It's the longest time I've ever spend disembarking from a plane and clearing an airport - very poor whoever was responsible (I'm assuming Sydney airport was at fault)."

The staff tried to get me to take medicines that I could not read for nauseous but I would not. They said they were prescribed by a doctor! What doctor. The flight was the longest worst ever! 14 hours - nothing to eat or drink! In addition, the head flight attendant said the baggage compartment over my head was a problem as it opens all the way down and bags fall easily out. The bag was easily 30 pounds and landed directly on my head. I suffered a concussion."

Unflinching, she just wanted to check d face of my 3 year old in case she is impersonating. That being said, some other staff were very friendly so this is not generalizing all to be same way"

Then they changed the itinerary (again) with a minor improvement after we had upgraded to Business class. Somehow Air Canada deleted the special meals. Not just lost with the change but actively deleted according their rep. So no meals."

Cons: "The flight attendants were jerks. Why can't I listen to my headphones before takeoff? Because of the safety speech? Are deaf people not allowed to fly? I was asked to take my headphones off during the safety speech, which I did. I put them back on after the speech and was yelled at. The lady in front of me had a dog. The lady across from me was talking on her cell phone. And the kids behind me were playing games on their iPad with no headphones and the sound on. No one said anything to them. Screw this airline."

I was seated at the window and I had lost my compression socks on the flight just a couple days before so I wanted to be able to get up and stand without climbing over a passenger. Since I am over 60 years of age, I asked if there was an opportunity in the very back to have an empty seat next to me. Me did find me one and I TOTALLY appreciated it. I used to have the status to have the better seats and it was hard to lose that...this was wonderful. Thanks for making me feel valued."

The gate attendant helped a lot with my boarding pass which was on my phone and didn’t work the first time I tried it. The plane was a brand new 737 Max 9. My seat was in first class (2A) is was a nice size seat and comfortable! The flight crew was extremely nice, polite and attentive!"
Cons: "We did hit some turbulence on the trip but nothing major. The person in front of me reclined their seat pretty early in the trip which was fine until I had to use the lavatory. It was a bit of a tight squeeze trying to get out of the row since I was in the window seat. Was a little bit upset that I complied with the carry-on rules and many of the other passengers DID NOT! The flight was over sold and they did ask for volunteers to give up their seats. I wish United would stop doing that!"
Pros: "The flight from BHM to DEN (my connection) was re-routed due to poor weather in DEN. What was supposed to be a 3-hr flight, turned into a 5-hr flight. Thank goodness my layover was originally 3.5 hrs, so that extra time in the air cut into that wait time at the airport, but at least waiting at the airport would allow me to move around and stretch my legs, and not be stuck in THE tiniest plane seat I've ever experienced."

The seats were SO incredibly tiny, and there is very little room in the pocket on the back of the seat in front of you. You can't fit a water bottle, and barely my tiny purse or e-reader device. Please do away with these super-tiny seats."

Cons: "Insufficient and/or incomplete communication from pilot as to the nature of the delay (unhooked cable), how it was being addressed (the ONLY person that could hook the cable was still at home; then when he did arrive, he was assigned to fix another airplane before ours), and what we, as passengers, could do to help ourselves (United staff was reviewing connections, but then no one ever came back to relay information about that). We missed our connecting flight (we finally departed 15 minutes before our connecting flight left Denver); I had to call customer service while still sitting on the plane, and we were placed on a connecting flight out of Denver that left 4 hours AFTER we should have landed at our final destination. What should have been 9 hours of total travel time (including driving to and from airport, security checks, customs, etc.) turned into 20 hours, resulting in a lost 1st day of our trip."

Pros: "I am slow walking due to health issues. Coming from Kansas City to Chicago was a problem. My daughter who was with me is physically handicapped. There was no transportation to assist us to get from one terminal to another one when we arrived. Thank goodness we had a two and one-half hour overlay. Going home was a different story. Two wonderful gentleman met us as we disembarked and speedily got us to our flight. We only had 30 minutes and they made sure we were there. Issac and the other man are to be commended!"

My 70 year old aunt lost her other flight in Houston and had to wait 12 more hours overnight wihtout food because all the restaurants were already closed. In our case were a party of five and with 1hr 40min connection. We had to run to the other side of the airport to the international gates not knowing if we lost the flight because when we arrived to Houston the second flight was already boarding. Luckly the flight attendants let us out first before the other passengers and barely made it."

The airline employees themselves were creating a paniced and hurried situation; nevertheless with both young and small children present, not exactly a comfortable, enjoyable or safe flying experience. I'm quite versed in the world of flying and travel as my father in law has held an upper level executive position with Unites Airlines for nearly 3 decades and have been actively flying as a mode of travel for well over 25 years myself. Even upon our 'delay' the demeanor of the flight crew nor the boarding agents seemed to improve or change, unless however you were in first class or were what appeared to be a fellow employee and/or family member. Furthermore I'm rather curious as to the FAA's interest in their very careless and lacking interest as to whom and passengers were boarding."

Then we were given the option to leave the plane as the doors were to be disarmed. But if we did the plane could get clearence and leave with no warning. I missed my connecting transportation, had to scrape my weekend plans, currently searching for a place to stay tonight while they locate my bag. I am cold and left my jacket in my bag. The United counter people are blaming it on the weather. I am sure everything was delayed by the laxadaysical baggage loader. The one person ( or lack of help loading the bags on the plane completely altered my travel plans. I requested assistance for hotel only to be told they are full when in fact several are vacant on the Internet. I should of videotaped the baggage loading in Canada, it would of went viral."
