Pros: If you don't want to stay in Frankfurt, this place will be a great alternative. After finishing a process for rental cars, we headed for Heidi's house around 20:00 and arrived there at 21:00, which made our schedule for the next day easier. The bedroom was large enough for 2 people and the bed was really comfortable. The host, Heidi was kind and helpful. It is of a great value.
Cons: Our rooms were on the ground floor and just outside was a garden, which could make some insects come inside of your room. Although the room was clean and tidy, we found a grasshopper on the bed and some other bugs on the floor. It was a little surprise but not what we expected.

Pros: We stayed here as part of our driving tour through Europe. We stayed in many 5 star hotels.....this little gem was our best nights sleep by far! The bed was so comfortable, there were fantastic shutters to provide a perfect dark room for sleep. There were drinks available to buy in the fridge in the breakfast room. There was a lovely swimming pool available to use also. And Erika, she was just lovely, she couldn't do enough for us and was so welcoming.

Pros: Erika was very welcoming and the house was lovely and spotlessly clean. The views from the balcony were absolutely amazing, the bed was large and comfy - so much so I didn't want to get up in the morning! The shower was brilliant with really strong preasure. It was a great stay. Hopefully we will come again in the future.

Pros: - Super friendly owner, we rode our bicycle up to the location so we were quite tired. The owner offered to take us to the restaurant so we saved energy. It was really nice of him. - Great view. - Super friendly. - Just a location I would reccomend.

Pros: Fantastic family owned hotel. Staff and owner couldn't have been more professional or polite. Seems they couldn't do enough for me. Comfortable room that was quite spacious, with wonderful furnishings. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied. Although I had a wake-up call at 0530, the owner called again at 0915 to make sure I had had breakfast. I did make breakfast at 0615, but at 0920 I couldn't figure out how to get my rental's manual transmission into reverse....who came to the rescue? The owner, of course. A terrific stay and I'm already scheming for a return trip.

Cons: The location of the property is incorrect on Booking The advertisement stated the hotel was in the city of Homberg which was our destination however the hotel is in Weingut on Homberg Main. Which is almost 3 hours east of the city of Homberg. Fortunately we were flexible with our plans and changed accordingly and took the hotel owners advise and toured the nearby town of Wurtzburg. However the location information is very misleading and should be correct immediately to prevent others from having this difficulty.

Cons: That breakfast will be served in the cafe of the bakery on the opposite side of the street, was clear before - the breakfast also was good and enough (classic continental), the only thing, that was a little curious, was that if you wanted a second cup of coffee you had to pay extra - in my opinion a breakfast, for what I payed already in a hotel, should include a second cup of coffee. Not a big thing, but got me frowning a little bit.

Pros: Hotel is located at the centre of Wertheim, within pedestrian area, no cars allowed. Breakfast was very good, fresh and big enough, in one bakery just oposite of hotel. Staf extremely kind, they were waiting for us up to 22:30 due to problem in traffic.

Pros: The hotel is a hotel without a front desk. Very common among small budget hotels. I arrive early having not read the full description of the hotel. I was greeted by the manager and received outstanding personal service especially help in storage of my bicycle and direction around town. I later ran into him on my way to eat and I received warm and friendly assistance in selection of a place to eat. He even escorted me and helped me stay on my path. It was the best service I have received in well over 100 European hotel stays.

Pros: We arrived after a little search and found out that "La Flamme" seems to be a branch of a local franchise who serve French style "Tarte Flambee" or "Flammekueche". The food was delicious and there were figuratively dozens of variations available. The hotel is located in the same historic building in the center of Wertheim. It features a small number of rooms, which are all newly renovated. Very charming, practical and functional. Our host and his staff were amazing, we thoroughly enjoyed the place. For breakfast (since the restaurant is closed in the morning) they arranged a deal with a nearby bakery: You walk in, tell them that you come from the hotel and the next thing you know is that a delicious breakfast is served.

Pros: This is the second time i stay in the Bella Riva. The location is very nice and you can reach many restaurants that are all at walking distance. The room is comfortable and clean, modern and comfy. The staff is kind and smiling. Don't expect a chain-like hotel, this is more a family business, and this is what I like of it.
Cons: The water flow from the shower is a bit weak. I understand water saving but I like the morning boost of an energetic flush from the shower!

Pros: Everything was very nice. When we arrived (with our 2 children of 5 and 8) we were asked if we would like to inspect cheaper rooms, because of the age of our children. The little bit smaller rooms were very nice and clean. Hotel staff was always very friendly. Breakfast buffet was also good. Really can recommend this hotel!

Pros: The location is quite secluded - very small village in the fields. Very nice and quiet surroundings, we had nice walks with our dogs there.) The staff is extremely nice there! We were late for the breakfast for more than an hour and they served us with no problems. All people are very friendly. The room was very clean and had enough space for two. Enough of parking space. Breakfast is good and we tried a dinner there - also very good. If this location fits - then I can highly recommend! We discovered few cities on the way to Austria which we didn't see before - Bamberg and Wurzburg and it was very comfortable for us.

They have to fix the refrigerator or they should change the specifications about the room! This is unacceptable situation and I disappointed a lot. Also, check out time was 11:00am but the personel forced to leave me at 10:30 am, this was really rude!

Pros: The restaurant part of the hotel was closed for holidays when we arrived. There was no personnel to welcome us, just a key on a piece of paper with or name on it. The room was small, the beds were too short. The first time I saw someone from the hotel was at breakfast, no one asked if we were satisfied with our stay. The breakfast was very average, but okay. The hotel is situated outside the town, about a 30 minute walk to the center of Marktheidenfeld.

But the wonderful meal at it's restaurant (and the beer!) made us return to the place on our way back home after a week's time. Alas, the hotel was full that evening but the owner found us another place to stay in no time at all. Of course, we had a meal with a few beers there.

Pros: Location is great, close to the motorway. The area is very quiet and peaceful in a village. The family run hotel is worth more than 2 stars. We had a large family room (nr3) for the 4 of us. The dinner was delicious, freshly made, breakfast was perfect, too. After a long day spent in the car our kids were over tired and exhausted but the lady gave us toys and balloons, rocking chair and entertained them. I really appreciated it. 5 star customer service with eye on details and personal touch.
Cons: I didn't like the smoke coming to our room and the dining room from outside the restaurant but they have a lot of regulars who smoke. Pillows were not comfortable at all, I think they should be replaced.

Pros: Good bedding, no noise and in the middle of the old town in a small no traffic street. I like the fact that it was not a buffet breakfast but that they bring the very food and plentiful food to your table ( minute made eggs etc) and that on top of all you could bring all bread and toppings with you for a picnic for free and they even provide you with a picnic bag. The hotel informed us that they are battling against food waste. There are several restaurants within a 3 minutes walk. Overall a very recommendable place!
