Cons: "When a very large man is placed next to someone else who is in a middle seat and cannot use the arm rests on either side, I would think the hostesses would make an effort to move one of the three considering there were multiple other open seats. He was also very old and could hardly stand up when needed. It was the most uncomfortable flight, if I had the money, I would definitely fly business class"

Pros: "The Q-suite is exceptionally comfortable and the door really does make a difference. I usually have difficulty sleeping but the isolation from aisle traffic and ambient noise reduction was enough to allow some very good sleep. Staff experience was also exceptional - friendly and highly competent, looking to go the extra mile. Food was great and full menu available upon request."

Cons: "17 hour transit in Doha and no accommodation was provided. Though I booked it from a third party I belive QA is at least responsible for making sure that the vendors let the user know that there will be NO accommodation provided. This information is also not readily accessible when searching online."

Pros: "The service was perfect the aircraft was clean and tidy. The pyjamas were a great added bonus and comfortable."

Pros: "I liked that the flight was not full and I was able to use the entire row of seats and lie down as straight as possible to get some sleep. The crew was very friendly and allowed us to sleep most of the flight --- I guess they figured that most of the travelers prefer to just sleep and not be disturbed during a 15-hour flight. There was a good selection of movies and shows to watch to pass the time. I liked that there was time to go on the city tour of Doha and that there is a counter at the airport for the city tour."
Cons: "My flight started in Kathmandu and the layover for the connecting flight from Doha to LAX was 12 hours. I hope Qatar can come up with a schedule that will reduce the layover down to less hours while still giving passengers time to go on the city tour, if they want to."

Cons: "The food was not served well. There were no snacks on the flight. The service was not even prompt. If I request for juice/water it was served to me after 30-40 minutes . I was travelling with a baby and the staff was not even considerate about it and attending fast. I requested for a mineral water bottle as I ran out of baby water for making milk for the baby and the staff was so reluctant and told "they are done" and just left.I am really dissapointed with this. I doubt if I would travel with qatar again"

Cons: "I am a very experienced traveller. I always book an isle seat, especially for long flights (this was 12 hrs.), so that I can get up and stretch my legs etc. The couple sitting beside me were upset that I did not take the window seat. When it came time to sleep, the wife stretched out over her husbands legs, who was sitting beside me. This meant her feet were coming on top of my legs, and her legs were forcing her husbands legs into my space, touching my leg - I had to put a pillow between my leg and his leg. I asked the Qatar hostess if she could please ask the couple to change their positions, so that my seating space was respected, resulting in no body touching. The hostess replied that she was not permitted to ask the couple to change their positions and be more respectful. Fortunately there was another unreserved isle seat and I was able to move. Due to the fact that airplanes have become cultural melting pots, thousands of feet in the air, I think it would be peacefully beneficial too all, if a very discreet announcement could be made at the beginning of each flight regrading seating etiquette, respectfulness towards others etc. this could also be printed in the flight magazine. Thanks in advance."

Pros: "I like that the air stewards bring you water and drinks throughout and don't judge you for being too thirsty. I like that they respect that it is a night flight and serve the meal quickly so it can be dark for the whole flight and you can sleep as much as you can. I like how efficient the layover is in Doha - only 40mins!"
Cons: "I don't like when they don't ask the person in front to move their chair up for the meal and the passengers have to ask each other. I don't like that they can't tell you the gate of your connecting flight and how long it will take to get you there - including if you will need to take a bus and the train. I think this could reduce a lot of anxiety. If they could do this, it would also be helpful to let people who have a connecting flight that is boarding in the next 30 mins off the plane first. This would save pushing and shoving in the aisles... and would also reduce anxiety about booking a flight with such a short layover."

Cons: "Kayak/priceline re-booked my flight for my sister and I from SAA to BA, but failed to completely reissue us tickets. When we checked in for the flight, we had no ticket for the first leg of the flight, but we had tickets for the remaining flights. We immediately called to fix this problem, but due to slow customer service, we weren't issued tickets in time and the flight left without us. We missed all remaining connecting flights and were forced to buy New tickets. Now we have to work with kayak/priceline to get all my money back due to their error. We came back a day later than expected and missed going back to work."

Cons: "My seat was broken so I sat up right for 16 hours. To top it off I needed to use the toilet REALLY bad but was denied even though we were SITTING on the runway for 20 mins. When I FINALLY get to use the toilet, after a smaller Asian girl and a taller Indian girl were getting bags of blankets out of, I leave a WOODEN CLIPBOARD full of VERY important papers that will cost me inside. Yet when I call to retrieve them they are "nowhere to be found" so you're telling me out of those 2 women, the Indian gentleman, the black woman & the other Asian woman back there didn't notice a clipboard when I was the only person back there trying to use the toilet or they simply threw a wooden and metal clipboard away ?? With what was clearly paperwork clipped onto it ? The girl at the service desk of Qatar airways claims to have looked herself. But she was rushing me off of the phone so I don't feel like she remotely cared even a little. I am PAST unhappy. So thank you for throwing my paperwork away I know for sure was left behind. Very thorough team."

Cons: "I've never had this huge an issue on check in. Set us back over 45 minutes, and we could not get the VAT refund. I will not be paying more to fly on Qatar again based on our incoming and outgoing issues. I wouldn't rate it any higher than other cheaper options."

Cons: "My bag was overweight so o checked online and it said that the charge would be $50, but when i got to the airport in Dubai the charge was $75 with no explanation about thr difference. When we arrived in LA we set on the tarmac foe about 45mins waiting for an open gate. Wasnt the best experience"

Pros: "For a change, I found the cabin crew extremely courteous and helpful. A remarkable change from the last so many flights flown across different airlines."
Cons: "The entertainment system is poor. Hardly any movies/shows worth watching. The leg space sucks. Agree I was flying cattle class, but even then it seemed to be too cramped."

Pros: "I was most disappointed when I got to the check in counter only to be informed that I was on "stand by" That was quite strange consideirng that the flight was not free, I had booked early called a day priot to the flight for confirmation. Though I was later allowed to fly but such treatment was most unnecessary. On the whole the flight was good"

Cons: "We had to walk from the one side of the airport to another, security check AGAIN (this was a transfer flight, why another check?), then we had to walk ALL the way back to where we just came from, as the boarding gate was close to where we got off. We wanted to go to the loo, but they said we are late. But we sat for another hour behind the gate and waited for the plane. At 01h00 in the morning after 12h of travel, not the best experience - and something that could be avoided."
