service is excellent.
Incredible value for the money. Would be a great place to use by a family for a Philly vacation (if you have a car) or a long-term business traveler. Bed was very comfortable, loved the kitchenette, bathroom was nice and big. The breakfast was way above standard, and staff were friendly. I would definitely stay there again. Nothing.
Best hotel I've ever stayed at. Best staff, best amentities. Amazing breakfast. absolutely nothing.
Decent hotel if the staff cared. When we were trying to sleep there was a party on the floor. Called security and they did nothing. Then we called the police and they did nothing as well.
I did not like any of this hotel. I didn't like the double booked wedding, I didn't like the loud annoying drunk crazy atmosphere at 12:30, I didn't like the clueless and non helpful desk attendants. I did not like it here. The front desk was useless and had no idea how to handle themselves.
We have stayed here before and they have remodeled since. Very tasteful decor. The rooms are large and the beds are awesome. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. We love that they had coffee, snacks and wine available throughout the day. The cookies were delicious.
warm cookies in lobby The breakfast was not complimentary. The chef and omelets to order is a nice touch, but should be an option.
Staff was very friendly and the location was great. Overall we were very comfortable there. The pool was warm and the gym was clean. Pool and dining areas were small.
The place is conveniently located near Sesame Street Place which was the reason why we choose it. They do offer a shuttle to and from the park which is a huge benefit. They don't have a continental breakfast anymore. Which is rough since their coffee bar is really expensive and when you have little kids the "fancy" food isn't really what they will eat. The other complaint I have is with the shuttle. While it is useful and does provider transportation to and from the park there were times the shuttle didn't show up for like 15-20 minutes. This is really bad since the shuttle is only going half a mile to and from the hotel.
The staff was nice and the bed was comfortable. The room was dirty with mold in the shower. No one told us the pool was out of order then they tried to lie about it just happening. The food from the bistro wasn't that good. Too expensive for what we got.
The place was not clean. Upon checking to our room the bathroom floor was covered with black marks, the tub along with toilet seat were dirty. The hotel could have been a lot more cleaner.
Location, convenience, price.
The location & the breakfast buffet. Everything was fresh & tasty. We were there for two ayes. Housekeeping did not clean our room. When I called the front desk, they were very apologectic.
Horrible service. Never had maid service and front desk very rude when I asked for towels. Check in was slow and they had all of our details incorrect.
the room was clean and what I expected. location was good, though somewhat difficult to find. service was poor. I had only decaf coffee packets in my room when I checked in - then was told by the desk clerk that he couldn't get me any regular ones. the shower nozzle came off in my hand when trying to adjust it
Very convient for sesame place. Also went to Princeton from there. Staff was always very helpful. One manager-I believe his name was Angelo, gave out stickers and toys to my two young children during breakfast. Love that the very big breakfast was included. We stayed in a king suite which was perfect for my husband and two young children and myself. Was definitely worth the money. The first room we were placed in was nonsmoking but wreaked of smoke. We told the front desk and they moved us right away.
