Cheap tariff. Very comfortable bed. Easy to drive to from Canberra. Very handy to airport. Relatively easy access to bus service to City. Flexible about check-out time (11am was fine with them).
no coffee/tea facilities, no toiletries, very poor standard, very basic, not what was expected. Only good side was convenience to airport.
Checking out! Room was small like a prison cell. Beds are metal framed. Bathroom is tiny. tv is very old and chained to the wall! There is no hair dryer, no iron (except in laundry room on ground floor), no toiletries, no kettle. Wifi is very expensive. Only rubbishy fast food outlets nearby. They charge a ridiculous $6 aud one way for shuttle bus - you can walk to the domestic terminal, it takes 5 minutes.
The new block of rooms is clean. Flat screen TV. Staff cordial. The wireless internet service was expensive and not at all reliable.
My room smelled, was tiny, and there was no privacy out my window which faced across the parking lot to a busy Krispy creme.
The Ibis Budget Hotel is close to the airport and there are a lot of fast food restaurants nearby. You can park in front of the hotel for 15$ per night. If you're taking a shower the whole floor of the bathroom gets wet, very inconvenient. There were a lot of ants in our room, but we got a new room with the same problem. I recommend to stay only one night if you really have to.
At least it is clean Too many Staff was rude and incompetent - gave me the wrong room number n key card A silly design in shower causes false fire alarm easily Bed is not fixed but on wheels Make sure you have the right rate as one for day and one for overnight
Quite close to the airport Small room the fire alarm ringed at 5am
Close to airport The room and bathroom needed a good cleaning. Room was minuscule , bed and pillow disappointing and hallway dark dingy and dirty. Glad I couldn't sleep and went to eat at mcdonalds.
It's very convenient to the Sydney airport; otherwise nothing too special. If you just want somewhere to stay before an early flight, it fits the bill, though staying near Central Station or Redfern would be almost as convenient. They really nickel-and-dime you: charging for wifi, for breakfast ($12 is way too much for what they provide, even in Sydney) and charging for a shuttle for the airport. I hate it when hotels do that.
Very convenient to Airport we only stayed one night more than happy to stay again, compact room, helpful staff.
Convenience to SYD airport Walls too thin. Able to hear everyone else using their toilets all through the night.
Very nice hotel, rooms were very nice. Friendly staff and very helpfull. I would certainly recommend this hotel. The second and third level have a pool area, this can be quite loud.
Clean, quiet and safe (close to police station). Staff weren't very friendly. Do not refill soaps every day. Location is not good (about 15 minutes from the central station). Although it was our honeymoon we did not get even a congratulation card (and was suggested to purchase an upgrade in full price). Breakfast was very poor.
The proximity to all sydney has to offer. The staff were very helpful.
Mainly the location and the fact that there was parking eventhough it was a bit tight for medium size sedans and anythig bigger The meals were budget and reflected as much in the flavor
The reservation of priceline was not in the system in the hotel. Only after the good staff at the hotel we could get our room
It has the perfect location, close to everything, we can even view a part of the Sydbey Opera house from our balcony. Everything you need is just a few minutes walk away. All in all it was great.
good service and very friendly staff no
Location was great, hotel was clean, very nice room, better than I thought, I booked a twin but got 2 queen beds, was a beautiful room was next to the staff laundry or tea room or something which was very loud on sat morning
Quiet. Had a lanai. comfortable. Narrow halls and not a user friendly lift
Location & services
It was ideally suited next to Rosehill racecourse where my event was held, the room I had featured the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in staying at a hotel (and I travel a lot). Restaurant could have a little more variety on the menu.
We had a wonderful time. The staff were wonderful, the food was great and the bed was the most comfortable ever
Spa facilities, location, cleanliness. room service, we ordered nachos and they didnt even put sour cream or anything on them. plus we were getting prank (?) calls at 1am saying we werent in the system..
the noise of air condition is loud
the room was great
Great location, On site parking with undercover if required,Great room rate for new year's eve Curtains in room were badly in need of attention. Gaming room was closed New Years Day. Power point for kettle was very inaccessible.
walking distance to resturants and hotel downstairs
It was located in aconvenient location for me Good quality Charges for drinking water !!
friendly staff, clean room, prompt room service.also close to the rosehill racecourse, which was our main reason for staying. the breakfast choice, even if you just wanted toast for example, still had to pay for whole breakfast,ie $25.00 so their was no choice if you just wanted coffee and toast for example and room service was the same price,so that was disappointing.
Service at the restaurant was good when we had dinner after 9pm on night of arrival. ?
Breakfast was good I liked the pillow that I had, I have always had to take my own but had forgotten to take it.
It is comfortable, quiet, well located, clean and the staff were helpful, so I had a good night's sleep. no comment
Hotel staff were friendly and approachable. It was easy to find the hotel and parking available close by. Only five minutes to Trains and major shopping. Facilities clean.
Central location and excellent parking. Staff were helpful but there needed to be more front desk staff. Fittings in bedroom e.g. curtains, were very tired and showing signs of age.Similarly, the bathroom had mould in the grouting - not attractive.
Excellent for family stays very well equipped kitchen ensuite equipped with washer and dryer, Everything you need for family stay with kids.
could not fault it. Was absolute luxury and the staff were lovely. The rooms are 5 star, incuded dishwasher & washing machine. Nice heated pool and spa none. Would definetely stay there again.
The apartments are an average size, the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately the main road noise can be a little annoying, and the blackout curtains needed attention in my room. I was also unaware that the room was un-serviced during my 3 night stay, which was disappointing given the room rate was just over $200 per night.
Good value for money for a family. Airconditioner not efficient.
it was close to my office
We found your staff very helpful & friendly - we loved our stay, even though for such a short time - I will add here you have to be very careful when entering & leaving your car park (glad we had small hire car) - but in saying this very thankful included in your rate- THANK YOU Deanne No complaints - staff very friendly - helpful
Convenient to business during stay. Quiet & good food
I actually complained about a couple of things when I booked out. The meal was expensive and very small. The pants I was wearing to work the day after staying were dirty when I got them off the hanger. They had dust marks on them where they were hanging. I ordered a pot of tea for breakfast which came with no cup. The toast I ordered did'nt even come on a plate it was wrapped in a serviette and did'nt come with any margarine. I thought the whole experience was ordinary and I would never stay again.
The only likeable feature was the buffet breakfast we were given as a trade off to not having the bedding configuration that i booked for back in November 09!! Very applicable unfortunately, as i booked 2 double beds but was told that it was unavailable and was given a fold out bed for my child who was competing at olympic park the following day, needless to say i gave up my bed so as she would have a good nights sleep, very dissapointing after travelling all day.
I loved the dinner service, the staff were polite and professional. When pooring my wine my waiter had presented the bottle to me before filling my glass, excellent service. Not at all we enjoyed our stay and so did my children, they loved the water falls along the side of the stair case.
nice hotel; not centraly located in Sydney, but good for visiting Western suburbs
Friendly, clean hotel would definitely recommend it, very helpful staff.
Quiet at night and great beds
Perfect location for Concerts at Acer Arena or events at Sydney Olympic Park, only 5 mins away. Buses run to concerts or its an easy drive with ample parking, we were back before the bus. The lobby is lovley with palms and fountains, a great pool, tennis courts and gym etc, also right next door to a bowling club and opposite Maccas and KFC if you need a snack. The room was large and comfortable. Only that the bed was a little on the firm side and the bar prices were too steep.
Very comfortable and well-appointed room. The service from hotel staff was generally very good. Staff didn't respect their "do not disturb" signs; they just gave a courtesy knock then immediately let themselves in. This happened every day of my stay.
staff were friendly, helpful. room was clean and tidy. close to central station so easy to get around. the pillows were abit on the hard side.. other than that was good.
the location was great - such a short walkf from Central Station. The place was nice and tidy and cosy and the staff at the bar were very friendly. one of the towels were soiled that was fiven to us as a new one.. and the surrounding pool area wasnt very clean. Also the treadmill at the gym wasnt working and there wasnt enough ventilation in the room.
the design of the rooms we booked online for 3 people for $239 and when we went to the counter she charged us $274est and didnt have a reason why.I feel like we were trying to be ripped off
Staff were friendly and knowledgable. Nothing.... Everything was to the standard we were expecting.
Easy to access with covered drive-in entry and valet parking. Friendly efficient staff. There was a discrepancy at checkout but this was rectified. The room booked sleeps 3 with the booking clearly stating the price is for 3. I was originally charged extra. They claimed that the on line site was misleading. While the 3rd bed was made up there was no extra towel, blanket or cutlery for the third person. Low level lighting with no makeup lighting. Would still stay there again.
Very relaxed environment no
The facilities where great - the receptionist at check in was not very friendly spoke to everybody but did not acknowledge me untill she handed the key, you can't get room service if you happen to forget to leave your breakfast menu at your front door and we booked the Superior Suite for our anniversary but felt like or in comparison to Hiloday Inn rooms this one is a Standard room.
I thought the room was clean, tidy and pretty well set out, I thought being at the front of the building I would get noise from passing traffic or late night revellers from the Castle Tavern but to my surprise it was extremely quiet so top marks there. A small thing really but I didn't like the sofa it was too small and very uncomfortable when trying to watch TV.
1. The staff, particularly those at the Reception desk, were always helpful, friendly, courteous and professional. 2. It is a well-run hotel, with happy staff. 3. Good food served in the restaurant and room service. 1. The lack of lift access from the Reception lobby to the rooms in the same wing. 2. There was a major discrepancy between the superior suite I had booked through booking.com and the standard room which the hotel had in their record of my booking. I was happy with the way the staff resolved this problem. I have drawn this to the attention of the Manager - you must not allow this sort of misrepresentation to continue!
The pool was great had it all to myself which was even better for laps. the room was comfortable and clean and they changed all the towels for the next day great service.
As we were staying a few days it was great to have a suite as more like a home away from home. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
very nice beautiful gardens not enough parking for hotel guests when functions are on
well the in house parking and the front desk service were great the bed was hard and all night i was scratching from bed mites i informed the front desk when checked out.
The convenience, in the centre of town, walking distance to theatre, shops and restaurants nothing
The location of the hotel. The staff were rude and incompetant.
The location in the heart of Parramatta was fantastic. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent and there are so many restaurants close by. I parked the car at the hotel and walked everywhere.
I like it with everything. The best I can't say anything because I didin't come across with any problem
New room was great Price for new year stay, on going renovation
The proximity to transport was great.
central location, free internet (3 hrs/day), clean modern rooms would have preferred wifi in rooms, only ethernet broadband available
Good location near central station and transport facilities, shops and bars.
convienience to everything restaurant & bar not open sun nights , little difficult with kids to find a place to eat & have a drink, other than chinese / macdonalds
The fact it was close to the city. The staff were great and the breakfast was great too.
Handy to railway station, markets, china town The floor was wet because people came in dripping from the rain outside, ramp was very slippery almost slid over.
Being able to get around the city without to much hussle. Having coffee and something to eat without going to far away from the hotle. The one day of rain but it did not slow us down that much.
very convinient location front desk was under staffed during our stay. waited for 15 minutes to check-out
The lovely big bed and the movies Sauna was not accessible
