The staff did not recognize my rental and claimed that they did not have my contact information from Kayak to inform me that they had cancelled my reservation and did not have cars available. My phone number and contact details were clearly listed on the reservation with Kayak.Cons:
They were not willing to make any accomodation. It would have been better if I had gone elsewhere.4.0 Mediocre

The best thing about my Avis experience was the people! Everyone was friendly and efficient, and personable. Pickup was quick, with no pressure for upsells. Dropoff was really fast, someone met me at my car door with a pen to take down the mileage. The car was clean, with no strong smell.2.0 Poor

Desk was hard to find - directions could have been more clear. Dropoff took far longer than it needed to because there was only one staff member to handle ~10 pickups/dropoffs at 5 pm on Sunday.8.0 Very good

The location was good and the staff was generally polite and helpful.Cons:
Their office organization is not great. We waited an oddly long time both getting the car and dropping it off. Dropping it off was a bit tedious, we had to wait behind 4-5 people getting cars when all we needed to do was hand in the paperwork, it was already paid for. Seemed unnecessary.8.0 Very good

Budget desk is in the Charles river hotel which is not difficult to find as long as you ask the hotel employee. However when we returned the car, the lady had a terrible attitude. There's a long line and it's almost closed which is not our fault but she still yelled at us9.6 Wonderful

We arrived on time and the representative saw our reservation in the computer system, but she said that there were no more cars available. She didn’t really apologize or offer any other solutions like connecting us with another location. She just said they had no car and she couldn’t help us.2.0 Poor
