Club Wyndham Patriots Place offers studio, one-bedroom standard and one-bedroom deluxe resort suites that comfortably sleep two to four guests and range from 380 to 870 square feet. Studio suite features one queen bed and a kitchenette. One-bedroom suites feature private bedrooms with a queen bed and queen sleeper sofa in the living area. You will appreciate the economy of a kitchenette or full kitchen, separate living/dining areas, and a fireplace to cozy up to on chilly nights in some resort suites. The impressive 18th century living history museum is packed with 500 reconstructed and restored buildings, stores, taverns, and homes. Take a stroll through the lush gardens or relive the Revolutionary War drama during a live reenactment. Busch Gardens and Water Country U.S.A. are two family friendly theme parks located just south of the resort. For outdoor enthusiasts, there's lots of boating, fishing and outdoor water sports in the James and York Rivers. Shoppers can enjoy a little retail therapy, not to mention huge savings, at the Williamsburg Outlet Mall and Riverwalk Landing. Pack up the car and enjoy a leisurely day trip in Yorktown, Jamestown, or the gorgeous Virginia Beach. Cons (-) The room is poorly set up, cramped and zero privacy from neighbors or the hallway due to doors that don't fit properly and cheap craftsmanship of the unit itself. Pros (+) Very clean, great value for the area. The property is well maintained, with a playground and pool, and the Williamsburg visitor center is only about a 2 minute drive.
Cons (-) Keep in mind this is a timeshare property. There was a fifteen minute check-in process, that though friendly, was sales focused and not what we needed at 10:15 at night with a screaming two year old in the car. Otherwise everything was excellent.
