The staff were EXCELLENT!!! Sondra and I believe Tiffany was her name but she had beautiful firey hair. Both were amazing! House keeping was excellent and very nice. The pillows are so comfy and an amazing view of the mountains. It's my fault I should've done more research before I booked the hotel. But one of the main reasons I came to Colorado was to experience legal marijuana and to my surprise I wasn't allowed to smoke marijuana in my smoking room. That would be the only complaint that I have. I really feel you should be able to smoke in a smoking room. I'll stay somewhere else on my next visit unless your policy changes, other than that I will be back to visit Sondra and "Tiffany".....I think.
The amenities were great! The breakfast was excellent! The rooms were very modern and appealing. The beds were comfortable and there was just enough room for my husband, two children, and myself. I wish that they would have had a pool. Also, they need a few more outlets for charging cell phones and computers.
After checking the bed for bed bugs, I was able to get some sleep on a fairly comfortable based. On arrival, I had to walk past smokers hanging around the entrance. Walking in, there was the lovely scent of heavily used ashtray. I hoped that it would be different in my room so I proceeded to the elevator. I got to my room and the moment of truth, opened the door, but there were no angels singing. Instead, the trapped scent of dirty, wet carpet escaped into the hallway, surrounding my senses (at least two). If I had not been so freaking tired, I would have walked away. Instead, I checked the bed for bedbugs, opened the window, and crashed. On a positive note, the water was hot for my shower.
The staff members were top-notch and willing to assist in any way possible. The room was comfortable and fairly quiet. Stay away from the "Tokyo Queen" room if you need more space than just to turn around. It's truly tiny. The only hot entree on the breakfast table was the biscuits and "gravy".
Clean environment with a friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Quite possibly the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in. Was more comfortable to sleep on the floor. Was supposed to check in at 2pm, but the room wasn't ready until closer to 3.
The beds and the waffles at breakfast The floors were sticky in the room had to wear my shoes the whole time and the top blanket was pretty badly stained other then that every things else was perfect
Paid a little more than I wanted for a motel 6, but was told it had gone through a remodel. And I was desperate to find a place in the area. When I opened the door to the room, I was pleasantly surprised at first. The room did look updated. But after 2 minutes we saw 3 roaches, so I moved my luggage back to the vehicle. The mattresses were cheap and uncomfortable. The remote to TV did not work. And when I woke in the middle of the night to use restroom, I turned on the light to many more roaches, so I left the light on the rest of the night. When I laid back down, I noticed my sheets had a couple spots on them, after further investigating, they were crusted red and yellowish. That was it. I brought my sleeping bag in to finish the night. My children noticed the roaches, but I didn't wake them to concern them with what I found. I made them shower in the morning, thank god that worked fine. I'm not one to raise hell and come across as someone looking for a free room, so I didn't say anything, I'm sure they already know they have these problems. I just will never stay there again. And I thought others should know what they are getting into. I've heard the saying " you can polish a turd, but you still have a turd when your finished". They put in new tv's, new beds( but used cheap matresses") new showers, new furniture and fixtures, new flooring( flooring is already peeling up). We were returning from vacation in Yellowstone, with 6 other people, always staying in two rooms. We were gone for two weeks and stayed in many hotels and motels on our way there and back. This was the worst by far!!!!! The only good things about this place was location
Room was clean, and bed was comfortable. For some reason was given a handicap room.
There was nothing to like about this hotel! The pool was closed and they lied and kept telling us it would be open the next day and it never opened. The room was supposed to be non smoking but reaked of smoke and their were burn holes in the shower and curtains. When I reported it they said there were no other rooms available. We had just traveled 1500 miles and were exhausted or we would have immediately got a new hotel. There were questionable people living in the hotel. A guy that just banged on the door next to ours and yelled for the guy to answer for about 45 min at midnight and then a big dog barked for hours after that. It was just a horrible stay the price was outrageous for what they provided and for the state of the hotel and room. I felt unsafe and it was just awful after traveling for so long I do not recommend this hotel to anyone! You can find a better deal don't stay here!
The location is good, being very close to several major interstate interchanges, allowing easy access to Denver How hard is it to have non-smoking rooms that don't smell like ash trays? I get it that people break the rules, but it seems as if only Motel 6 is incapable of purchasing the deodorants and cleaning supplies necessary. Also, a three inch mattress isn't adequate under any circumstances, but putting a three inch mattress on a wooden plank is a joke.
THERE WAS NOTHING WE LIKED ABOUT THIS HOTEL. The front desk girl Cynthia was so rude we cancelled on the spot after she continued to insult us and roll her eyes THERE WAS NOTHING WE LIKED ABOUT THIS HOTEL. Still haven't heard back from corporate on what they're going going tl do to resolve our issue
Staff were helpful when we needed a non-smoking room, we were efficiently given a new room. Empathetic staff. The bugs (roach and a beetle). Cigarette butt on the floor. Tiny space.
It is right off I-70 making it easy to continue on your way. I booked it because it was cheap and available that morning. You can hear outside. The parking is dimly lit. Could barely tell the difference between the white chocolate bar on the sink and the soap in the shower. Both were a little bitter and wrapped the same. On second thought, I think they were both soap.
Basically everything!! Loved it! We all decided that we'd come back to this hotel next time we stop in Colorado! The water pressure from the shower head.
