The hotel itself was clean and the staff were pleasant, don't get me wrong. But the room was pretty much the bare minimum - barely even 1 chair. No fridge (they did bring one up - it was basically just a little mini-freezer though - not so great for insulin). TV only sorta works - several channels blinked in and out constantly, and there was no way to plug in the laptop to stream instead, or even watch any PPV or anything - really just pretty much didn't have a TV. AC was really loud. Shower took more than 5 minutes to warm up and didn't stay warm for long - consistently, every day we were there, all day. It wasn't what we expected from Hampton.
Hotel was very clean and staff was great. Only let down was no refrigerator in the room. i had never stayed in a Hampton Inn without a refrigerator in my many years of travel. Would have been ok had we not brought leftovers back from a dinner to take home the next day. Breakfast was well set out with choices of hot and cold cereal, yogurt, omelet, potatoes, and sausage. And of course waffles. Very convenient location for all the Williamsburg attractions.

Pros:The location was close to Busch Gardens and the pool was great.
Cons:The sink was clogged up and when they unclogged it it made the room smell terrible! The housekeeping was a bit lacking as well. The room didn't get cleaned till close to 3 p.m. and the sheets weren't even changed! Not to mention the king size bed looked like it had queen size sheets and comforter on it. We left two days earlier than planned. The staff appeared a bit snobby as well. I will never stay in this hotel again. I would prefer to sleep in a tent!

Cons:The lobby area is decent, but not impressive. That's my only negative. Everything else was spot on.
