being from interstate having accomodation to attend wedding, cleanliness & lovely gardens only that the lighting in the room was so dim
The ambience was pleasant. It reminded me of an English Country House Hotel. Gardens were relaxing and peaceful. Food was good The only problem I had, was making an appointment at the Spa. I left one mesage two weeks prior to our stay, but received no reply. I left two more messages before I received a reply, and consquently missed being able to have a massage
a minbus to transfer guests between hotel and equestrian centre, open range zoo etc as the distances are quite far apart for walking. Rooms are a little small and poky in the classic room category, but this is due to the heritage building and apparently cant be altered.
Good clean hotel - But... Look out for the West Waters sign as the Mercure brand is not visible and can send you round the circle, particularly because there is another Mercure hotel in the vicinity. Two rooms we had booked together were at either end of the block - because we had not requested next to each other! No instructions as to how to call the other room using their phone system. Overpriced for what's on offer.
everything so good when i live in this hotel, feel like at home.
they even left a pair of stinky socks on the floor , can not believe that , and the duty manager who dealt with this issues was not professional and make me feel sick of it . the room is stinky .
The staff. Hotel Employee at the front desk was lovely. The gym also. Bedding.
the hotel is clean and comportable. and the staffs are very kind.
It was clean. This was no where near a 4 star hotel. This is a Quality Inn - like Clarion, not like a Hyatt. This was a perfectly good, clean, 2-star hotel. However, I places a bid for a four star hotel.
everything was perfect & free wifi in the room nothing
Simply one of the best places we have stayed in a long time. Mostly we stay at hotels, where you are greeted, checked in and then ignored. What surprised me was at breakfast Stephanie introduced everyone to everyone, and remembered names (and coffee orders) everyday. Our room was huge, with a king bed, and very comfortable. Own bathroom with old style claw bath. Private outside space. Free wi-fi and probably the best breakfasts we have had for ages. Only morning we had a brunch to go to after b/fast and sadly the "4 star" eatery was a sad imitation on Steph's b/fasts. But as her husband said "we had been going this a long time, and we only do b/fast, so we have to get it right".
