Pros: "The fact that I made it to my destination on time, Barely. The crew was professional but not too involved, mostly hung out in the back of the plane having personal conversations. Pilot was very dry, and I really didn’t feel welcome to be a passenger."
Cons: "The boarding process is ridiculous, rush everyone to a bus and just to sit on a plane for an hour?! That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen experienced during a flight. What were the flight attendants doing?? Nothing. Didn’t offer any water or a misery of a snack while we waited. The pilot didn’t tell us anything, like where we were in line for departure, or what the hold up was. Very poor flight experience. Cons: "It was awful. My original flight was scheduled to depart March 30 at 11:55. Then Aeromexico changed it to 1:35am in March 31. They refused to let me change flights when this happened. I wanted to fly standby on an earlier flight, so I called everyday for 2 weeks to confirm how many seats were left. Everyone I talked to told me I could fly standby if it was he same day as my ticket. I got to the airport and the flight attendant at check in told me “standby doesn’t exist.” When I asked how much it would be to change my ticket, she just said “very expensive.” She told me she’d have to check me out of my current flight and risk me losing my seat on that flight, because it was overbooked just to see the price for the earlier flight. I told her I’d be willing to pay up to $200 to switch to the earlier flight and she told me it was very expensive and she wouldn’t do it. I came back later that night and took my scheduled flight. I carried on my bag from SFO to MEX. On my second flight from MEX to BOG, the attendant told an older woman she had to check her bag because the overhead was going to be too full. I volunteered to check my bag instead so she could keep her bag. Then Aeromexico lost my bag. When I got to BOG, they told me I couldn’t have a voucher because it was my fault for bringing a bag that was too big. Finally they gave me $100 because the next day was Easter and I had no clothes for church. I wasted over 2 hours of my vacation at the Bogota airport while Aeromexico searched for my bag. They said they’d call as soon as they found it. No one ever called. I called and they asked “what color is your bag?” I said “red” and the attendant said they had it. It was delivered several hours after this call despite the fact that the airport is less than 20 minutes from where we are staying. I didn’t think an airline could be worse han United, but Aeromexico steals the cake."

And there were only 4 movies in the entertainment section and nothing else. No TV series or any other videos. The crew was courteous. That was the only good thing about the flight. Highly disappointed."

I appreciated the fact that they were being through for our safety, but catch that before you have people board."

Pros: "American airlines is located in a small terminal at CDG which works to its advantage. Compared to other airlines, getting to the US from Paris is a lot easier. The airplane was brand new, entertainment on board is the best I've seen in a long time. In Chicago, clearing immigration and customs was a breeze, the airport is very well designed for international travelers."

Cons: "Oh man, I have so many things I need to say. I tried giving AA a chance, but compared to when I flew on WestJest two months prior for almost the exact same trip (I flew to San Francisco versus San Jose that time), WestJet was by far more superior in terms of customer service, boarding organization, and friendliness. First of all, what bugged me profusely was the lack of seat selection and the crazy pricing for certain seats. On WestJet, the emergency exit seats were available without any additional cost, yet AA was charging $66 USD to sit there. Furthermore, seats closer to Business class also carried a charge of $25 (or something like that) - ONLY because you get to board sooner. I would understand if there was extra legroom involved, but really, it's just a matter of sitting and getting off before anyone else. If anything, those seats should be given to passengers who have tight connecting flights and need to get off asap. even in those cases, you shouldn't be charging someone almost $30 just so they can make it to their next flight that YOUR company arranged within such a short time frame. But the most annoying thing about my trip with AA was the fact that I had to take out all of my belongings from my carry-on and carry them in my arms because there was no room left in the overhead compartments. Excuse me?? How is there not enough room? So I had to walk with my laptop, my iPad, my Beats headphones, my laptop and iPad charger, amongst other things, in my hands to the aircraft. Thank goodness I found a plastic bag, because otherwise I probably would have lost something expensive on that plane. Furthermore, as I walked to my seat, there was most definitely places that I could have stowed my carry-on luggage in the overhead compartments. You shouldn't let people put things like purses and bags of food in the overhead, when those can be stowed underneath the seats in front."

I had to go from gate E 6 to gate B14 in a flash at the age of 66 I barely made it out of breath and they were about to close the doors! I was not a happy camper when I was told in the flight 5406 that I had plenty of time!!! not to worry!!!"

Cons: "my first flight was delayed by 4 hours so I automatically missed my connection. i called american to reschedule my flight for the next day in order to spend the night at my house and not have ro ask for hotel, they said no problem. when I go to she counter to explain they said that they would put me on a later flight and that they where sure I would make it. when I arrived miami I had missed my connection and they did NOT cover the hotel expenses they rebooked me for the next day at 5pm. no food no hotel no nothing. the next day I arrived at the airport counter the people at the american airline's counter did not want to let me thorugh because I had a one way ticket... after explaining for over 25 minutes they let me go.... the miami gloght to Bermuda then was also delayed for a total of 2 hours and they changed gates 8 times from one end to thw other and so on.... the worst service ever........"

Thank goodness my layover was originally 3.5 hrs, so that extra time in the air cut into that wait time at the airport, but at least waiting at the airport would allow me to move around and stretch my legs, and not be stuck in THE tiniest plane seat I've ever experienced."

The seats were SO incredibly tiny, and there is very little room in the pocket on the back of the seat in front of you. You can't fit a water bottle, and barely my tiny purse or e-reader device. There was an out of order sign on the door - but no sign indicating the rug was soaked. I left my shoes by my seat - had to throw my socks away. Movies & entertainment was mediocre."
Cons: "They put my luggage on a flight 3 hours later. I bought this flight so I can get to the wedding rehearsal on time. All my fiancés and my clothes are in that luggage. So now we are late to the wedding rehearsal that my fiance is the maid of honor for and we still have to head to the hotel to check in and get ready. It's just unacceptable."

Cons: "Insufficient and/or incomplete communication from pilot as to the nature of the delay (unhooked cable), how it was being addressed (the ONLY person that could hook the cable was still at home; then when he did arrive, he was assigned to fix another airplane before ours), and what we, as passengers, could do to help ourselves (United staff was reviewing connections, but then no one ever came back to relay information about that). We missed our connecting flight (we finally departed 15 minutes before our connecting flight left Denver); I had to call customer service while still sitting on the plane, and we were placed on a connecting flight out of Denver that left 4 hours AFTER we should have landed at our final destination. What should have been 9 hours of total travel time (including driving to and from airport, security checks, customs, etc.) turned into 20 hours, resulting in a lost 1st day of our trip."

Pros: "I am slow walking due to health issues. Coming from Kansas City to Chicago was a problem. My daughter who was with me is physically handicapped. There was no transportation to assist us to get from one terminal to another one when we arrived. Thank goodness we had a two and one-half hour overlay. Going home was a different story. Two wonderful gentleman met us as we disembarked and speedily got us to our flight. We only had 30 minutes and they made sure we were there. Issac and the other man are to be commended!"

My 70 year old aunt lost her other flight in Houston and had to wait 12 more hours overnight wihtout food because all the restaurants were already closed. In our case were a party of five and with 1hr 40min connection. We had to run to the other side of the airport to the international gates not knowing if we lost the flight because when we arrived to Houston the second flight was already boarding. Luckly the flight attendants let us out first before the other passengers and barely made it."

Cons: "We were delayed because they couldn't find the demo seatbelt. Then take off and landing were way too jerky. Also they claimed due to it being a short flight no drinks would be served, as we get to watch first class get everything."

Cons: "There were not one but two dogs on the flight which I had an allergic reaction to. Thank goodness I travel with extra allergy medication in my purse. The owner of the dog in front of me keep insisting the dog was hypoallergenic. What matters is my reaction or the person who is allergic reaction to the dog's dander even if they claim it's a hypoallergenic dog. Once I had a severe reaction on a United flight and the cat was no where near me, but the air is circulating so I has to take benadryl. There should be some consideration for people who have health concerns without making the customer feel like we are a problem."

Cons: "if you ask a stewardess if the airplane from Houston to Leon has a power source for the iPhones you get - scolded, "sir, this is not a 737". Really. Would I ask if i knew the particulars of all the plane sizes in your fleet. I asked because I needed one and do not study the amenities of each plane. Try some politeness with the "idiocy" of passengers slammed into a window seat by your automated seating computer. Next. To fill out the forms provide please offer a pen. You can put your name on it if you like, make it a gimme pen. I tried internet unsuccessfully, then joined United Club to get wifi, only to discover after too late its only at the airport; then tried go go wifi; only to discover we flew out of range, again no notice that there was a particular range - your inflight ap services are not friendly revealing the shortcomings of a purchase."
Cons: "United botched my boarding passes at security so I had to run back and get the correct one, catching my bags to see if they were going to the right place"
Pros: "Boarding was a little challenging. Had issues with a bad check-in kiosk, but the staff handled well and got on my flight. Small plane,but a short flight."
Pros: "My overall experience was excellent except for your new food policy. Meals should included! I am handicapped and asked for help boarding and getting to flights! I was helped by your caring and very curtitious staff! Thank you for your help."
