Pros: Car was clean and reliable and was the model of first choice even with day before reservation. Rates were competitive.
Cons: Pushed unnecessary insurance a little hard and couldnt give directions for one way drop off location. Surprised about additionsl $200 above charges hold on credit card

Pros: Rental was clean
Cons: Poor customer service, the protection plan was not explained up front. I had a flat tire during my trip and when I called for assistance, I was told it was my problem because I didn't pay for the protection plan. When I communicated that the details of the coverage were not spelled out to me, I was repeatedly told they were. I ended up calling Triple A for assistance, only to find out the spare tire was flat as well. Both customer service in VA and PA were unacceptable and will be reported to Hertz, directly. I will never rent from the company again.
Pros: The car we received was a perfect size. I love the gas mileage it got. We didn't have to spend a great deal of money on gas and time stopping to get gas. Helpful people at the airport and at the place we actually got the car from.
Cons: We did not know that the car rental place was not at the airport and there was not a shuttle to the place we had to pick up our car. That was a big shocker. The young lady at the airport called the place that we rented the car from and we were well taken care of.
The car windows were so dirty that we couldn't see out of them at night. We had asked the guy who cleans the car to clean them again but even his second round of cleaning was terrible. He acted as if we were putting him out.
