Set in the heart of town, all of the points of interest were within walking distance. The staff was very helpful, suggesting local cuisine and directing us to the proper times to dine. I recommend the mijas at Migueras about 4 blocks from the hotel. Although it doesn't open for lunch - the major meal of the day - until 1:30.
modern hotel with tasteful furnished rooms, comfortable beds, fancy bathrooms, excellent location in the historic center; wide selection at breakfast, excellent service due to attentive, helpful, qualified and even German-speaking staff in the restaurant, easy access to the main shopping areas. unfriendly and impolite reception desk (this is mostly applicable to a male employee, who kept the guests waiting while he was on a long phone conversation), the outdoor swimming pool was without water and the sun terrace was closed. The fitness room and the sauna were completely missing.
Location, room design, size and capacity space for clothes. They let us leave the room between 13:00 and 13:30 instead of 12:00.
Hotel is new as of October 1, 2010. So facilities are in top notch shape. Room was enormous and well-appointed. Staff is still learning. Some minor "fit and finish" problems in room.
wonderful shower mirror didnt steam up. very comfortable bed & room good breakfast the entrance looked dull & didnt create a very good impression
The location is very central No English TV channels, no spa facilities
It is a design hotel: nice bathroom, wide screen tv, decoration attractive. Hotel is in the middle of the centre. Breakfast had a lot of choices. Shower temperature kept changing: from very cold to almost boiling hot: dangerous!
A relatively small hotel, but very central for shopping and sightseeing.Good underground car park.
We have stayed at the Silken Zentro many times and always enjoy it. The hotel is very central and within walking distance to everything. The rooms are modern and comfortable and the staff very accommodating. We also like it because they have parking beneath so checking in and out is easy. It is a very modern hotel built on top of the ancient ruins that exist all over Zaragoza and that are on display through glass in this hotel.
The room itself was perfect - it was the last leg of our "minimoon" and after lots of typical Spanish hotels this hotel gave us a good rest: the bed was huge and comfortable; wifi actually worked; it was very spacious and modern and the shower was strong - the jacuzzi bath was a nice touch too (we stayed in Avanza - one of the superior doubles/suites for eur99).
Location, design Shower door should avoid water to go to the bathroom floor
Good staff Internet not working
I really liked the location and the comfort of the room. Everything was quite pleasant. Our shower was leaking and we had to mop the tiled floor, so that it wouldnt run down the next floor.
good location. hotel staff were not friendly. coffee at breakfest was bad. It is absolutely overpriced (212 Euro per night without breakfest).
Comfortable room, well equipped close to sights and shops
The room overlooked the air conditioning shaft and there was a constant noise. All in all the hotel is not bad, but it is not what we expected from a 4 star hotel.
good location room was not clean, double bedroom booked with king size bed but not available, the bar is not cosy.
location very close to airport Girona rooms not too large; too hot and aircon did not work properly
Excellent location. Good parking. No real negatives.
The Central Nature of the hotel, parking and superb staff It is undoubtedly noisy, particularly so in the front rooms
Central location, good breakfast buffet Cost of parking
The hotel is in a good central position for the historic sites - recommend the Zaragoza card Prefer to have breakfast included in the price. Would like to have seen a more Arogonese dinner menu and more Arogonese wines on the standard menu - Sunday was the Arogonese evening.
Comfy bed. Excellent location within walking distance of main sights . We had a meal in the restaurant which was good value. Parking - choose this instead of sister next door for ease of parking in garage.
Everything was absolutely wonderful!!!! I will highly recomend this hotel to anyone who wants to have a really pleasant stay at Zaragoza. Perfect location, spacious room, clean and a very friendly and helpful staff! Garage was very convenient too. Just perfect!!!!
Central location, helpful staff
I liked the fact that it was downtown, very near of my conference location.
Excellent location, very good variety of food for breakfast Had asked for a non smoking room, I think thier idea of one is to hide the ash trays!! The hotel looks a bit tired, could do with a 'makeover'.
Centre location, excellent.Lift from safe car park, excellent.Ease of use and comfort, excellent.Good menu and helpful staff.Enjoyable stay.
The best feature of this hotel is that guests are in a city center hotel for a reasonable price. The reception staff could have been a little more friendly, especially the male staff.
Excellent location for major sights in walking distance, 10 minutes away from airport bus terminus, good breakfast Furniture in room and decor need updating
The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is excellent I can't think of anything.
Location. Value for money. Breakfast. Room size. Parking facilities. Some street noise. No free WiFi.
The positiom staff andservices
garage facility, good price, clean and recent bad insonorization- reception called at 24 h when we came to the room sayng that the next door guest complainted about the noise. We were just talking normaly !
the location is central The bed is terrible, the room smell dump, the forniture is very old and ugly.
Good central location, ample parking in the hotel although a bit expensive at 19.95 per day. Good value for the money, mind you I'd rate it a 4 star business hotel not 5.
Exceptional hospitality, service. Some of the facilities need renovating or modernizing.
the friendliness of the hotel staff. willingness to assist with Feria del Pilar information.
The languge is the main problem!! The only people who speak english are reception staff, and you have to face problems with room service, laundry, and resturant staff if you are not speaking spainish.
Multilingual staff at reception desk. Restaurant is open till 23 PM. Every time you enter the room, a commercial video is played on the TV screen. Annoying!
The facilities and location are excellent. The staff was extremely professional. The nightly rate was excellent through booking. com 20 Euros a day for parking is excessive. However, when bundled with the room rate, the value is still exceptional.
Courteous staff, clean and spacious. I would recommend this hotel for business use only; as long as you did not want to keep fit at the same time. See my comments below. Nothing to do at the hotel if the weather was bad. The Spa Treatments were not at the actual hotel; you had to go to a Health/Leisure Club situated on the adjacent street. The gym/sauna that were at the hotel were locked; you had to go to the reception to have the door unlocked and then wait 20 minutes for the sauna to be switched on and warm up. There was not any drinking water available in the gym and to add salt to the wounds I was charged 8 Euros for using the sauna.
Well located, friendly helpful staff, large well appointed rooms
friendliness of the reception staff no
We enjoyed being treated with respect, having the car taken to garage and brought back when needed. Difficulty to find especially as road works had closed roads. Took us nearly two hours to find from reaching Zaragoza.
Ease of access to City centre. reception staff and porters excellent, very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast good and staff very attentive. The toaster was tempperamental !
An architectural gem of a hotel with lots of character. Within reasonable walking distance of the city centre. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which was a bit of a surprise in a city hotel. Quite difficult to find.
The locality, the ambiance, the service,
The hotel was very well located. It was easy to find and the service was also excellent. The staff were very attentive to our needs. The standard of the rooms were also very good, spacious and very clean. When we return to Zaragoza we will be staying at the same hotel.
Central Location, Clean, Staff v good Breakfast a bit dear, as cafes just outside for half the price
Location, prestige A little devoid of atmosphere, unnecessarily so
Ideally situated in center of city. Big rooms. International hotel so all is very professionel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Possibility to use parking service to your car (altough a bit expense). Lift is a bit small. There were 2 marriages the day we stayed in the hotel so lots of noise untill small hours of the night. Parking is a problem (as you would expect in the center of a city).
noise, airconditioning not functioning
perfect location, nice and friendly staff not many people spoke english
Location is excellent for walking to key shops, attractions, and restaurants in the old town. Room well-appointed and comfortable. Hotel across the street from a nightclub which was very loud and had bright lights on into the wee hours for rooms at front of hotel. Bring earplugs.
Perfect in the center of city, for business, city holiday It is difficult to come to the hotel by car, and one should be aware that additional price for carparking is 17,50€ per night
very central and convenient location night club opposite (Friday night)
right next to the center, and amazing price
clean. comfortable. good bathroom. the nightclub outside.
The hotel location Was cold
It is a clean, quite comfortable hotel with quite spacious rooms on the edge of the historic centre of the city. For the purpose of visiting this central area it seems to be well priced. The dining and bar facilities were closed. The parking is in a very restricted space and access to individual cars is so limited that damage to paintwork from the doors of adjoining vehicles seems very likely.
Excellent value and service. What I would have expected from a much more expensive hotel, but without any pretentions. Perfect location to explore city, shop and eat out.
Noisy room. No sight. It's just a room, clean anyway.
The central location of the hotel
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was tasty and offered a lot of choice. It is located near pretty much everything you would want to visit in Zaragoza and the area it is in is very pleasant and we felt very safe. We really enjoyed our stay and if we go back we will definitely be staying here again!
The perfect base for our stay in Zaragoza
The room was good and the beds were extremely comfortable. Above all the staff were exceptional. Getting to the Hotel was a nightmare and took us over an hour from the autovia. We kept finding the sign and then it just disappeared.
Clean and very quiet.
Good location. has its own parking. a large, pleasant room. clean and tidy. good price for this hotel. Difficult to reach by car first time. No WiFi in some rooms.
The location was great. It was 5 min away from all the great restaurants and clubs. And it has an advantage with the parking. In the room description it was stated "sound-proof rooms". Unfortunately the rooms were extremely noisy.
very friendly and helpfull staff on reception and restaurant. Restaurant excellent and good value. Excellent position with parking only a 100 meters or so away
Fantastic location and friendly staff
La calefacción funcionaba perfectamente. Las camas eran firmes. El personal, amable. Y la ubicación, excelente. La relación calidad/precio inmejorable.
location, ambiance, ,kindness staff
Very fiendly reception staff, central location and clean rooms with comfortable beds and good showers. We had two rooms next to each other with children and this worked well.
The lockation The breakfast and the person in charge for the breakfast
Really good position in town. Really good price for that location. No restaurant menu in my room. Didn't know how much it would cost to eat there.
Great location, clean rooms. Offered parking was on the streets, so indoor car park next to the hotel seemed safer.
Very nicely located hotel that provides excellent quality rooms for the price that is charged. Rooms are clean and well-maintained. We had a nice view from our upper floor room. Computer terminals were provided in the lobby for checking email.
Location was great Their machine could not handle chip and pin credit cards or debit cards. I had to run out of the hotel at 6 AM to find a cash point in order to pay them in cash !!!!!
Excellent male receptionist.Could speak good English nothing was too much trouble and clearly explained all the hotels and parking details.Excellent location.Good quality breakfast buffet. The female receptionist on Sunday morning was very poor just didn't seem bothered not help full at all.Charge for parking a bit expensive considering it was on a different street.
The location was excellent – right in between the historical area and the shopping area. The room was great – cool, clean and comfortable. And we had a great view from the front of the hotel. The breakfast was so so. Not very much choice and only one staff member who didn't seem very interested. But I would stay there again as everything else was great.
Very friendly staff. Nice buffet breakfast. There's wifi in every room (just ask for the password). Right in the center of Zaragoza.
The location of the hotel was great, parking was provided at a reasonable cost and the staff were friendly. N/A
Friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Badly needs renovation. Looks rundown.
The central position gives good access to all the main attractions. Car park only takes small cars.
I was in an annexe of the hotel, just around the corner from the main building. As such, it was very quiet and private. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. Also, the location of this hotel is second to none, very close to the Plaza del Pilar. I don't think there were any negative points at all.
The staff were all lovely and very helpful. Location was excellent. Good comfortable bed. Parking close by and secure. Our room was rather small and the bath was tiny. We would still stay in the hotel again though.
Good double glazed windows so very quiet although looked onto sreet. Close to tourist spots and good places to eat.
the kindness of the staff
-Position, quite central. In the bathroom they have anything, toothbrush and shaving razors. Friendly staff. Breakfast not included but cheap at 8 euros. -The room was difficult to open because of defective key. The air conditioning was incontrollable. I payed 128 euros / night, really really expensive for what it was. Because of this price I will never ever stay at this hotel again even if they reduce the price.
The confort of the room and the location of the hotel.
The location Needs urgent maintenance. Paint peeling from the wall in the bathroom, the window did not shut properly in the room, so noise from airpumping system entered freely from the courtyard. Based on previous reviews, I booked an internal room far from the lift, but the lack of proper double glazing kept the problem of noise an issue. The overall feeling was of a 2 star hotel in need of TLC.
Polite staff Room was a bit basic
We liked it. The hotel's in the corner of the huge and busy Plaza del Pilar, so it's central to the sights and cafes and restaurants. We had no problem with traffic and street noise.
Central position for visiting many interesting places and restaurants. This was second time we stayed there. Last time on the third floor this time first floor and noisier. The room was less pleasant and the bathroom not very comfortable. We probably would look for a different hotel in Zaragossa next time.
very centrally located a little on the shabby side
Lo mejor es la situación en la que se encuentra el hotel, enfrente de la catedral y con vistas a la básilica de nuestra señora del Pilar. Esta algo antiguo
Staff were pleasant, reasonable and made an effort to express themselves transparently.
No coffee making facilities. Bathroom very small.
The hotel is centrally located. The restaurant is good value. The people at the front desk are very nice. There is no internet service in the hotel. You have to hook up your own computer with the phone and dial-up.
Central position near shops and restaurants river etc.
Great position close to the old city centre shopping areas and cafes. Quiet and clean and confortable.
It was ok. Small room, cable internet did not work, no wi-fi in the room, no breakfast.
Location was fantastic right in the middle of town
The room was quite comfortable and the hotel has a quite central localisation; its easy to walk to the principal interests in the city, both to go shopping and to visit monuments, and there's a good offer of buses near the hotel the breakfast is to frugal
location could not control the room temperature. it was much too hot during the night.
Its location was perfect. It was very clean and rooms are newly refurbished. Staff were fine answering your questions, but it would have been better if they were friendlier. Our room had the window view to another building but we did not mind at all.
Clean comfortable room. No noise. Close to shopping area.
The location was great.
Actually it was like I expected from the reviews. Cable internet (I had to change a room because at first it was't working), cleaning services were great, the hotel stuff were very kind. Breakfast it was not the kind that I am used to, but it works.
walking distance to cathedral, nice modern furniture Car parking costs 12 - 20 Euro in nearby locations
